Amanda Batula’s romance with West Wilson wasn’t the only thing Bravo fans were discussing after part two of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion.
While viewers continued debating Amanda and West’s relationship timeline, a surprising topic emerged as one of the biggest talking points online: Amanda’s bun.
The reality star’s reunion look featured a slicked-back style with part of her hair pulled into a small bun while the rest flowed freely down her back. The hairstyle quickly divided fans, with many taking to social media to share their opinions on the unconventional look.
As criticism mounted, Amanda’s hairstylist, Olivia Halpin, decided to join the conversation.

On June 3, Halpin appeared to acknowledge the growing backlash with a cheeky Instagram post.
“The bun you love to hate,” she wrote.
The comment section quickly filled with reactions from Bravo fans.
“It’s giving I am running to the bathroom to puke and gotta get the hair out of the way,” one Instagram user commented.
Another wrote, “Girllll the way I would never let anyone know I did this.”
A third critic added, “it’s very ‘i woke up like this,’ but not at all in the way that Beyoncé intended.”
Despite the criticism, the hairstyle also attracted supporters.
Among them was “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Bronwyn Newport, who commented, “I love your buns.”
Another fan defended the look, writing, “I feel like everyone’s Amanda hate is clouding the fact that the bun is so cute.”
The reactions continued pouring in as screenshots of the hairstyle circulated across social media, turning the reunion look into one of the week’s most talked-about Bravo fashion moments.
The ‘Summer House’ Star Faced Questions About West Wilson Romance
While fans debated Amanda’s hairstyle, the reunion also focused heavily on her relationship with West Wilson.
Amanda and West addressed ongoing questions about when their friendship became romantic following Amanda’s split from Kyle Cooke.
The pair maintained that their relationship did not become romantic until after Amanda and Kyle announced their breakup in January.
“When we were out, I kind of looked at Amanda,” West told host Andy Cohen during part one of the reunion. “And I was like, ‘Am I f–king crazy or is there a little something going on here?'”
Amanda also addressed speculation surrounding the timeline of their relationship.
“Everything that was happening between us was PG,” she said. “Everything started with conversation and emotion.”
West added, “This isn’t a sex scandal. This was, like, hanging out.”
The “Summer House” season 10 reunion concludes June 9 on Bravo.
