In other words, “Poison Apple” is the anthem for taking back one’s freedom, leaving the negativity, and staying strong. The recurring line, “Don’t wanna eat your poison apple”, in the song represents not biting into someone’s toxic and abusive control and encouraging people to stand up for and extricate themselves from these destructive situations.
