There has been no shortage of drama surrounding Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship.
What started as online gossip quickly exploded into one of the biggest storylines in the Bravo universe after the “Summer House” cast members confirmed their “connection” in March 2026. Since then, the situation has involved emotional reunions, fractured friendships, public statements, and reactions from nearly every member of the cast.
Here’s a full breakdown of how Amanda and West’s relationship unfolded — and how the rest of the “Summer House” cast reacted along the way.

On January 19, 2026, Amanda and Kyle Cooke confirmed they were ending their marriage after four years together.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the pair shared in a joint statement.
“We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
The statement continued, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
Just weeks later, “Summer House” season 10 premiered on Bravo.
The season had been filmed during summer 2025, and early episodes already hinted at problems between Amanda and Kyle. In the premiere episode, Kyle admitted he had spent only one weekend at home with Amanda over the previous six months.
West Wilson Initially Denied Romance Rumors With Amanda Batula
Rumors surrounding Amanda and West intensified throughout early 2026.
According to Carl Radke, tensions became noticeable while filming a “Hot Ones” appearance with the cast in spring 2026.
“The energy was off,” Carl later shared during a May 12 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“Amanda, as soon as the camera wrapped, she was gone,” he continued. “She’s like, ‘Alright, I’m out.’”
As speculation continued building, West publicly denied there was anything romantic happening between them during a March 24 interview.
“She’s single now, and I gotta show her the streets a little bit,” West said, insisting the relationship was platonic.
“If it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot. That’s a friend.”
But just days later, everything changed.

On March 31, Amanda and West released a joint statement confirming their relationship had evolved beyond friendship.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the statement read.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything.”
The pair explained that they wanted time to process the relationship privately because of the “complicated relationship dynamics involved.”
“Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship,” they added.
The announcement immediately sent shockwaves through the Bravo fandom.
The following day, Andy Cohen addressed the situation on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy.
“I have so many questions, and the reunion is coming up,” Andy admitted. “And, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”
Andy also reminded viewers to be mindful about how they discussed the situation online.
“These are real people who are dealing with a lot,” he said.
Ciara Miller and the ‘Summer House’ Cast React to the Fallout
Much of the backlash centered around Ciara Miller, who previously dated West and had been close friends with Amanda.
During an interview with Glamour published April 17, Ciara admitted the situation had been painful.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” she explained. “To experience it so publicly is like another layer.”
“It’s a major mind f–k.”
Days later, Amanda and West seemingly went public while attending a Yankees game together in New York City. Cameras from the YES Network caught the pair sharing a kiss in the stands.
West later attempted to clarify the timeline of the relationship on his podcast, insisting there had been “no overlap.”
“Everyone was single,” he said. “We realized things are maybe a bit serious in February.”
The cast continued weighing in throughout the following weeks.
On “Watch What Happens Live,” Jesse Solomon admitted he was “disappointed” in how West handled the situation, while KJ Dillard acknowledged feeling hurt after reading a post-reunion text from West.
Lindsay Hubbard also reacted during an April 28 WWHL appearance.
“I don’t regret bringing West because he was the best cast member on Summer House as of two months ago until all of a sudden he was the worst,” Lindsay said.
Meanwhile, Carl did not sound optimistic about the couple’s future when asked if he thought Amanda and West would last.
“Absolutely not,” he answered.

The relationship drama is not ending with “Summer House.”
Bravo later confirmed that Amanda and West’s relationship would also be addressed on the upcoming spinoff “In The City.”
Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock unscripted, told The Ankler that producers filmed additional scenes specifically about the situation.
“In the City, which launches in a couple weeks, you’ll see in the first episode, we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members,” Berwick explained.
“We did pick it up there, but we just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do on Summer House.”
The “In The City” premiere airs May 19 on Bravo.
