Amanda Batula is ready to move forward with West Wilson, but her plan to make peace with ex Kyle Cooke may be a little too close for comfort.
In a preview for the “In The City” season 1 finale, Amanda sits down with Kyle after she and West are already an item and suggests the four of them get together for dinner.
“Maybe me, you, West, and Salley can all get dinner together,” Amanda tells him.
Amanda was referring to Salley Carson, the “Southern Charm” star Kyle was rumored to be seeing at the time.
Kyle does not answer in the preview, but he appears uncomfortable with the idea. Unfortunately, viewers will have to wait until the finale to find out whether he agrees to the double date.

The awkward proposal comes after Amanda reached a major turning point in the penultimate episode of “In The City.”
As Kyle moved forward with his growing DJ career, Amanda admitted she felt like her husband was planning a future that did not include her.
“Not only is he committed to this tour and all these gigs, something that we didn’t even talk about, he’s excited about it,” Amanda said in a confessional.
“This man is planning his future without me in it,” she continued. “No matter how many times he tells people that he’s making efforts, his actions prove otherwise. There’s something in my gut that feels like this is the end.”
Amanda later tried to explain her feelings to her friends during a group dinner.
“I think there’s a lot of history between us and a lot of things that not everyone’s privy to,” she said. “But, like, my opinions and my feelings on this are gonna probably be different than all of yours. But we can still be happy for him and celebrate him. It doesn’t have to be one way or the other. It would be nice to have, like, had a conversation about it…”
Kyle insisted he had “tried multiple times” to discuss the situation with Amanda.
The conversation quickly escalated.
“Kyle hasn’t wanted to come home since the day we started dating,” Amanda said. “He’s had late nights and been absolutely (expletive) (expletive)-faced since we started to do a hard reset with the…”
“Your hard reset consisted of you doing nothing,” Kyle interjected.
Kyle later said he “might actually spiral,” while Amanda became so overwhelmed that she left the dinner.
“I think I just need to excuse myself,” she said. “My whole body is shaking. I’m just having, like, a physical reaction to all of this right now. I just need a moment.”
Now, the finale will jump ahead to Amanda’s relationship with West and her unexpected suggestion that she and Kyle attempt to socialize with their new partners.
The “In The City” season 1 finale airs Tuesday, July 14, on Bravo.
