Taylor Frankie Paul’s long-shelved season of “The Bachelorette” may finally make its way to television.

According to an exclusive report from TMZ, ABC is now planning to air Paul’s previously canceled season in mid-July after reportedly conducting audience testing to gauge viewers’ reactions.

The network has not officially confirmed the report or announced a premiere date.

Taylor Frankie Paul’s Canceled Season Could Finally Air

ABC originally pulled the plug on the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star’s season in March, just three days before its scheduled premiere.

At the time, the network announced it would not move forward with the dating series following a now-closed police investigation involving Paul’s former boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

TMZ also published leaked footage in the days leading up to the cancellation that showed a separate 2023 physical altercation between the former couple.

Following the video’s release, Disney issued a statement explaining its decision.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney spokesperson said.

The ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Says She’s Focused on Protecting Her Family

Shortly after the cancellation, Paul’s spokesperson released a statement to People addressing the situation.

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” the statement read.

“After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”

While ABC has yet to comment publicly on TMZ’s latest report, the possibility of the season finally airing marks a significant development after many fans believed it would never be released.
