Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, and Lindsay Hubbard are officially trading Hamptons chaos for Manhattan real life in Bravo’s upcoming series, “In The City” — and yes, the Bravo gossip is already starting.
The longtime “Summer House” stars recently opened up about the new show while appearing on a panel at the 92nd Street Y in New York City on Wednesday, January 28, where they shared fresh details about what viewers can expect from the spinoff.
According to Amanda, “In The City” focuses on a very different phase of life than fans are used to seeing on “Summer House.”
“There’s a lot of couples that are engaged or in serious relationships, married, with children,” Amanda explained in a clip shared by Bravo on Instagram. “Where ‘Summer House‘ is a lot more about singles and hookups and partying. So you’re more so navigating that next chapter and that next phase in life. It’s a little more into adulthood.”
“Just a touch,” Kyle quickly added.
‘In The City’ Shows Their Real NYC Lives — Not Weekend Escapes
Lindsay also pointed out one of the biggest differences between the two shows. While “Summer House” is centered on weekends in the Hamptons, “In The City” stays firmly rooted in Manhattan.
“It shows our day-to-day lives in the city,” Lindsay said. “Where ‘Summer House‘ is focused in the Hamptons, and then you have a little bit of our city life. Whereas this is like — we’re in it. Our activities, our home life, our dating lives back in the city.”
Kyle added that another major shift is the cast itself. Unlike “Summer House,” which introduced new faces over time, “In The City” features a group of friends who have known each other for years — just mostly off-camera.
“What’s fun is that it’s with friends that we’ve had for 10-plus years that never really came on ‘Summer House’,” Kyle said, noting that the cast is an existing friend group.
He echoed those comments during an interview with Us Weekly at BravoCon 2025, saying, “We have other friends that you haven’t necessarily met. It’s going to show that next chapter, and there’s gonna be some familiar faces and some new faces.”
Lindsay Hubbard’s New Role as a Mom Takes Center Stage
Fans can also expect to see a very different side of Lindsay this time around. After welcoming daughter Gemma Britt Kufe in December 2024,
Lindsay said her priorities have shifted — and the new show reflects that.
“We’re not really at a place where we can party in the Hamptons in a shared house all summer, every weekend,” she admitted while speaking to The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025. “Like, I have a baby now, and that’s just not where my head is at.”
She added that “In The City” captures the reality many Bravo fans are actually living.
“Some of us are new parents. Some of us have kids. Some of us are married. Some of us are trying to have kids,” Lindsay explained. “It really is like the show of learning how to take that next chapter of life in stride.”
A premiere date for “In The City” has not yet been announced, but Bravo has confirmed the series is “coming soon.”
