Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais finally crossed paths again, and yes, Sutton broke the silence first. The two “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars have not spoken for months following their televised fallout and Garcelle’s exit from the franchise. But the awkward tension didn’t stop a quick exchange when the two found themselves side-by-side on a Los Angeles red carpet in October.

Sutton talked about the moment during BravoCon 2025, confirming she wasn’t about to pretend Garcelle didn’t exist.

“We sure did,” Sutton told Entertainment Tonight. “I said hello [to Garcelle]. That was just happenstance. But, yeah, I said hi.”

Fans will remember that the women were inseparable for seasons—until the season 14 reunion and Garcelle’s sudden departure. She unfollowed most of the cast and later confirmed she had quit the show after a five-year run. Even Sutton admits the friendship ending hit differently.

“I’ve been very sad that Garcelle and I are not besties anymore,” Sutton said. “I’ve never lost a friend… It’s been very interesting.”

Sutton Stracke Reacts to Jennifer Tilly Blaming Her for Garcelle’s Exit

The drama didn’t stop at the reunion. In the season 15 trailer, Jennifer Tilly dropped the line heard around Beverly Hills: “That’s why Garcelle left, because it’s always all about Sutton.”

Sutton says she was blindsided by the accusation—especially since she and Jennifer have been friends for nearly two decades.

“How dare she say that?” Sutton recalled. “I don’t know why she said it… It stung, and it was very surprising for me.”

Jennifer later walked back the comment in a separate interview, admitting she didn’t remember saying it and that her “feelings were hurt at the time.” She also insisted she wasn’t trying to end a friendship and hopes Sutton and Garcelle work things out.

“They’re truly good friends,” Jennifer said. “It’s not a friendship for the camera.”
