“Southern Hospitality” season 4 hasn’t even premiered yet, and Michols Peña is already warning fans to prepare for chaos. From friendships being tested to off-camera drama spilling over, he says this season is unlike anything the cast has faced before.
Michols Peña Promises Drama in ‘Southern Hospitality’ Season 4
“I literally can’t explain it. Every week [or] every day, something new happened,” Michols told Us Weekly at the Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea Awards in New York City on September 17. “It was just very explosive. There’s a lot of tea, a lot of drama. It was a disaster.”
Even though filming wrapped, Michols seemed excited to celebrate with castmates TJ Dinch, Maddi Reese, and Joe Bradley. “At the end of the day, you’ll see some of my other castmates come by later,” he teased at City Winery. “I’m just surprised that we’re all here together right now.”
Noticeably absent? Emmy Sharrett, who has had her own headline-making year.
Emmy and Will’s Relationship Drama Continues
Emmy announced her engagement to Will Kulp in May, only for him to announce two months later that he was walking away from reality TV. “The new season has started filming, and unsurprisingly, I will not be a part of it this year,” Will shared on Instagram in July. “I will likely never film a second of reality TV ever again.”
Even without Will in front of Bravo cameras, Emmy’s relationship was still a hot topic. “I feel like this year, our friendship was definitely tested so I didn’t really get to film with her a lot,” Michols admitted. “It’s probably new for her, because she’s used to having him by her side.”
Michols also hinted that fans will see a different side of him. “I had a lot of crash-outs this season, and I think I’m gonna dread watching all of it back, honestly,” he said. “I didn’t really hold back, I definitely shared my opinion a lot more. Did it get me into trouble? Maybe, but we’re all here. We’re alive.”
As for surprises, “Vanderpump Rules” alum Ally Lewber revealed that she filmed a little during a visit to Charleston, South Carolina. Whether she’ll stir the pot or just do horoscopes remains to be seen.
Until then, fans can rewatch past episodes of “Southern Hospitality” on Peacock while waiting for the season 4 trailer to drop.
