Yes it’s breaking the rules but there’s so much more to this story. His PR crisis team is way off base. Should’ve skipped that statement. It’s all going to come out now.

He didn’t have her number, I think he sent her a message on Instagram or something. He asked her for her number so they could connect about a something.

If he really wanted to connect over a Choreographer then why not mention that in the message to the contestant?
