Jill Zarin has been fired from ‘The Golden Life’ before the show even went into production, according to Variety Magazine. According to Variety, the show’s producers Blink49 Studios issued a statement confirming this: “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

Jill Zarin’s now-deleted rant about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show continues to spark Bravo gossip — and now, the backlash has gone beyond the Bravoverse.

The formerReal Housewives of New York Citystar is facing public pushback not only from fellow Bravo personalities, but also from a company she once co-owned with her late husband, Bobby Zarin. The fallout comes after Jill posted a video criticizing Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl halftime performance, calling itthe worstin NFL history and taking issue with the performance being primarily in Spanish.

Zarin Fabrics Publicly Distances Itself From Jill Zarin

Zarin Fabrics, the New York–based designer upholstery and drapery company long associated with the Zarin family name, issued a statement on both Instagram and its official website to make its position clear.

The Instagram post featured a photo of Jill marked with a large red X. In the caption, the company wrote,Zarin Fabrics stands firmly against racism, discrimination, and rhetoric that seeks to exclude or diminish people based on identity, culture, or background.”

The statement continued,We want to be absolutely clear that Jill Zarin has not had ownership of or been associated with Zarin Fabrics for several years. Our company operates independently, and any public statements attributed to her are made in a personal capacity and do not reflect our values, beliefs, or operations.”

Zarin Fabrics also added a blue banner across the top of its website homepage that reads,Jill Zarin has not been associated with Zarin Fabrics since Bobby’s death. We are proud Americans who accept all people no matter what language they speak.”

The move marked a rare instance of a former Housewife being publicly disavowed by a company still bearing her family name.

Dorinda Medley Slams Jill’s Bad Bunny Comments

The Bravo gossip didn’t stop there. Several Bravo stars quickly distanced themselves from Jill’s remarks, including Dorinda Medley.

During the February 9 episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Dorinda addressed Jill’s comments directly and made it clear she didn’t agree with any of them.

“We walk through this world right now, which can be very dark,Dorinda said.It was a moment of incredible hope for me. I was like,Oh my god. This is beautiful.’”

Dorinda praised Bad Bunny’s halftime performance, adding,So proud of Bad Bunny for doing this. Music incredible. And then today we woke up to Jill Zarin giving her opinion on it.”

She continued,I don’t know how you can walk away from what we had the luxury and the honor of witnessing yesterday at the Super Bowl and the effect that it probably had on so many people. He created hope, and I felt it.”

Dorinda emphasized that she doesn’t typically weigh in on political topics, but felt compelled to speak up.I do not agree with any of it,she said.I am horrified by it.”
