Teddi Mellencamp is not here for Gretchen Rossi’s excuses about Slade Smiley’s lack of employment. On the latest episode of her Diamonds in the Rough podcast with Erika Jayne, the formerReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar made it clear she doesn’t think Tamra Judge is responsible for Slade’s career woes.

Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne Aren’t Buying Gretchen’s Excuse

On the September 8 episode, Gretchen suggested Tamra’s repeateddeadbeat daddigs may have ruined Slade’s reputation and cost him work opportunities. Teddi wasn’t having it.

“So Gretchen blames Tamra for the reason why Slade hasn’t worked in 10 years, she said flatly.

Erika quickly chimed in:She did say that he had lost work because of the bad things that Tamra had said. And if you just Google it, you could see.”

Teddi wasn’t buying the narrative, pointing out that Slade’s long-running issues with child support and even an arrest are public record.

It’s out there on the World Wide Web. I don’t think it had anything to do with Tamra, she noted.

Erika added that being on a reality show doesn’t make someoneunemployable.”

Ultimately, both women dropped the hammer: Teddi said Slade shouldget a new job, while Erika doubled down, quipping,Or get a job.”
