Bronwyn Newport is learning a lot about herself during her first season on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” — and not all of it is flattering.

While appearing on the December 9 episode of “Lovett or Leave It,” Bronwyn admitted that watching herself on screen has been a humbling experience.

“It’s been really interesting getting to know most of the women on the show and really interesting getting to know myself,” Bronwyn said. Seeing her behavior play out made her notice patterns she hadn’t clocked before — including how fast she is to repeat things that maybe should’ve stayed private.

The realization? She might not be as loyal as she once believed.
“I end up kind of spilling the secrets all the time,” she admitted, adding that hearing her castmates say they didn’t like that about her was eye-opening.

Meredith Marks and the Plane Drama Fallout

One of Bronwyn’s biggest regrets involved discussing Meredith Marks with Whitney Rose amid the now-infamous plane drama involving Britani Bateman. At the time, Bronwyn thought she was doing the right thing — but watching it back changed her perspective.

“I’m like, ‘I’m kind of a snitch actually. That isn’t so fun,’” she confessed.

Bronwyn also questioned how the situation escalated so dramatically, especially with no concrete evidence. Still, she noted that most of the cast shared similar versions of events — except for Meredith and Lisa Barlow.

Where Bronwyn took issue wasn’t necessarily Meredith’s behavior, but her refusal to acknowledge how others felt. According to Bronwyn, accountability doesn’t mean admitting guilt — it means recognizing impact.

Bronwyn Newport on Cameras, Marriage, and Guarded Housewives

Filming hasn’t been easy for Bronwyn, especially with serious health issues in her family and ongoing marital challenges with Todd Bradley.

“I’ve been a little defensive of myself and my family,” she admitted, explaining how the spotlight magnifies already difficult moments.

Still, Bronwyn said she chose vulnerability over self-preservation — something she doesn’t believe every Housewife does. She hinted that some women present a more “controlled” version of themselves, creating a divide between those willing to be real and those focused on optics.

The Lisa Barlow Rift and Who Bronwyn Trusts Most

Bronwyn didn’t hold back when it came to Lisa Barlow. While Lisa has said they were only acquaintances pre-show, Bronwyn thought they were actual friends — and that difference still stings.

“She wants to be right on camera,” Bronwyn said, suggesting that Lisa prioritizes audience perception over repairing real-life relationships.

The breaking point came when Lisa discussed Bronwyn’s family on camera — something Bronwyn felt crossed a line.

As for where she stands now? Bronwyn says she’s closest with Mary Cosby, Whitney Rose, and Angie Katsanevas — in that order. Mary, in particular, has become a surprising source of comfort.

“Mary might be the softer Todd in my life at this point,” Bronwyn shared, adding that Todd and Mary actually get along — which says a lot.
