Kyle and Amanda finally confirm their split. Cocktailers knew, of course. What do we think this means for their futures on Summer House and the spin-off, In the City? What’s up? Cocktails? Hello, good afternoon, Amanda. Hello, hi, good Oh, we’re so formal now. Good afternoon. Hello. Good afternoon cocktails. I’m so excited we may get a proper snow storm in New York. Oh, I love a good snow day. Do you have like food and like stuff already to go? Husband is working from home today, so he’s handling that for us. We are thinking of those who are going to be impacted and aren’t used to this weather. I know I’m seeing some reports that, like Texas, and I know Atlanta, we got an email that it may actually, and we’ll get to that on the pod, may actually disrupt the girls trip filming, because Atlanta, so I don’t really understand it, but like in the south, obviously they don’t get snow, so I guess they don’t have the plows, or they don’t have, like, the infrastructure to handle it. So it’s a very dangerous situation when it happens. And a lot of people don’t have all wheel drive or four wheel drive cars, and oh gosh. And that makes such a difference, especially in hilly areas. I have to tell you, we were upstate. God bless sports. It takes you all over on Saturday mornings at 7am and, you know, upstate just gets more snow, like, yeah, just does. And we have, I have an SUV, but to be honest, it’s, it’s a lease, it’s fairly new. We haven’t got a ton of snow, like last year, and we were, like, trying to figure out, like we were definitely not in snow mode, and it was scary. So I was like, I remember being a kid and just being in my parents like, regular old sedan. I’m sure it did not have four wheel drive, definitely didn’t, or all wheel or whatever. And yeah, you could slip so like, stay home everybody, if you can. Yeah, they’re saying, I think in Houston, they’re saying, everybody stay home starting Saturday or Sunday morning until Tuesday, like, I have to stay in your house. I know that there are, like, obviously, people who can’t because of work and God bless our first responders and everyone who keeps the world going. But I love a good excuse to, like, get snowed in. I have shows to catch up on. I want to start binging. I’m hearing his and hers, I think, yes, like, I just brought that up. Good. No, not yet, but I’ve heard that’s good. That’s on my list too. Yeah. So, like, I’m good. Snow me in. We had like, a friends party Saturday early, and we were actually gonna, like, stay out, like, hang out with friends later. And I was like, You know what? We’re just gonna come home after. It’s, like, an afternoon, it’s a kitty party. But party, but it’s fun because, like, all the parents were friends with and come home and like, I’m bunkering down. I got my box cake mix because, you know, shout out to Tracy, who got me the stand mixer for Christmas. You guys would be happy to know. And I absolutely suck at it. I made the most disgusting I tried to make cookies my mother made for Christmas, these lemon they’re called Jeanette. I’ve done them before, but to be transparent, I have my friends help who’s Italian and knows how to do them. I thought I could take it on myself. It tasted like just flour. I don’t know what I did.
She’s like, she’s good, yeah, and she’s actually much better at it. And I should have I don’t know what she was doing that day? Yeah, probably at practice. But no, she’s actually, I think she’s got it in her like, she’s really good at baking. So I just, but I got the box cake because I like a box cake. I like a box cake too. I actually that’s what I request a fun fit for my birthday. Like, I request box cake, no like, because my husband’s always trying to like, add like to it. I.
Like, I just want straight up box cake. Yes, like, listen, I like the ice. I like a good butter cream. But by the way, because we haven’t really talked about it yet, I just finally started watching Valley Persian style. It is so good, so good. Are you watching? I am watching. I am I think I’m a little behind. I don’t even know if I’m behind. I just the new people. Although I like them, I’m not on like, a first name basis with them. Gigi and we spoke about this a little bit on the pod, right? Gigi’s Marijuana use with that young child, her son in her house, makes me very nervous. I don’t like it. I don’t like it either, and I don’t like the excuse making of like, if I didn’t do it, the world would have to watch out. And it’s my mentality of psychiatrist, my Yeah, I don’t have to go to therapy. It’s my and I’m like that all sounds like things that people who might have an unhealthy habit would say, Well, I don’t you judging, but it’s that it’s legal in New York. I believe it’s legal in Cali, right? It’s legal in like, lot of states, but it’s like, so is wine, but I can’t, like, an ounce, do you know, all day long, an ounce of pot is that’s like a full on Mason Jar pack, yeah, like, not the really big ones, but like, that is so much I cannot imagine. She’s got to be lighting up 10 times a day. That’s, it’s, that’s so much that is. And like, who’s driving your child? Yeah, so that aside, which is the biggest side, she is so interesting to watch. I think MJ and her mom, I know we’re totally going off on a team. I love Vita, but you guys and she, like vetoes, VITAS. Mean, like, Vita has some, I feel like she’s better than she used to be, yeah, but she’s Yeah, and I’m, it’s some of it. I’m probably thinking of some of the flashbacks too, but I love MJ. Situation makes me sad. It does. And like, I, anyway, I wish he would have been open to counseling. It just seems like he was kind of like, I am who I am, and in a point like, MJ was like, Okay, well, that’s enough of that, yeah? But like, not just saying I don’t cheat on my wife and I’m loyal to her. That’s not enough, you know. But even his wife, I don’t think he leaves the couch, right? That’s what he’s saying. He’s like, but I’m loyal, and that should be an like. It’s not enough. I only brought it up because I think it’s so good, and I want us to talk about it. So I want cocktails to start watching. I will be honest with you guys, I watched Shaw’s, but I wasn’t like, a loyal watcher of Shaws, so I would.
So it’s I was a very loyal watcher of shock. Yeah, I really, and I like the new people. I really like Nima. I was bummed that he wasn’t back, although I hear he’s still friends with Mike. And I think actually, because somebody asked and like and asked me anything, and I think Rez is still friends with Mike too, and that kind of bums me out. Oh, really, that’s, like, shocking. So you guys watch it so we can all be talking about it. Okay, so last week, we posted, and I think this was just in cocktail party at the time, and discuss on the podcast that Kyle and Amanda were spotted at essentially 30 rock right where Bravo headquarters are discussing when they would announce their splits, and sure enough, less than a week later, on Monday, on the heels of the Beckham family drama, which is a whole other thing, that they announced that they are separating and asked for everybody’s grace and asked that we respect her privacy, which I actually liked, what they said, which is like, you know, as a couple who has shared everything it, we know that it feels strange for us to ask for that. So here we are. We’ve been talking about this since November 6. Is that right? Yes. I mean, you and I have been talking about it. We have stuff from like, the spring, right? Not that they’re separated, but just his. He talked about them living separately since before November on Yes, and we were the reason why they were getting questioned at bravocon. Yeah. So Monday, the Beckham, Brooklyn. Beckham made a statement about his parents, how he doesn’t want a relationship with them. We’ll chat about that later. And two hours later, they made the announcement. So you have a holiday, you have a a list dramatic story hitting the press. So it was a really good time for it to try to fly under the radar, not in our little sector of the world, because we were all waiting for it. Amanda, it was brought to my attention that, apparently, people on Reddit like to take our posts and laugh about how they’re nonsense, and this was one of them. So all of our cocktails were like, oh, what’s up? Now,
listen to me. I don’t personally know how to work Reddit because I’m a boomer, so I don’t really understand it. I will say this, we are.
Often correct. And cocktail party is a community. People are like, b Who cares enough to go to Reddit and make a whole section about how irrelevant your posts are? Like, if your posts are irrelevant, they’re exactly right. Like, the fact, listen, if they’re not saying anything about you, then you are irrelevant. So I don’t mind it at all. Hey haters, Hey fans, do I think it’s like actual people? No, of course, it’s not. It’s either reality stars we post about, or people who thought it was so easy to do what we do, who tried to do it and weren’t successful and now hate on us like that’s it. Nobody. No. Random Instagram follower makes a whole thing about you on Reddit that doesn’t make any sense well. And remember, for those of you guys who are members, anybody who is found posting our stuff is immediately, can immediately be removed from the group, which we don’t want to see that happen to anybody, obviously. So, yeah, I don’t really go on Reddit. Every once in a while I’ll click on it because it’ll, like, be an answer to something I’m googling. Yes, that’s the times I go on it. And even then, I’m sort of confused. I don’t know it’s, it’s not like, just old, like, an old Forum Board, like, it’s hard to navigate on. That took another whole other thing to me, you know, too, which is, like, same with I’d rather pay my 750 a month, and just have a beautiful website to look at with all links and pods and all different stuff, then search around some old fashioned forum. But that’s just me. I agree. There’s a lot of people who agree with you as well. Yes, okay, okay, so let’s get into I want to start by saying I wish both Kyle and Amanda, well, I have always enjoyed them on television. We knew that they were living apart, right? Kyle was denied. They both denied it at bravocon, and Amanda was like dropping easter eggs all over the place. There was just too much evidence. I think it just became an impossibility for them to fake it. I don’t know if we’re going to see it on summer house. I would imagine we start to see some problems, certainly on the spin off. But the reality is they have to do press together now. So I think they were like, Okay, we are split. We are going to be unable to fake the funk. Well, we’ll see what it looks like. How they roll it out. You don’t make this decision overnight. We all know this. Yeah, I don’t know what it means for the future. Does Amanda go back and just do summer house next summer? Obviously, Sierra’s her bestie West, and Jesse are very good friends of her. She’s been hanging with them. Kyle’s on the spin off. Is the spin off successful? Does it get a second season? What does all of this look like? The idea of both of them living in a share house, doesn’t it? You know that? Yeah, listen, Carl and Lindsay didn’t put a married Matt. I mean, they’re together so many years and married so many years. I don’t see that. I don’t I don’t even think I’d want to watch that. I think it would be too icky. I agree. I guess, first of all, another win for cocktails. We did get a lot of flack on this, but just wanted to point out that we were right again, as I agree with you. It is sad, but for me, this feels like it could be kind of a hopeful time for Amanda, because I think, and we’ve discussed this, I think she thought he was going to shape up a little bit after they got married. And DJ, yeah, and that’s just been this recurring theme, and that is no way to live. So I’m really hopeful for her that this is a time to spread her wings and really, like, take off. So back to your other question. I think that the idea was that the in the city spin off was always going to be where the quote, unquote, older castmates ended up. We know them. We love them. We don’t really want to see them partying their faces off every weekend in the Hamptons anymore. We have not loved the whole couple house thing that we’ve been seeing the last few years. I think it’s a safe bet that Amanda won’t be on summer house anymore, but we’ll see her on in the city, and Kyle, I think he would probably stay on summer house forever if they let him. But I’m wondering if maybe the Bravo executives kind of want to see him leave to make more room for the younger folks to come in see now the spin off, I feel like they could both be on, similar to Brittany and Jack, similar like, yeah, because similar to Katie and Schwartz, because they’re not in a house, right? Yeah, yeah, I agree. I see Kyle going back to summer house, although there is an avenue for him with his DJing career, this is just coming to me where he legitimately will have gigs out east. Like To his credit, he’s having a successful run. He’s got this big tour. He’s booking good spots. So in a legitimate way, he is a single guy right now. And I don’t want to age Shame, shame. I think that him as a married man at his age, like it’s one thing. If you’re married at 25 and you and your wife do a House share, but married in your 40s, he’s in his 40s, not Amanda, but now he’s single and he’s a DJ. So maybe.
He does do summer house again. Oh, geez. Okay, all right, I’m just saying I Yeah. Don’t you think, though, like, I think they could both be on the in the city thing. I think that would be interesting, because I think people are going to want to see what happens to them next, just not necessarily through the lens of the summer house camera. There’s a lot you’re making a big assumption that the spin off will be successful and will be picked up. And the reason I say that is Ronnie is days away from filming. We’re gonna get into that. Guys next gen, Roni and the summer house spin off are very similar ages. Is there room for that? And then you have next gen. It remains to be seen how interesting these new people are. Yeah, you know, I love me some hubs, and she is fantastic. She’s not carrying a whole show. So I’m just saying, you know, summer house is a sure thing. Like, I’m confident to say they’ll go into season 11. We don’t know that the spin off will get a season two. Yeah, that’s true. I do. I have confidence in the people on the show though,

I think that there’s room for two shows featuring people of a similar age that have a different format. Housewives is a pretty specific format. We don’t know what in the city’s format is, but the thing about in the city is that men can be featured more prominently than right the traditional housewives show. So I don’t know. We’ll see. I, like I said, I feel kind of hopeful for Amanda and in in this kind of fresh, hopefully fresh new start that she’s going to get. But speaking of housewives, let’s talk about ultimate road trip. It’s going so we are very fortunate that we had a lot of tips that have all come true. They kicked off on January 19 in Orange County. We were sent a video. Thank you. Thank you. Or who was hanging in Newport Beach at some Yacht Club when he got a up close and personal video of Kyle, Richard, Luann Portia, Giselle, Theresa, Lisa Barlow boarding a yacht. So, Amanda, you were right. There’s no. RV, remember, I kept just driving the trip. I know, all right, RV, oh, we don’t know. Maybe there will be some sort of pretense of an RV. I blame Salt Lake City for that scary RV trip. And then yesterday, we had this whole intel from Kyle’s neighbor who had a production thing pasted on her block, and had to speak with production because she was concerned about what time the party would go to. The party was the all white party. There’s some footage from that. It’s, there’s a little rumor. Porsche posted something that was like, Don’t come for me, because I’m the person people call when they need hair. You You’re, yeah. I was like, you call people in.
You need something fixed. I’m the person that people call to fix things. We are not the same. So I know like that and a little cocktail or spy told me that Portia unfollowed Vicky gumbelson. Now I could see them butting heads. Absolutely did it. Was it Vicky that butt heads with Kenya, or was that Shannon on one of their trips? Maybe it was Kenya and Shannon, but whatever, like same energy, I remember who was on the what? Which trips? Have we seen? There was blue stone Manor. What was the one? Oh, right. Vicki Manor, Morocco, which? Yeah. So see, right. So, okay, so Okay, so it wasn’t Vicki, maybe it was Shannon, or maybe it was another housewife, yeah? One of, like, the, I don’t want to say older, but you know what I mean by that? One of, like, the OGS, yeah? And also, just like, older in age, although not that Kenya is a kid, but Kyle, like, did an Amazon live or, I don’t know what she was doing, but someone sent me a clip, and she was like, let me tell you, I don’t know how I’m gonna make two weeks she goes. It’s one thing. I’m used to dealing with the personalities on Beverly Hills. She’s like, but now you got to deal with all the ins and outs of, like, inter city drama and like, she’s like, I’m exhausted, and that was two days in. Do you feel like they, like somebody, like a Kyle, for example, feels the need to kind of go in and like, at least, if they’re not, they don’t watch all the shows, at least watch highlight reels and like, kind of study up on these other women. You know, I feel like that’s almost like a polite thing to do, or No, I feel like Kyle’s very informed. First of all, she’s like the consummate professional, I feel. And I feel she’s also so in the world that she knows who everybody is. Everybody on this trip is very relevant. I can absolutely see Vicki being like, hyped that she is back in business, full time, orange holder. You know, we don’t know what comments were made over the years when she got cut. We don’t know the in the inner workings of this. And I could just see her coming in and ruffling feathers. And I know that Portia is somebody who can get her feathers ruffled. I think there are also people who like attention and like screen time. So there may have been, you know, a method to their madness, but I can’t wait to see it. And I’m sure there’s got to be something like there’s all of these women are alpha HBIC have bitch in charge from their own casts, so then seeing them all come together on this trip, there’s got to be some there’s got to be some jockeying, and who’s the alpha of the alphas? Oh, yeah. So that’ll be fun to see. So what A source told me was they are nervous about the ice storm headed to Atlanta. So I think they may go to Miami. Let me say where I should have screenshot that message. Hold on. Let’s say they’re supposed to do Atlanta, Thursday to Sunday, Miami, Monday to Wednesday, and then New York City, Thursday and dorinda’s Friday, Saturday finale. This weather better not ruin it. This person said, so they might flip it, yes, yeah, I love just that. We’re getting so much great tea coming. But in those poor producers, they’re already dealing with all of these crazy women, all of the travel schedules and the you could just imagine half of them not having their like, flight reservation, like, you know what I want, and then, like, the people, and then there’s just little people who legit, can’t get out because they’re stuck right, like, the from wherever, because even if you live in, say, I don’t know, in California, and you’re trying to fly in for a flight, or you’re in Miami, or trying to fly in for dorindo’s party, And they’re not to mention, like, when your flights yes and so like across everybody is trying to reschedule their flights during times where they’re having to maybe switch to Miami from Atlanta. Like, oh, what a mess. God, God speed and Bravo highly. Consider giving all of these producers a raise or a bonus or something, hazard pay? Yes, oh my gosh. So, yeah, so the party at Kyle’s was yesterday, and then we’re hearing that there will be themed parties in each city at each stop. It sounds kind of like they’re nostalgic to each city. You’ll know what I mean in a second, although the Gilded Age one, I feel like maybe we just more of a nod to Roni in general. I think she ours. But Burke shears is Rony, right? Because it’s Dorinda. And what better place, no gilded age than in like, Palace style house, like, oh my gosh, women in Regency dresses. I I cannot wait. So the themes are Lingerie in Miami, go and OC which we remember that part was the 80s party that already happened, yeah, the all white party Beverly Hills, which was yesterday at Kyle’s alter ego in Atlanta. I.
Gilded Age in Berkshires. I love it. I just and like, the parties are alcohol fueled. The women are vying for screen time, especially the ones who are only popping up in their city. They want to, like, leave their mark. It’s gonna be good. It’s gonna be so good. I don’t think we spoke about this last week, because I think we got it right after we recorded, but we got some names for Ronnie. We know that cameras are going up any minute. Erin leachy posted, she had breast surgery, so she’s recovering from that. So I feel like I didn’t see her post. What kind of surgery did she say? Oh, I she said a lift. But I she has been very open about the fact that her, she and you, she’s even like, showing pictures like and wrote like when I used to have big boobs and stuff like that. She’s had four kids. Yeah, four kids. Some women’s breasts grow with that. Some women’s breasts shrink with that. So I think it may be like a lift implant situation. Funny enough. Lizzie savetsky, who, if you guys have been around long enough you will remember that she was originally filming the reboot. Had a real big fallout with brie. What the hell’s her name? Brynn. My God, you see how fast it goes. You don’t remember the person’s name. So I’ll find that T I’ll repost it for you guys. But her husband is one of very top plastic surgeon, and Aaron went to him. It says fans will be happy the email we got subject wealth, fans will be happy with Erica Hammond joining Ronnie, as she is married to tech billionaire Annie said, but I looked up his name is encore, Jane. Jane j, A, I n, is how you spelled it. A built rewards. You may have heard of this company as many podcasts we listen to have ads for it as a credit card to pay your rent. Also, Daisy was at Kris Jenner’s birthday party and goes everywhere with Martha. It seems that, allegedly, they are more friends than more friends than just her makeup artist. So Martha will definitely make I don’t think that meant no, no, not romantic friends, yeah, no, they’re, like, good friends. Like, she’s not just her makeup artist, like it’s her girl, yeah? Like, Tracy does our ads for our pod, but she’s our first our friend. Yeah? She’s not just, like, just the girl we talk to when we need it. Says, I know the newbies seem young, but the difference is this time that Roni will have more wealth, unsure of Haley’s status or if she’s married, but her father is a big plastic surgeon, so she grew up wealthy, at least. And another cocktail or chimed in and said, Oh my God, my friend from college is friends with Erica, the rumor knew Roni housewife, so the cocktail is friend and husband went to their wedding in Egypt. It was the most insane wedding I’ve ever seen in my life. They got married at the pyramids and had fireworks there. Lance Bass was there and performing in sync songs. And Robin Thicke was also there, performing. They had their guests for a full week in Egypt with insane activities planned every day I was following along in real time, and can’t imagine how much money they spent on that wedding. No, I leave it hard to us. I know, seriously, I looked it up. They actually seemed like a really cute couple. So Erica is actually really interesting on her own. She used to be in the WWE,
like the a wrestler, and then she’s, she co founded rumble boxing. Oh, wow, yeah, yes, yes, I know who that is. And then, like, and they’re, they seem like a really cute couple together. And, like, they met literally at a class, and he asked her out, and they went out, like, directly after their class, like in their sweaty clothes, and then they just seem cute. So I’m excited for her. She seems like a good she seems like a good casting choice. I am also manifesting an invite to a wedding like this wedding for both of us, because I wouldn’t go to a wedding for a whole week. I think I told this story before, but the family.
NCIS wedding I’ve ever been to was at the Plaza Hotel, and I was six weeks post, like, six weeks post partum, and we got the invitation. It came like, delivered by a person, like a courier, and it was a scroll, okay? This was a colleague of my husband who came from wealth and also married into a very wealthy family, very nice people. We didn’t know them well, but, you know, was a colleague, and so I was like, I don’t care if I have to wear a potato sack covered in sequins. Are going I remember. I distinctly remember my mom and my mother in law coming over, because they’re like, Okay, well, this baby is, like, fresh out of your womb. And I’m like, and remember, it was my second, right? So I’m like, I don’t care. Give her a bottle. I’m on my way. I love it, and it was fantastic. Oh, it was worth it. But I have never been invited to a wedding in Egypt at the pyramids. No, I’m man if I’m working on it for us. So yes, please. We’re also hearing a lot this week about what the future of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City looks like, oh, and I have to tell you something, we get a lot of true stuff in our email, and we get a lot of bullshit, and we got something that I don’t believe. I have checked with sources. I have zero truth to it. Just this morning, we did. It was a real email address. Amanda reached out for more details, but the person is claiming that Jen shot is showing up on the road trip. I don’t believe it, because Andy has said on a number of occasions she won’t be back, and so has the head of unscripted television for NBCU. She has also said it as well. Oh, we did get that email. I personally don’t believe it. We also got an email. Okay, so Rumor has it that Whitney is out next season. To me, it does make sense. A while back, we shared with you guys that they were definitely casting and that we heard there would be some sort of shake up. You know, ratings are really good, so a shake up is risky, and it certainly would not look like a reboot. It’s risky, because you don’t want to mess up a good thing, but it’s also necessary to keep things fresh, right. Whitney makes the most sense. Obviously, Britney makes a lot of sense. She recently said yesterday on radio Andy that she will never film with Meredith again. Is that her acting like she wasn’t not ass backed, I don’t know, but I could see her not being back. I could see Whitney not being back. What about the rumors about Bronwyn that were coming? Well, this week, I’m gonna get to that. But I wanted to also point out the network was very unhappy with Whitney’s behavior at the Bravo com when she was so drunk. As a matter of fact, it’s not that, whatever they call it, watch what happens live, live, or whatever from film that bravocon is not even available on peacock. Oh, so if she’s lucky, it’ll be a demotion. But I wouldn’t be shocked if she’s out all together. The rumor that Bronwyn is sir is quitting. The second we got this email, I posted it, and at the top I made a note. I was like, I don’t believe it. I think she enjoys the show too much. She’s got this storyline. Now, why would she quit? The absolute only way I’ll get to that, my opinion on that, what? But Andy actually came out. He did not deny the Whitney rumor. I also love how Andy, like, literally, basically reads our emails on his shows, but doesn’t name us. Andy give us a shout out. We love you. But he denied the bromwyn. He was like, there’s no truth to that. But he didn’t deny the Whitney one, and we posted him at the same time. So yeah, a little bit more evidence that we’re right. But well, I mean, this is one of those like things. I’m like, sometimes I don’t really like our tea. I mean, we obviously still share it, but we don’t always have to like it. I can see Whitney, and I do think like, unfortunately, because of the way that she acted at bravocon, if she was on the bubble, that certainly could have pushed her off. Could have been kind of the straw that broke the camel’s back for her. I would be so sad if Braun was out. I also am having a harder time believing it, because I think, first of all, she’s going to need the money now that she’s in the platform, now that she’s separated from Todd, and we also know here within cocktail that he’s wasting no time getting out and dating her. The pictures that we shared a couple weeks ago there, let me read this email that we got, because this is one piece of intel that we’ve gotten from. You know, we’ve gotten some other stuff as well. Says word on the street, Bronwyn and Whitney are leaving the show on their own accord. Expect three newbies. Bronwyn might be convinced to stay at Braun if Bravo offers her things, and they might, because she’s been a favorite filming end of February, so we still have a month to go. So Andy has publicly denied the Bronwyn rumor since we posted this email, my thing was, and I, like, discussed it with a source who didn’t have specific Intel, but they were like, Okay, let’s, like, think about In what world this could be true. And what we came up with was, the only world this could be true in is if she wanted to get back together with Todd. Yeah. And.
He was like, okay, then you have to leave the show. Okay, she would do it for that. Or my source said, if she wants to secure her financial future, and Todd doesn’t like her being on the show, but they remain split, he could sweeten the pot for her. So okay, sign this. NDA agree not to do the show. You still have your Instagram platform, you still have your like fashion platform, because she’s really very visible in that world. And yeah, I could totally see Bronwyn doing similar to what Rena has done. I could see her even working for a network as an in like an announcer capacity, like on the right carpet. Oh yeah, you know what I mean. So I was thinking maybe she had an opportunity like that, and Todd was willing to sweeten the pot for their divorce. Those were the only I don’t think she would just be like, I’ve had enough of the show, right? I agree. I don’t think so either. My hot take is, and I’m probably gonna get some people complaining about this, I think Meredith needs to go. I think she’s unreliable. I think she is absolutely not, not forthright. Is getting really good at manipulating situations, playing some things, some cards off camera, and then different ones on camera. I think she’s gotten really good at not answering questions, as we saw on the most recent on the most recent episode of the reunion. And then she’s also really good at not being accountable. So it’s, it’s really frustrating to me, because I am firmly in the camp that she acted inappropriately on the plane. Now, was she like, was she actually screaming? Was she like, doing things that the flight attendants had to get involved in? Maybe not. But was she, can you still bully somebody and hit the back of the seat and spill wine on somebody without the flight attendant seeing Yes, because now she’s blaming she’s like, well, I did have to get up and go to the bathroom, and Lisa was asleep, and so you know, the shaking of the seat and the spilling of the wine was when I just had to, like, use the back of her seat to get out of my seat to go the bathroom. I’m like, Okay, I don’t know.

I do think it would be smart to bring somebody, at least another person in, because we are starting to see this kind of cementing of positions of some of the women on one side versus the other, and we know that never ends well on a house our show, I agree with you about Meredith 100%
as far as her being unreliable and her manipulating. I mean, what about during the reunion, when Andy asks her, did you have a drink before you got on the plane? And she’s like, I will answer that, but first I’m going to launch into an accusation about the fact that, because Brittany used a manicurist where she wrote a review, very clearly, the manicurist said, if you write a review for me, since you have such a big platform, I’ll do your nails for free, right? And Meredith turned around and said, This manicurist is an anti Semite. Said Britney should know this, or she knew that Brittany knew she was an anti Semite. So that makes Brittany an anti Semite. And Meredith thinks that Britney was mean to her, because Brittany’s an anti Semite like she took so many different leaps. And I personally think number one, Meredith, of all people, knows what a strong accusation that is right. Number two, it was such a leap from the manicurist making a comment that could certainly be viewed as anti semitic. I don’t know why was it never brought up in the season. Meredith totally deflected and tried to flip the conversation. But moreover, Meredith took no accountability. She insists she was talking about her feelings to her friend Lisa. The reality is I agree with exactly what you said. It was intimidating behavior meant to make Brittany feel lower, less than and make Brittany scared of Meredith
require physical touch. Yeah, you know what I mean. Don’t forget, they had been bullying her the entire trip. Yeah, she Meredith was throwing water on her every time she said the name Jared, they threw the stuffed animal off like they were blatantly making fun of her for flirting with the staff, which, that’s okay, fine. But when you put it all together like they had been systematically and you guys know, I am not a Brittany fan, but I am not. I don’t like to see bullying, and that’s what they were doing. They were all doing it, but especially Meredith. And to your point of the class is becoming cemented. You know, a couple seasons ago, and once again, I, too was not a Monica fan, but they all stood in solidarity and said, We won’t film with her. And so Monica was off the show, and they are attempting to do that with Brittany. At some point, Heather and Whitney decided to bring Brittany on their side, because they turned against Meredith and Lisa. But yes, I do think bad weather needs to be broken up. I would be perfectly fine with Heather being the one to go. I almost prefer her to Whitney. At this point. I know it’ll never happen, because the network loves Heather, yeah, but also Brittany. I mean, she’s no great shakes either. I mean, at the reunion, she tried to say that Seth confided in Jared that he has two girlfriends, and that’s her evidence that Seth cheats what like Brittany does herself no favors. We know that, but they really just feel that they’re better than her, and feel that they can do what they want when it comes to her, and they do, and just for that reason, I think she’s not a strong enough presence, and she doesn’t fit on the cast, because you need women who can match energy raw and win came out of nowhere. She matched energy. Yeah, we will remember that Meredith tried to run Angie off the show too, but Angie is a strong personality, and she matched energy. Brittany is not able to do it, so therefore she’s not a good fit. And do I believe that Brittany is an anti Semite? Absolutely not. Do I think she is probably not smart enough or too careless to look into what that person the person’s reviews before she attached her name to that person? Yes. Do I think Meredith actually had a reason to be upset about that? Yes, but the way that, like you said, she really spun it. And also, like, why wouldn’t you just answer the question? I will tell you not every flight, but I would say 90% of flights that I get on, I have a drink before, because I’m not exactly a nervous flyer, but it definitely takes the edge off. And like, it’s not even, even if you have the smoothest, easiest flight ever, like, you’re still getting.
Shoved into an airplane, sitting next to all these people, yeah, or coffee. Like, it’s better, I don’t know. For me, it’s just like, why wouldn’t you just answer the question? Because most people, like, now, I wouldn’t say most people, but especially on a vacation situation, when they’re gonna get on a long international flight, most people would have a drink. And there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just odd, again, like weird behavior from her. And the other thing that Meredith really doesn’t realize is she may be able to out talk and spin Britney and even the other women in an argument, but the audience sees it. We see through it, just because, in the moment you won, you’re not winning, we don’t trust you. You’re I love that. You said unreliable, because that’s exactly how that’s the perfect wording, right? I don’t know I and it’s pretty it’s pretty evident, yeah, it’s clear she’s popping a pill and taking a drink. And it’s like, you know what, I would respect more if she said, You know what, I had a glass of wine. And, yeah, I do take whatever to fly like whatever it is, ambient Xanax or whatever, and I had a glass of wine. So yeah, and so yeah, my speech was a little slurred and I was a little loopy. It’s not something I have a problem with. It’s not something I do all the time, but when I’m on a vacation with friends, and also, the other thing that we know as people who drink, I personally am not a person who takes a pill, but I do know from friends of mine that if you had drinks the night before and then you’re getting on a plane and take an Ambien, it’s like the shampoo effect. It’s like if I had a lot to drink the night before and I go to brunch, that one Mimosa is going to put me over the edge. Yeah? So, like, why not just say that? Because she’s too good to, like, admit any flaw, right? And that doesn’t make a good housewife. No, it just doesn’t feel, I feel like she did to us as an audience, what she does to the other housewives on the daily right, like she literally did it right in front of our eyes, instead of just answering Andy’s simple question, she goes into this whole thing about Brittany being anti semitic Andy, of course. Like, imagine the nerve of trying to trip up Andy. That’s nerve. I mean, these women made him walk off the stage. Yeah, and I don’t blame him. I don’t blame him. Like the constant yelling over each other was really getting on my nerves, too, because I’m like, I want to hear what they’re saying, and I can’t understand it. And even with subtitles on, I still couldn’t understand what everybody was saying. It just, it’s frustrating. So I think we’ll see with the casting. It seems like there is a lot of wealth in Salt Lake City, but it seems like there’s also a shortage of people who want to put their lives out there. I think right now, anybody who is an active Mormon probably wants to stay away from the show, but maybe there’ll be somebody like a Meredith or even a Bronwyn. Because I think Bronwyn too, like they both lived half and half, you know, half in Park City, half and wherever else. Like, maybe there’s somebody else like that. And I know there are a lot of very, very wealthy people who go to Park City and the air and deer what’s it called? Deer Valley. Deer Valley, I think from Chicago, because there’s a direct flight. It’s really easy. It’s great skiing there, for those of you guys who are skiers. So maybe there’s somebody from Chicago who goes back and forth. We’ll see. Yeah, okay, what did you think of mauricio’s cameo on Potomac? Mauricio, it’s, why are you there? I think you know what? I think we loved him so much, and we thought he was this, like, wonderful, committed guy, and now he just seems so thirsty. He’s got this whole Playboy thing. He’s flirting with the Potomac ladies. We got an email that Kyle wasn’t happy about it, which we didn’t need to get because she also did an Amazon live. I don’t blame her. It’s her network, it’s her colleagues, it’s the housewives, yeah, it’s her world. Like, what are you doing here without Dorinda? What are you doing here without Kyle? Is what I have to say. I think Giselle handles it Okay, her saying, and then in the after show, like, doubling down and being like, I would have already slept with him if it wasn’t for Kyle. It wasn’t for Kyle is a bit much, but at least she didn’t sleep with him. I don’t know. I feel like the trip wasn’t going great. It wasn’t super exciting, maybe, and the network reached out and, you know, they love something for the sizzle reel. I guess it was harmless, but Kyle did do an Amazon live, and she was like, mighty, like she said, I don’t care. I don’t care. I didn’t watch it. I just heard about it, but was basically saying how thirsty Ashley was. And in my head, I’m like, listen, Ashley is one of the hottest women around. So sure she was very unhappy about that. And also, Ashley has zero loyalty to anybody. Never mind Kyle. Yeah, Aspen is not that big. Of course, Mauricio didn’t just happen to see them. You know, who knows? Maybe Giselle was like, we need to spat this rip up. She could have texted him or production. More likely, I think he did not act very appropriately again, because that’s Kyle’s world, and definitely not with Stacey and Ashley. Because, you know, Stacey was really pushing her and encouraging her. And I think we’ve all watched enough of Ashley on Love Hotel and on housewives like she thinks with her hoo ha, and sometimes only her hoo ha. Can you imagine? I mean, the wrath of Kyle, and really, most of all the other housewives, and all the other housewives.
Fans, it would the wrath would have rained down on Ashley. I think Giselle, I think Michelle, probably said to her, like, exactly what you just said, like, you do know that fans will hate you, like, this could be really bad for you. Yeah. And, I mean, we all know Ashley had not showered that day because there was no water at the house. Like, clearly she wasn’t thinking this through, not thinking with her brain. We got that email about we, I don’t think we even need to read it. Read it, but she didn’t like that. He said he’ll be alone all night, which I agree like that. Okay, I do want to talk about the rest of the Colorado trip. For those of you guys who know quite a few people haven’t really been keeping up with Potomac, because I agree it was a little bit boring. Pick it back up. The trip. The Colorado trip, I think, has been really good, total mess, but good TV. So Angel Massey, who is a newbie, her husband’s name is Bobby. He was an NFL player. She’s a WAG, and says that she’s a top tier WAG, I believe, is the words that she uses. She lives in Colorado with her husband. We know that she was supposedly.
Trying to move to Potomac, which is why she’s on the show. They live on a house on 35 acres, gorgeous house in LARPer, Colorado, which, according to the show, is about an hour from Denver, closer to Colorado Springs, which is a much smaller city, and they’re on 35 acres. So it’s kind of out in the middle of nowhere. The crazy thing is they get to Colorado, she only invited Tia and Jackie to stay at her house. Puts the rest of the women in this large, not that nice, very isolated house somewhere on top of a mountain, 45 minutes away from where they’re staying. And she didn’t tell anybody that this is the way it was going to work out until they all get to the house, then the water, you know, the water issues start to happen in the house, like the water isn’t really working, or it’s a dribble at this point in the last show, you know, all the women. Then, after they get there, you know, then they go to Angie’s house for a welcome party, which is a lovely party, but it’s over by seven. And so can you imagine inviting people to come all this way, not being upfront about where everyone’s staying, and then saying, everyone come to my house for this party, a lovely, truly lovely party, like beautiful decor, and looks like they had really amazing food and drinks and whatever. But then she’s like, okay, Show’s over at 7pm Well, considering I didn’t want you guys to leave when you were at my house, no, I can’t. I was like, you can’t go. I know it’s one in the morning, but stay. I don’t believe there are really no Airbnbs closer to Angel’s house, yeah, and this was the same trip that cocktails spotted Giselle and everybody checking into the four seasons, right? Oh, yes. So that must have been because she put them in a house with no working water, yeah, exactly. That’s where we’re just all gonna like, why don’t you just book something? Listen, I can understand if for whatever reason, you don’t want to host it at your house. Book something nice enough and big enough with running water for everybody to stay in, yeah, exactly, and then still have the party at your house. But no, it’s people want to write, yeah, like my kids live here, like we can’t have, like, a million people and like people will understand that. I think Angel was trying to have a gotcha moment. I think it fell flat. I think Angel as a whole, although I think her husband and her seem like a very cute couple outside of No, oh, I am not a fan of Bobby. I don’t think so. I think Bobby seems like a jerk, but I think that he’s nice to her. No, I don’t know. I honestly, I hate to admit this, but I will. I’m watching Potomac, but I’m scrolling on my phone, guys, I know it’s the Wendy of it all for me, it’s the Karen of it all for me, I have the ick. I’m watching. I don’t know I get it, because I’ve been in Ivan the same. I just, I have this weird feeling about Bobby and that, like angels doing too much to be, like, We’re such a great couple, because, like, he his the way that he like and he really does not like her being on housewives, he is not supportive of that. And, like, he is very gruff with the other women and like. So this is feeds in, actually, perfectly to what I thought was the weirdest thing about that party, you know, angels, like, taking them around, showing them everything. Bobby had some friends, some male friends who are all sitting around a fire pit. Like, understandable, right? Like, let Bobby have some friends. Since this is all these women coming and it wasn’t like a party for like 100 of their friends. It was beginning of the season. I did like Bobby, but you’re you’re reminding me the episodes coming back to me now. So these men Okay, are they introduced? The ladies are all standing there, and they introduce the women to his friends. Not one of these men smiles, stands up, shakes the lady’s hands. Nothing like, I can’t even remember if they even said a word, like one of the men was like, wearing sunglasses and just like, literally intimidating, very just staring them down. It was if I had been in one of the housewives positions, I would have been like, I think I’m gonna call an Uber I do not feel uncomfortable. I do not feel comfortable. And again, this is just what we saw. We don’t know what happened that got edited out. It was so weird. And I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about this. I mean, I think because people are checked out of Potomac. But I agree with you, Bobby wants to have some friends over to keep him company. Fine for him, for them to be rude to their guests. First of all, it also clearly shows that they were talking smack about the women before they got there. Yeah, because otherwise the women are largely single, and they’re all beautiful. So why aren’t these men more welcoming? 100%
100% I just there’s no way. We had an email a while back. Angel’s out. I mean, there’s no way. She’s no kidding. But I also don’t understand why women, and I’ll never understand it, who clearly have husbands who don’t have the personalities for reality TV, like as an example, like you have Whitney and Justin. Justin is the personality for a reality TV Seth has the personality. Then you have other people, like this guy who just really.
But that’s the thing. I don’t know if he’s a terrible guy or he’s just really not a guy who wants to be on TV. Yeah, you’re right. It’s hard to tell what his motivations are, but like, then he’s just, like, weird about her being with a kid. I don’t like their vibe. I don’t like it at all. So the next morning after the party that ended at seven, so angel had sent somebody over to fix the water at the house. While the ladies were at her house the next morning, the water completely stopped working, so not even a drip, the women were not able to shower. And the craziest thing is, Angel finds out, not because she was checking on the women, but she finds out from Jassy, who was texting with the ladies who were staying at the other house. Again, a big miss by Angel. It’s like she only cared about the parts of the hospitality that the cameras would see. And I do have to say, I think Giselle acted abominably as well, because I think there was a way, there could have been a way that she could have said, Okay, we’re changing where we’re staying, we’re going to the four seasons. Understandable that she then is like, so mad and so mean, and I don’t again, like Giselle, all the ladies are right to be mad at Angel for not checking on them and seeing how things are going. It’s like she banishes them to this house. Is like, you’re on your own kids. But I think Giselle is very in the wrong. I think they’re both being jerks, honestly, because Giselle was, I think Giselle was right to move everybody, but I don’t think she was right to be like, I’m taking the rest of the trip over. All the other stuff you have planned isn’t happening, which is kind of what she was trying to say at the end of the show. I guess we’ll see what actually happens. I think it’s always interesting, because I think a big piece of that is, angel came onto the show and had an expectation that everyone would be treated equally, and that’s not how it works in housewives. Odie, believe there’s OGS like Giselle, believe there’s a hierarchy. Gisele also carries a chip on her shoulder with the new people, and you see that because her friend Robin was put out. And so when she has someone like ANGEL or even Stacey, who she doesn’t feel are as good for the show. I’m this is just how I feel. Giselle feels she like, is angry, like this person is very conserving of Robin’s spot at a point that’s where, like, production of the network have to step in and be like, Hey, listen, like you got to work with these people, because what came first the chicken or the egg with Angel. Like, the first couple episodes, Angel was excited and nice, and then she became a drip and a drear. But I do feel like Angel and Ashley were really unwelcoming, and they’re very strong personalities, and people kind of fall in line with them. And so there’s, like, you know, there’s, I’m not a huge I don’t think Angel’s a great addition, but I also think that she didn’t get a fair shot as many first season housewives coming on to an established cast, do not the chips are stacked against you. If I’m Giselle and production is having that chat with me, then I would just point at Tia to be like, Well, look, we’ve embraced Tia. We like Tia and like, we were nice to Kay and we are nice to Jassy. Like, I’m sure that that’s what the conversation is. And I actually, but I do think that angel, she’s just, I feel WAGs get a harder time on these shows. Yeah? Well, they do have this sense of, like, I’m married to a professional athlete or a retired professional athlete, and so they act away. And the other women are like, Oh, please, yeah, there’s, you know, yeah,
here in our house wise. So anyway, those of you guys who haven’t been maybe following as closely the last couple episodes have been good, so definitely worth a watch.
