Vicki Gunvalson is officially back in the fold, and the OC just got a whole lot louder. The self-proclaimed OG of the OC made her triumphant return at BravoCon 2025, where Andy Cohen himself surprised her — and the entire audience — with the moment fans have been begging for since she left full-time status. Yes, Vicki is reclaiming her orange for season 20 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.

The moment unfolded during The Bravos awards show in Las Vegas. Vicki took the stage expecting a little light whooping it up, but instead got a Housewives-level plot twist courtesy of Andy, who walked out holding a sparkling orange and a grin that said, “You’re welcome, Bravoholics.”

Vicki Gunvalson Reclaims Her Orange for RHOC Season 20

Andy asked, “Vicki, would you join us as a Housewife for season 20?” in front of a screaming crowd and a live taping of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” Footage circulating on social media shows Vicki becoming emotional as she hugged Andy before giving a very enthusiastic “Yes!” The crowd erupted, proving that even after all these years, fans will always go feral for a Vicki comeback.

Vicki first joined the Bravo-verse in 2006 and became the face of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” the city that launched the entire Housewives franchise. She held her full-time snowflake — well, orange — through season 13 before transitioning into a friend role in season 14. Andy addressed the shift in a 2019 Us Weekly interview, saying, “She’s been on the show for 14 years. That is an unprecedented run on a scripted show, on a reality show, anything.”

After season 14, Vicki stepped back completely, later telling fans on Instagram, “I will always be the OG of the OC, but it’s time to say goodbye.” She popped up as a guest in seasons 17 and 18, proving Bravo can never quit her entirely.
