Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney can finally focus on sandwiches instead of subpoenas. The “Vanderpump Rules” alums have scored a legal win after Penny Davidi dropped her lawsuit over their West Hollywood sandwich shop, Something About Her.

Penny Davidi Dismisses Lawsuit Against Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney Over Something About Her

Katie and Ariana opened their long-awaited shop in May 2024 to huge crowds, with lines wrapping around the block. But just as their culinary dreams were taking off, Penny filed a lawsuit alleging breach of contract.

According to court documents, Penny claimed that she, Ariana, and Katie were supposed to “jointly engage in the business of developing, creating, owning, operating, promoting” the restaurant and related ventures. She also alleged she was promised a starting salary of $7,500 a month, which would eventually increase to $10,000. Penny asked the court to enforce that original agreement, but Katie and Ariana denied her claims.

Us Weekly reported that Penny informed the court she was dismissing the lawsuit on October 2, though certain undisclosed conditions had to be met. The case had originally been scheduled to head to trial in March 2026.

The financial fallout between the trio played out during season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules.” Penny wanted to be a partner, while Katie and Ariana offered her a salary plus 10% of the profits for that location — a deal Penny wasn’t happy with.

Now, with the legal drama behind them, Ariana and Katie can focus on growing Something About Her without a lawsuit hanging over their heads.

“Vanderpump Rules” is streaming on Peacock.
