Hmmmm. All I can say is that the team said nothing directly to the quarterback about his brother. It was his PR team. The QB and the team are managed by two different PR firms fyi. Nobody has ever had an issue with his wife in KC fyi. Solely his brother . The wife is well known and well loved. The brother ? Not so much- but he never went to rehab. There was an official team party where the boss’s son, who also worked for the team, got hammered. Something terrible happened and the team’s PR team LOVED that the brother and wife of the QB were getting bad PR because it kept the eye off of them while they settled the case.
Obviously the QB’s PR team was then pissed. THAT’S when they had the talk about the brother – bc they were being scapegoated. Does this all make sense now?

Idk I just told this to my husband and he didn’t know about it. He is always in tune with sports drama and I feel like he would know this if there weren’t a coverup or at least sweeping under the rug. That’s something that would typically be mainstream news IMO (for anyone not rich enough to cover it up)

It’s been all over the news. The party was right around the Super Bowl two years ago. We don’t live near KC and remember hearing about it. I don’t think they’re hiding anything about Andy’s son.
Not really because he was doing dumb stuff and businesses and fans were outspoken and annoyed by it. I don’t think the bar that called him out was doing it to protect the bosses son? (Owner? coach? GM? Which boss are we talking about?)

As someone who lives in KC. Patrick’s wife is far from well liked. She is just as bad as the brother. Anyone I’ve known to have interaction with her has had nothing good to say. Last thanksgiving she went on a twitter rant about a DJ and a local bar putting his job in jeopardy all because she didn’t like the music he was playing. She and the brother sat in the stands at a Patriots game a few years ago and kept talking shit to the fans and gloating that she was mahomes fiancé and how he’s the best.. she claimed the fans were trying to hurt them and security moved then inside…if you’re gunna sit in the stands with fans of the opposite team, of course you’re gunna hear them shit on the other team.. it’s normal. But she acted insane about it.. there was footage to prove she was starting the drama and then claimed victim.

This makes more sense. Timeline matches. Britt Reid’s trial was in the news Jan 2022 (pushed back). Also around the time the Chiefs settlement with the victims family happened. As far as Jackson’s distance? Around Feb 22 he was seen “sniffing a substance” at a KC concert. It’s on video. That seemed to be when social media distance happened, he claimed media was ruining his life.

Agreed! People go so hard for the girls I’m sure she isn’t perfect, but her life isn’t normal and I’m sure she’s a decent person at the heart of it.
Totally agree bc when Chris Jones did it with a beer can after the same game more comments were made about the lady in background. Everyone thought it was awesome when he did it. I think that when it is that big of a game and they win you shouldn’t be there if you can’t handle beer or champagne spray on you. You celebrate that shit!
