Kylie Kelce isn’t here for clickbait when it comes to her family — especially brother-in-law Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift. On a recent episode of her “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” podcast, Kylie explained why she hasn’t publicly gushed over the couple’s engagement.

Kylie Kelce Says She Doesn’t Need to Comment Publicly, When She’s ‘Already Talked to Them’

“I have made a very conscious effort to not discuss Taylor and Travis on this podcast because news outlets, tabloids and AI, quite frankly, like to post,” she said. “They’ll often pull quotes from whatever I say in reference to them.”

Instead of feeding the headlines, Kylie chooses to keep her relationship with Travis and Taylor behind the scenes. “I have my own close relationship with them that no one else is involved in,” she explained. “I don’t need to come out here and make statements when I already talked to them.”

That doesn’t mean Kylie isn’t thrilled. Far from it. “I think it goes without being said [that] I am so incredibly happy for them,” she shared. “We are so excited that they are taking this next step. The girls are so excited to get another aunt.”

Kylie also made it clear she doesn’t need to publicly congratulate the pair for the cameras. “It’s okay that I didn’t congratulate them in the last episode,” she said. “I don’t always have to comment on what they’re doing in their lives because I can just text them and talk to them about it.”

Of course, fans have still gotten glimpses of her excitement. Kylie previously told “Good Morning America” that daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and baby Finn are over the moon about having Swift in the family.

Swift herself has nothing but love for Kylie, calling her “the realest, the smartest, the coolest” during an August appearance on “New Heights.”

So while Kylie may stay quiet on the mic, it’s clear she’s cheering just as loudly from the sidelines.
