Garcelle Beauvais’ A-List Dating History Is Basically a Hollywood Flex

Before Garcelle Beauvais ever joined “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in season 10, she was already well established in Hollywood — and dating within it. Long before Bravo fans got to know her, Garcelle moved easily through elite celebrity circles, crossing paths with athletes, actors, and power players.

Now single and focused on family, Garcelle rarely dwells on her romantic past. Still, when pieces of it come up on Bravo or in interviews, fans are often shocked by just how star-studded her relationship history really is.

Garcelle Beauvais’ Most Talked-About Relationships

Garcelle’s first marriage was to British actor and producer Daniel Saunders. The two married in 1991 and divorced in 2000, sharing one son, Oliver Saunders. While the relationship stayed mostly private, Garcelle has spoken openly about how becoming a mother shaped her life.

She later married talent agent Michael Nilon in 2001, and the couple welcomed twin sons, Jax and Jaid. That marriage ended in 2011 — and not quietly.

On RHOBH, Garcelle revealed she discovered text messages between Michael and another woman and reacted immediately.

“I’m a hothead,” she admitted during season 10. “So that night I wrote an email… and the subject was, ‘What does Tiger Woods, Jesse James, and Mike Nilon have in common?’” The message leaked, and the split became public fast.

Garcelle’s dating history includes some serious Hollywood names. In 2022, she confirmed she once dated Michael Jordan while appearing on “If We’re Being Honest with Laverne Cox.”

“He was so nice,” she said. “A tall chocolate man… and we hit it off.” When Jordan invited her to Hawaii early on, Garcelle declined, laughing that she didn’t know him well enough yet.

She also dated Eddie Murphy after working together on “Coming to America.” “Every girl on the set was feening for Eddie Murphy,” Garcelle said. “And we dated… It was off and on. He’s lovely.”

Another revelation came during season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” when Garcelle confirmed she once dated Will Smith — after his divorce from Sheree Zampino. “That’s why we can be cool,” she explained.
