Heather Dubrow is setting the record straight — or at least as straight as one can at BravoCon, where fans want answers faster than a Housewife can toss a glass. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star gave an update on where she and Terry Dubrow are actually living these days, following years of cross-coastal real estate headlines, multiple moves, and a mansion renovation that turned into a Bravo-level plot twist.
Speaking on the Bougie, Not Basic panel at BravoCon 2025, Heather wasted no time clarifying the question fans always ask: Are the Dubrows officially in Los Angeles, or are they still rooted in Orange County? As it turns out… the answer is a little bit of both.

Moderator Michelle Collins kicked things off with the question everyone (and their group chat) wanted answered: “How are things in Orange County? Or are you in Beverly Hills now? Where are you living?”
Heather responded with her signature cool confidence. “So, we’ve been back in Los Angeles for the last couple of years,” she explained. “But, you know, our roots are in Orange County, and all my girls are there, so, you know, we go back and forth.”
And because no Dubrow conversation is complete without a little luxury-talk, Michelle and Heather immediately launched into a friendly debate about shopping. Michelle argued that South Coast Plaza is basically a national treasure, while Heather politely disagreed — in the most Heather Dubrow way possible. “South Coast Plaza is very good,” she said, “but come on, you can’t beat Rodeo Drive.”
Over the past few years, Heather and Terry have orchestrated one of Bravo’s most dizzying real-estate journeys. After selling their Newport Beach mansion for a record-breaking $55 million in 2022, the couple bought a sleek penthouse in Los Angeles. At the time, Heather told Entertainment Tonight, “With two kids at college, we’ve been thinking about our next move… sometimes, the universe shows you the right direction. Change is exciting!”
Then came the Beverly Hills mansion — a $16 million project that turned out to be more headache than dream home. The Dubrows began renovations, only to realize the scope (and cost) was not worth the stress. Heather addressed the decision to walk away during season 19, saying, “First, I thought of this as a failure because I can’t imagine not seeing the project through… but the more I think about this house, the more I realize how not viable it truly is for our family.”
Despite still owning a home in the OC, Heather doesn’t seem to be expanding her Orange County footprint anytime soon. In fact, the season 19 finale confirmed as much, referencing her infamous polygraph moment about wanting to join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The episode’s update: “She doesn’t plan on buying a new place in Orange County… And that’s no lie.”
