Jax’s bar shares a kitchen with Rocco’s tavern next door. The menus are identical but things cost twice as much, at least in terms of drinks, at Jax’s. There is no happy hour. Staff is INCREDIBLY nice. Beer cheese is not that great – very solid and not hot (temperature) or spicy at all. Sandoval was there the night before with Schwartz for the Halloween party. Apparently they filmed the finale for the Valley Village spinoff there.

In sum, a good new addition to the neighborhood but needs room for growth. Jax is apparently there all the time and drives a golf cart there.
