Subject: Teen Mom New ShowA Teen Mom announced a new home design show recently but can’t get homeowners to sign on. My friend was chosen and was through the entire design process. She dropped out because the design was terrible. Now they are desperate to find homeowners with deep pockets to pay cash for a renovation. Even in the Midwest we have some level of taste. This email was sent from a contact form on Bravo and Cocktails.

Chelsea DeBoer. Doesn’t shock me, she has a very modern loud farmhouse vibe. She also very recently shared they she bought a family cabin to renovate so I bet that’s the first project if they can’t get others.
Chelsea is by far the best Teen Mom to come out of the franchise but I don’t know what HGTV is thinking here. I don’t expect it to last more than a season and good for her but she’s not even close to Joanna Gaines caliber and everything she’s done to her home is a copy off of Instagram and doesn’t have any ideas of her own. It’s just nice nothing she has done isn’t something that everyone else can do too. Best of luck and love seeing how far she’s come but I truly think she’s in over her head on this one!
So THAT’S where I recognized the name DeBoer. I saw some paid ad on IG about it and couldn’t figure out where I knew those people from. IMO Chelsea is the prettiest of the early Teen Moms but her aesthetic is so painfully basic.
I always liked Chelsea but also feel like it’s kind of random that she’s designing houses. Idk if choosing designs for her own house makes her the next Joanna Gaines or Erin Napier, but maybe! ??♀️
