‘Summer House’ Insiders Confirm Kyle and Amanda Going Through a ‘Challenging Time’ — But Cocktailers Already Knew

The sun may finally be setting on one of Bravo’s longest-running relationships — and Cocktailers already had the tea. Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, the couple who built a brand, a marriage, and a decade of drama on “Summer House,” are now facing serious turbulence behind the scenes.

A source close to the duo told Page Six that Cooke and Batula are “going through a challenging time,” though the insider insists the pair are not “on a break” and remain committed to working on things. Another informant claims they are currently living apart — a detail that has fans raising eyebrows, considering how much of their marriage has been built around shared projects, shared filming, and shared stress.

Their reps have not responded to requests for comment, but the timing is noteworthy. Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, married in September 2021 at her family’s New Jersey home, with co-star Carl Radke officiating. Viewers watched the entire journey — from the proposal in season 3 to the pandemic postponements to the picture-perfect season 6 wedding.

Of course, anyone who’s watched “Summer House” knows the honeymoon phase evaporated years ago. Cooke admitted to cheating on Batula shortly before their engagement, and infidelity rumors have floated around ever since. Still, they’ve always managed to present a united front… until now.

Season 9, filmed in 2024, showed Batula voicing frustration about living in Cooke’s “shadow.” She has since launched her own swimwear line, while Cooke continues running Loverboy — and moonlighting as a traveling DJ. Add in disagreements about where to live and when to start a family, and suddenly this latest relationship bump doesn’t feel so shocking.

Whether the pair can rally or are headed toward another Bravo breakup remains to be seen. One can only assume this relationship drama will play out on the “Summer House” spinoff, “In the City,” which is currently filming.
