West Wilson is opening up about where things stand with Kyle Cooke following one of the most talked-about storylines of “Summer House” season 10.
After confirming in March that he was involved in a romance with Amanda Batula following her split from Kyle, West is now revealing that he recently sat down with Kyle for a lengthy conversation in hopes of moving forward.
While things may not be completely repaired, it sounds like both men are trying to get to a better place.
West Wilson Says He and Kyle Cooke Talked for Three Hours
During the May 25 episode of his podcast, “Show Me Something,” West shared that he met with Kyle the week before recording and spent several hours discussing everything that happened.
“I don’t want to say it’s, I’m not going to say it’s good. Nothing’s perfect right now,” West admitted. “We talked for three hours on Wednesday.”
According to West, the conversation was productive and far calmer than some fans might expect.
“I made a lot of progress,” he said.
“It was not a gunfight. It was very calm and peaceful, and trying to hear each other and get to a better place.”
West also thanked Kyle for being willing to have the conversation.
“I really appreciate him doing that. One, just hearing me out. Two, just being nice about it. And then three, hopefully ending on that note, will be better for me because it was a much better environment to talk about everything than the reunion was.”
The ‘Summer House’ Star Also Shared Updates on Jesse Solomon and Ciara Miller
West revealed that his friendship with Jesse Solomon remains intact despite the drama surrounding his relationship with Amanda.
“Jesse’s really good on checking in with me,” West said. “He’s not by any means being an enabler or choosing Amanda’s side or my side, but he cares about the both of us and is still a friend.”
He added that Jesse recently reached out while performing in Missouri.
“He performed in Kansas City, actually,” West shared. “And he sent me pictures at Joe’s Barbecue and stuff like that.”
West also addressed lingering questions about Ciara Miller after the pair flirted throughout season 10 and shared a kiss in the finale.
Looking back, he admitted he has spent more time recently processing how his actions affected those around him.
“I’ve been in such survival mode that I haven’t taken the time to process it,” he said. “I was trying to survive and keep it moving and stay distracted.”
West acknowledged that both Kyle and Ciara were hurt by the situation.
“I know people’s feelings are hurt, especially Ciara and Kyle, no (expletive),” he said.
He continued, “I’m not trying to convince anyone that their feelings don’t matter because they do.”
At the same time, West suggested there may be more context to the story than viewers have seen so far.
“I think it still is a shock to the system, and people feel betrayed, which I guess you’ll see in the reunion,” he said.
Part two of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion airs Tuesday, June 2, on Bravo.
