Liz McGraw isn’t backing down after her latest blowup with Jo-Ellen Tiberi on “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.”

Sunday night’s episode saw tensions boil over during the cast’s trip to Boston, and the drama didn’t end when the cameras stopped rolling. During the May 31 episode of the “RHORI: After Show,” Liz opened up about exactly why she was so upset with Jo-Ellen and revealed that she continued venting long after the confrontation ended.

According to Liz, one moment in particular pushed her over the edge.

Liz McGraw Reveals the RHORI Moment That Sent Her Over the Edge

Looking back on the argument, Liz said she was especially bothered by Jo-Ellen attempting to calm her down while they were actively fighting.

“She’s a weirdo. She [was] yelling at me and simultaneously trying to fix my face,” Liz recalled. “And then the hand on me. Get your (expletive) hand off me … It’s actually burning a hole through me. I don’t feel the love from your hand right now, or good intentions.”

Liz admitted she was already dealing with personal stress and wasn’t in a place emotionally to handle additional conflict.

“That’s the truth. I just wanted away from it. I was steaming,” she explained.

The frustration followed her home.

“I got home and I just like, rage-texted, ‘You disingenuous fool.’ I think I remember saying that and ‘You drew first blood mother(expletive),’ like, I was just so mad. ‘Now the world’s gonna know what you’re made of.'”

Liz went on to claim that her issues with Jo-Ellen often follow a similar pattern.

“She will become the victim and be like, ‘You really hurt my feelings with that.’ [But] if [she] didn’t do it, there would be no feelings to be hurt.”

Jo-Ellen Tiberi Says She Was Only Trying to Help

While Liz viewed the situation one way, Jo-Ellen said she had a completely different perspective.

During her own appearance on the “RHORI: After Show,” Jo-Ellen suggested she was simply trying to calm things down between Liz and Alicia Carmody.

“I don’t want to be mediator,” she said. “I think I was like, ‘Hey, if she feels this way, don’t say that. Alicia, calm down.’ I was just trying to de-escalate the situation.”

She added, “I’m just trying to be a good friend.”

Alicia, however, made it clear she wasn’t thrilled with how the confrontation unfolded either.

“No one should ever talk to [me] like that,” Alicia said.

She also pointed out the complicated dynamic between Liz and Jo-Ellen.

“She hates Jo-Ellen more than anybody. That’s what throws me the (expletive) off. I’m gonna be honest with you.”

Alicia continued, “She thinks you’re the worst person. She calls you the devil. She says that you’re a scumbag.”

Despite their ongoing issues, Jo-Ellen explained that she still cares about Liz and values their friendship when things are good between them.

“I care about her. We have fun when we have fun, and then when she turns that switch, it’s turned,” she said.

Alicia Carmody Gets Pulled Into the Growing RHORI Feud

The conflict originally stemmed from tension between Liz and Alicia, which escalated when Jo-Ellen attempted to intervene.

While Jo-Ellen believed she was helping, both women appeared to leave the conversation frustrated. Liz later acknowledged that people don’t always have to understand her point of view.

“I want you to understand me. I want you to understand where I’m coming from. But I think I am learning that people don’t have to understand me all the time,” she said.

“I know the way it looks. I know that this looks like I demand this absolute loyalty (expletive). I don’t. I don’t need anyone’s loyalty. Just stop (expletive) with me.”
