169. RIP Jax’s Bar; The Valley Season 2 reunion; Shannon vs. Katie on RHOC

But also, like speaking of my vagina, wait a minute, is a Bri is he breech? Yeah. Oh, my daughter was breech, but they flipped her. I had a I had a version. Oh, I hear but you did C section the first time. Yep, I’m C sectioning again. Yeah, I did a vaginal and I was like, if I can avoid a C section, I will, but I will tell you, for the people, that I shouldn’t get all the way into it, but I will myself was my son was bigger, so my doctor was like, We could definitely do this, but you have to go to the hospital because, God forbid, you’ll have to have an emergency C section. So I go to the hospital. I’m all hooked up. It took about 12 seconds. It was the most painful 12 seconds of my life. I can’t explain it’s like a horror movie where they rip your guts out. But yeah, I got my vaginal birth at which was, I think in my experience and everyone’s different, it was better than what my friends told me, the recovery from a sea so, yeah, well, I mean, the only thing I could say is my mouth down south is so tight, because nobody’s going through out of this
but
her mouth down south. I always feel like such a prude when Tracy’s on, because where do you even come up with this thing? Even I need to probably speak to a professional. But whatever, I also have to say, my vaginas also finally recovered from watching the Efron brothers playing golf topless on Instagram. I watched it like 100 times. I Okay. Gun to head. We have to choose, are we choosing Zach, or are we choosing Dylan? That’s not okay, all right, it’s Dylan for me. I’m gonna choose Zach because I’ve loved him since the beginning. He’s been on my list. So I’ll take Zach. Okay.
I think I have to go Zach. I it’s so hard, like I could have come out Dylan, but just in this moment, I’m feeling Zach. You know why I think seems a little rougher and bad boy to me? Oh, my God yes, you know. So I feel like, if I’m going to have a rendezvous, I want it to be a little spicy. And I just feel like I don’t think I could leave Dylan after Zach. Is that what it is? And like their shoulder and their Yeah, I know, like their shoulder areas, right? Their traps. I also find it very sexy on women. I feel very sexy in a tube top, or any like tank top, because I love like the upper area. I need to work on mine. Once I could see my collarbone, I’ll to top it with you. I mean, you’re pregnant, yes, lady, you’re growing a human so random, but yeah, but Oh, I agree. It’s sexy. The what is like the whole decolletage? Is that what they call it? Yes, yes, I agree. Okay, so we’re gonna talk about the valleys reunion, but first, just with some topical news, because I’ve been chuckling about this, I can’t help but wonder, on Sunday, we posted the sign from the jaxes bar coming down. Do we think that’s what forced Jax to announce on Sunday that he was no longer going to be affiliated with the bar. So here’s what he said, I made the decision to end my partnership with jaxes. It wasn’t easy decision, but it was the right one. Right now my focus is on my sobriety and mental health and staying connected to my bar is no longer in line with the priorities I’ve set for myself and the life I’m working towards. So first I want to say he made no such decision. We watched the first part of the reunion, which we’ll, you know, chat about, but he was discussing his bar and how he was so involved with the bar. So all of a sudden, he made no we were told, and I don’t think anyone needed to tell us this, but they said, as you know, Jack’s bar is essentially a pop up within an already existing bar named Rocco’s. Jax just had a revenue share agreement. He was the face of the bar after his showing and dismissal from the valley the backlash from fans, they parted ways with him. It wasn’t his decision, yeah? Like, come on, Jax, you didn’t get that girl pregnant in Vegas. You didn’t sleep with Kristen, and it was your decision to leave the valley and walk away from the bar like the man’s cookie is crumpled so much he could snort it. Yeah?
Is that too soon. No, and I don’t feel bad for him, especially after watching him last night on the reunion, gross. Oh. I mean, all I can think of when I see him now is a crusty D. It’s a long story, and I’ll have to tell you guys the story sometime. But when I was a teenager, I went through this training where they showed us what advanced STDs look like, which is one of the things that I always say, like, save me from it’s scary. It was literally scared me straight. Got my pants on.
But all I can see now when I see his face, now that we know that, we know he’s been screwing half of LA but we didn’t know he was doing it without a condom, and all I can see is crusty penis now. Oh,
it is that I don’t. I didn’t think that that was a thing that people who slept around just don’t what I don’t it makes no sense to me. But before we get into the reunion, we had a cocktail attend one of Sheena’s book tour events. During the event, Sheena says she regrets not telling Ariana ahead of filming about Brock’s affair. She said she wouldn’t have brought it the air, but she should have confided in Ariana, because she’s the only one she trusted 100% Well, this is a double whammy, in my opinion, so the first part of that whammy
is the fact that and we discussed this last night on our zoom. Thank you for all you guys who came. We had so much fun. So Sheena expects that she could have told Ariana about Brock’s affair, expected Ariana to keep it completely off camera while Ariana was reeling from having to film with her ex boyfriend of 10 years, who had an affair with one of her friends. Like Sheena’s delusion is so real. I think if she had told Ariana, Ariana maybe initially wouldn’t have said, you have to bring this to camera, but as the pressure came on, and if Sheena decided to go with her and La LA’s whole thing of pressuring Ariana to talk to Sandoval, I think Ariana would have been like, Are you kidding me, your husband had an affair that we’re not discussing. You know what I mean? Like, at some point any person would have to.
Crack and say that, I think she knows. I think she knows that in some logic, I think she knew that, which is why she didn’t tell Ariana. Does that make sense? I also think that, I think it could be a lot of things, but I think that a big piece of it was, like it was soon, and so she know what was in her head. Like, you know what? I’m gonna wait on this. I am going to make it so that I can say we’ve worked things out so people can’t pressure me to leave him right, because time passes and we’ve accepted it, and we’ve gone to therapy, and we can say those things if I wait a few months, and then next season on Vanderpump Rules, I get the Ariana treatment. I honestly, I I think that all feels like a flimsy excuse, because if she truly did trust arian 100%
then she she should have told her. And I think Hindsight is obviously 2020 and it’s generally easier to speak about your regrets much later about not doing the hard but the right thing than it is to actually do the hard but right thing in present day. Yeah, like the math is a math thing, with her response for me, like the Sheena we saw on season 11 was a jealous friend who didn’t get Dancing with the Stars, who was hiding her own affair, and was probably thinking she could have rode that wave too, but struggled to keep it a secret, only in fear that, like, she’d be taking the spotlight away from Ariana, which was huge. And she was pissed that Ariana was getting so much like lemonade. And that’s why like, and that’s why she started like, siding with Sandoval, because in like, what world does a woman who gets cheated on? Give a cheater a chance. She had her eyes on the storyline, definitely not her friend at all. 100% I agree. The second part of the double whammy for me. And what stood out, and I would love to hear what you guys think about this, was when she said Ariana is the only one she trusted 100% what about Lala? Your girl, your Biffy, your ally, the one you teamed up with to go essentially against Ariana that last season. You really have to wonder about Sheena’s thought process on the one hand, when she says these things, but then I have to always come back to the point when people aren’t like Sheena, and they aren’t thirsty, and they don’t give it to us. We say that they’re boring and they shouldn’t be on our television. So do I think she’ll do anything for relevancy and fame? Yes, but we need her hypocritical and delusional because it would be a boring show to watch otherwise, and it’s the secret to her longevity. Is her hypocritical, delusional ways. I wonder though if her and her hypocritical, delusional ways have a spot on the valley, I will say, because I said this last week, I think maybe on the bonus pad, I respect Sheena’s game for keeping herself on TV so long,
but she still might be easy. Yeah. I mean her, like, the delusion with her is real. I mean, even her on the valley, she sides with Janet. She’s always seems to be on the wrong side, whether it’s Janet or Sandoval. But, like, birds of a feather, obviously. But I will say one thing, going back to vaginas, if I, if I do die and have to come back as anything, it would definitely be Sheena. She’s vagina.

that you would choose something that you know will still be my B EC, in the next life,
whoever is real, I really hope you and I can move forward amicably and not get a fight if the calm thing, no, no. I mean, I’m dying, just the vagina, not her. Like, let’s detach. I’ll be honest. Number one, she said somebody from the notebook, you and I both know it was not Ryan Gosling. It was probably that guy who was on entourage who’s also cute. I’m not knocking him. I’m just saying it wasn’t Ryan Gosling. You know, I didn’t see David Beckham on there. He’s married. But, like, that hasn’t stopped. So, like, I didn’t see anybody that made me truly jealous. Jesse Metcalf, while Metcalf while he’s gorgeous, Eddie Cibrian, while they’re gorgeous, they’re also like, corny and, yeah, no, not anybody was like the guy back in the Desperate Housewives days, though. So that was, I think that was a pretty big get. Yeah, part Thomas Gardner, yum, yum. But you guys, we have to, and I saw Sheena in person, and they’re all gorgeous on TV, and they’re all gorgeous in person, but in person, Sheena took my breath away. I’ve said it on here many times. I was up close to her at Bravo con, and I just, like, literally went, like, that’s how pretty, like, she is, so pretty. Oh, wow, yeah, I believe it. So we let’s talk.
About the reunion, I know that we wanted to say something before we get into it, though. I feel the same way. I think we’ve talked about this on other podcasts like I do, see both sides of the coin. His ass will side definitely shows through, but he definitely has an appealing side. I thought saying like that he felt financially overwhelmed after the divorce showed some vulnerability. And you guys like that is a real feeling. I think everybody feels that way going through divorce. But nobody really, really talks about it. So I really, actually appreciated that he brought that up. I can tell you, just based on my DMs that so many of our listeners say exactly that about Jesse, like I know that he has this awful side. I’m not. Nobody thinks Michelle is lying, but there is something so likable about him, I will say for me. Last night, he said a few things that made me go, oh yeah, like, oh, there’s, there’s that side. And so part of me says, because we all have, like, ingrained, I don’t know what to call it. I mean, we’re girls girls, but we all have a thing, right? And like Michelle, isn’t able to sugarcoat her frustration, and she comes off as uncaring and hard, which she said last night. And so I don’t know, I’m very conflicted, because I feel the same way about Jesse, and I think that if we met.
Jesse in person that he, first of all, I find him very good looking. Yeah, I think that that doesn’t hurt. He’s got this, like, Boy Next Door look with the little Boston accent, and then he, like, tries to be like, Mr. Capri like, he’s very he’s very attractive, especially to like, women of our age, right? So I see everything with Michelle, too, but maybe it’s the fact that I know that Aaron dumped her, and I feel like she was kind of duped by Aaron, because as I said last night on the Zoom and as I posted to my stories, I know that he dumped her, so I don’t have specifics, but I don’t I do know that he broke up with her, and I’m sure we’ll hear details on season three. And what one of you guys said to me was B it makes sense, because a lot of us believe that they were together while she was still married, even though she had emotionally left that relationship with Jesse long before she still was married. And whether it was emotional or emotional and sexual with Aaron, certainly they were communicating and she was into him while married. And one of you said people who get with married people often leave when the married person leaves their spouse and like that kind of made me feel bad for her, because she was in a marriage that made her unhappy. I’m not saying it makes Jesse the worst person in all of this, but she was unhappy in her marriage, and so her mother was sick. She put all of her eggs into this Aaron basket, and he left her high and dry. And I really hope that the side we like about Jesse is sort of not gloating about that. Yeah, you know, like, I hope that he’s like, I’m sorry. Like, I hope that he gives her some grace that would make me be like, You know what, Jesse is, a good guy. Yes, he likes to look rich. Yes, he overspends, yes, he wants to be this California guy who’s really a middle class guy from Boston, which is, I think, what we all come back to, because I could almost relate to that, right? Like, if you’re a middle class person from Boston or New York or anywhere in America, and you move to LA and you’re hanging out with Hollywood, and you start selling, like, really big real estate, it is kind of easy to see, and now your wife does very well too, and you’re kind of overspending, and then covid hits, and all that slows down. I don’t know. I almost feel like it’s a relatable situation, not that I’ve been in it, but I could see easily how it would happen totally. And he has a tongue ring, so, you know, he’s a giver. Ah, sorry. Hats out. But yeah, I mean, this is like a three episode reunion, so there’s still so much to get to. I do want to say that even though Jax is owning up to things, I definitely don’t buy it. There was, like a brief time in history where I thought he really changed after his dad passed away. But obviously we saw that didn’t last. I love Brittany calling Jack stick dirty. I don’t love Zach at the end of the couch, and especially like after Jasmine. That makes zero sense, but he is loud and he’s there. So I love that. I’m really anxious about the Mia and dark Danny part when they get to that, like I’m already you said me, yeah, I can’t do it because of the pregnancy brain. And it’s I seriously, I did that last of it, Nia and Nia, yeah, yeah, I’m anxious about that too, actually, because I just don’t feel it’s deserved. And we see Jasmine go I didn’t like your apology really, because his apology was good enough for you to do business and try to sell them a house. Like, are you? Are we over it? Are we not over it? I feel like Jasmine’s really weaponizing it. I’m not saying. I know it’s an inappropriate action, but then don’t be around him. Be like, I don’t I can’t be around somebody who did that, and we’re not friends. I don’t accept your apology. I totally don’t do business with them, and don’t tell other people that you guys are fine and you’ve moved on, like either you have or you haven’t. I am right there with you. Tracy on not believing that Krusty has changed his ways. I just keep seeing the same thing from him instead of, you know, he keeps telling everybody that he’s taking accountability for his actions, his drug abuse. But he blamed covid, he blamed Vanderpump Rules for firing him. He blamed financial stress. He blamed his wife for being pregnant. Like the man can’t say I have a problem. It’s still everything else is fault. Yeah, totally, I hear it. I think I don’t want to waste too much time on the reunion, because there are two more parts, yeah, so, I mean, we have so much yeah, I just want to say he did say his job and his son were the most important things to him. I mean, Sir, your job shouldn’t be listed, and don’t say that before your son. And like, we all know, like, for him, the job is just getting money being on TV, no matter how gross he is. Like, my prediction is he’s gonna turn his life around, not for his son or himself, but just to get back on TV, he’s gonna use his social media to paint this perfect picture of himself, even showing him, like, failing a little bit and getting back up to just be vulnerable. And then, like, I feel like the network execs will like, see he’s sort of getting better, and like, ease him into like, a traitors before he gets on, like, the valley and me.
Maybe he has a good season, and then he’ll fall back into his old ways. One more thing I’d like to agreed. One more thing I’d like to point out Lori K and I never say sources, but in this case I will, because she was not a source, but I knew from a reliable source that he was back in rehab. They mentioned it on the reunion, and Laurie K fought with me tooth and nail. She also said she never slept with him when she did that. So since she lied about rehab, I’m just gonna assume she lied about everything. So stay out of my inbox. I’m not interested in people who and like I went back and forth with her, because stay the hell out of my inbox telling me something isn’t true when I have receipts. Lori, yeah, she needs to go to the gyno ASAP, too. Oh, oh, and it was in a dirty bathroom. So it’s like, not only are you getting a sexual disease, like staff infect we are in our 40s. We no longer bang in club bathrooms. I’m not saying I ever did. I’m just saying,
okay, oh my god, let’s I gotta move on from Tracy, brings it out. I don’t know. Sorry. No no, I, I think I really enjoy hearing about other people’s sex lives. I’m not but not jaxes. No prestige. So Tracy, we haven’t had a chance to talk to you about McBee dynasty. I’m not sure if you’re watching, but I know you know we had Steven on his interview was great. B and I just keep talking about how the show just feels like unhinged old school reality TV. We now have a lot of cocktails on board, and it’s funny because I keep seeing them come through on Discord and they’re like, oh my god, I just finished season one. I’m so excited to start season two, like two to a T everybody is saying that. So curious to know kind of if you’ve had a chance to watch it. And then I want to talk about the most recent episode and that huge fight in the Lake of the Ozarks with kala Stevens, girlfriend, not girlfriend, and Cole his brother,
so I don’t watch. However, after listening to your pod, I’m definitely putting this on my maternity leave list to watch. Like, Steven’s voice is as hot as he is, and like, I didn’t know anything about the show and all the stories he shared, I was like, All right, I am in. And also like, I’ll need to be watching hot cowboys working while I’m in baby jail, so I’m in. Yeah, Cole discussed me when he said, I don’t care how drunk you are, it’s just who he is as a person. When he said, in front of the mother, his in front of, like, girlfriend, girlfriend, right? The mother child, his pregnant girlfriend, who was in a relationship with, supposedly a monogamous one, that he would and he said, So Kala is dancing on Steven, their boyfriend and girlfriend. It’s his brother and the brother’s girlfriend. And he goes, I would eat that ass if it was on me. I mean, like I had to pause it and rewind it. I was like, wait a minute, what so vile? Felt terrible for his girlfriend, but like his girlfriend knows who he is. They’ve been together since high school. This is like, like you’re if you’re gonna be with him, this is the only type of woman he would be with, is somebody who gets mad, cries and then forgives him two two minutes later, which is exactly what she did. The fight with calla and Cole, Kala was very clearly wrong, like they’re all just having a conversation, and she’s goes out of her way to point out that Steven has an easy life. This is all while she had just the scene before, asked his mother to co sign an apartment for her because she wants to live in a fancy building in Dallas,
so but then to Christy, their mom, who’s like a martyr, right, long suffering with the husband and these out of control boys. Why, on God’s green earth, would you as Steven’s mother, who says that the girlfriend, Kala is poison for the family, and it’s a toxic relationship, agreed. Why would you co sign? Why would you co sign an apartment? Just say, you know, listen, unfortunately, I’m not willing to put myself out there. You guys have a very volatile relationship, and I’m not gonna pay your lease when you guys break up. So I think it was on the show that Chrissy, it’s the mom said she was actually willing to help with the apartment if it meant they could get rid of Calla. So I think that made her feelings about calla pretty clear. I think Christy is coming off as pretty a class act, because she’s still like, she’ll say, you know, oh, I yeah, I’m here more because your dad’s not around. But she doesn’t when she’s asked about the mayor, you know, she’s still, she doesn’t talk with bitterness, you know, she and she doesn’t go into too much detail, and she’s, she’s honest. So I was like, I kind of, I kind of get that she, here’s the thing, I think. And we spoke about this on the Zoom, Amanda.
Yeah, yeah. I think part of the reason that she’s willing to pay college rent is because, or CO sign, whatever it is, is because she knows that Steven had too much pillow talk with her, and we all publicly now know about the father’s indictment. So I think it’s also a way to keep her quiet, because there is a comment that somebody sent to me that the mom deleted but wrote, somebody left a rude comment to Christy, the boy’s mom, and she wrote, so I stick my nose in their relationship by telling Jesse he needs to stay home with Allie. But you’re also saying, I think my boys do no wrong. Which one is it? Also, please explain how I treated calabad. Did you know that for the past three years, I tried to get close with her, paid for everything for her, employed her two different times, and she wouldn’t come to work. So basically, had egg on my face while she wanted nothing to do with any of us, except for the benefits. Let’s see what else. Oh, I’m currently paying for her 15 month lease on her high end apartment in Dallas, because she was too good to live in anything else. Oh, and we also pay for her car. It’s not even in her name, it’s in our name. So why are you paying these things? You’re paying these things because you’re managing the damage that would come if you stopped, yeah, because she stuff, yeah, she does. She does. I would probably do the same, yeah, in her situation, though, especially being lying. I mean, yeah, yeah. So it’s guys definitely watch it where, like, I would also be pissed with my son. I mean, I’m not saying she isn’t. Oh, I think she is. I mean, I think he brought this woman into our lives. You told her too much. She is not a member of the family and like, and she tell people when bodies are buried, dude, she he was proving herself over and over again. You know, she keeps telling everybody who she is, calla does,
and nobody you know, Steven keeps taking her back. So, yeah, but again, these people make good decisions. We wouldn’t watch them. So it’s so true. So on to OC you guys know it comes on Thursday nights. We record on Thursdays, although today is technically Wednesday. So last week’s episode had the blowout with Shannon and Katie at I keep calling it like I think that party that Heather threw was so strange, like totally going off topic here for a second. But like, all the weird drapery and that huge room for like 30 people, it looked like it was a very nice party, but it looked I kept thinking, I’m like, they must have to do that for television, because otherwise it gets too loud because it I was, like, she spent $150,000
on that. Like that didn’t make sense to me, but anyway, so Shannon flips out, tells Katie she’s the worst person ever because Shannon or Katie recorded Shannon without Shannon’s permission when Shannon was freaking out at the gallery shoot, Katie denies showing Alexis, but Alexis told Heather and others that she had seen a video of Shannon freaking out, acting unhinged at a photo shoot. What do you guys think about this holcitch? So the first thing that came to mind for a lot of us was that Shannon, years ago, on the trip to Ireland, recorded Kelly without her permission. Shannon was asked to some Watch What Happens Live. She addressed it by saying production specifically told them to get footage once cameras were down. And Shannon feels the photo shoot was different because it was not a recorded event. It was just a photo shoot. My opinion, it’s a work event. You’re working as a housewife. Just because cameras aren’t rolling, they certainly could, and they do take clips and show them on social media and stuff, right? So a work event is a work event. I don’t see the difference. Obviously, if she showed it to Alexis, that changes things. I just feel when it comes to Katie, does it make her some awful, terrible person, as Shannon said, worse than Tamara, worse than John Jansen, I don’t think so. In my opinion, Katie isn’t having much success trying to be a vindictive housewife, but she’s not doing anything that the other women haven’t done so far, right? I don’t know. I just Katie’s having trouble spitting it right. I think that’s what the problem is. Like she’s really floundering. If this was Tamara or any number of housewives across the franchises, and they were confronted, they would lie better. They would spit it in their favor, like, she’s not very skilled at being a twisted bitch, and it’s showing
totally, I don’t know, like with Katie filming Shannon. I really think it comes down to the John Jansen and Alexis of it all for Shannon, like right? She had to pay a lot of money to John. She has PTSD from the ring camera allegations, but I think she’s more upset when she’s painted out to be the exact person John and Alexis are trying to make her out to be. So where I’m siding with Shannon is she hears her friend, quote, unquote, hung up a business.
Call to film her melting down, and then showed her arch nemesis. So like the pain is so fresh, and Katie knows that now this is something obviously that would have never came out if Tamara didn’t say anything. So also, you have a friend doing things like this, not even for a storyline on the show, which is very shady, Katie, so I do get why Shannon said you were worse than all of them, because it’s like Katie found the knife that was in Shannon’s back and decided to insert it back in. Yeah, yeah. I and I agree with you both. Tracy, I agree that it was just extra mean of Katie to share the video with Alexa, with Alexis, because Shannon was in an active lawsuit with, you know, not with Alexis, but essentially with Alexis and John. And I think that was extra low. I think the issue with Katie is she’s just not that likable. She says and does the wrong thing, literally, at every turn, she is not winning the audience’s love. And I did want to touch on something we had discussed before, so I try to always admit I’m wrong when I’m wrong about something back last year, when Joel Kim booster, the host of love hotel, after filming, posted about Shannon being a monster and being awful to production, I said here, right here on the pod, that I didn’t believe it because we hadn’t heard that. And my thought was, I feel like we would have heard it. I feel like Bravo would not be asking her back if she was really that terrible. So I want to admit that I was wrong, because from a source, we were told it’s no surprise that the reality that Shannon is awful to production is coming to light now. Bravo kept it quiet when it came out from Joel Kim, the host of love hotel, as to not affect that series debut, Shannon is expensive, and they have Gretchen and Joe the OGS, whose fans are taking great interest in and they’re willing to work for basically for free. Expect Shannon to get the Vicky treatment. She won’t be full time. She can come back as a friend of or cameos with a huge reduction in salary, or she can choose to leave altogether. She won yours over with the Alexis debacle, but is quick, quickly losing them by attacking Katie and all of the rumors about her being awful to production her full time. Days are numbered, and that’s a cocktail exclusive if you’re not a subscriber. So it’s probably your first time hearing it. If you’re not, I believe it. It totally makes sense to be and again, we’re at the start of OC. We have to see fans reaction. We have to see how the season plays out to ultimately, see what Bravo decides. But she is expensive, and to the point of this source, the OGS are working for much cheaper, and people are heavily engaged. Yeah, but if we take Shannon out, does OC have a dramaless show? Like as hard as Shannon probably is to crew, she does make good TV, and she’s still that underdog who got cheated on, got left for another. Housewife, gained weight, lost weight, trying at love. Like we still want to her to succeed, right? And like, I would hate to have her demoted or off the show, and then she finally finds love. And like, we miss that whole storyline. I
don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, cocktails can tell me, but I’d be actually be okay with the demotion. I think she’s been heavily featured for a long time, and there hasn’t been a lot of evolution. So I would love to see her happy. And I like I like that she’s bringing the guys from love hotel to events, and I think that’s all great, and I’d like to see that stuff. But I do think there’s drama. I think the revival of Gretchen and Slade, she knows how to get in the mix Gretchen so she will bring the drama. There’s no word on Tamara being demoted for better or worse. I know people have opinions on that, but if Shannon were to not be as heavily featured or not there, Tamra would find someone else to make drama with. That’s true. I agree with that. That’s true. She’s skilled at that, because Shannon doesn’t create drama, Shannon reacts to drama. She amplifies it. You know, all Tamara has to do is just bring that to somebody else’s front door, yeah, and and let them react totally. I could see it. I do. I do. Think it is getting a little i There’s something about Shannon that I always just like about her, and that, you know, you guys have heard me stand up for her, obviously, no, not during the DUI, but in general, there’s just always been something that that I liked about her. I am finding some of this stuff to be a little bit boring, and I’m I’m getting it just feeling a little formula.
I’m getting I’m getting a little bit bored with that, so I would like to see something different myself. I like the word formulaic, formulaic. Yeah, so let’s talk about Atlanta, because there’s a ton of rumors going around about casting for the next season we had the reunion. So Shamia, who we have known not in the spotlight, but for a long time, was finally in the spotlight. Started out the season super strong, didn’t have the best showing at the reunion. So I want to see what you guys lady, what you ladies think about her and Portia and their friend fight and where you guys stand? Well, for me, I was very shocked, because I did wonder what Portia was getting at when she posted about their mothers, and I didn’t remember or realize. I don’t know which it is that Shamia, his mom and Portia his mom were very good friends, which is likely how the girls became friends, which does make it sadder, because it makes we know they always say they’ve known each other a long time. But for me, as somebody who has friends that I grew up with that are or even that I met, you know, as an adult, but that I’m close with their parent. And you know, our kids are also close, it is an intense bond, different than you know, your kid just making a friend at school, and you wave to the mom, right, right. So Shamia, his mom, according to Portia, bought Porsche’s mom’s daycare out from under her so Shamia claims Porsche’s mom and her mom were not friends. When she bought her daycare that was having financial difficulty, Porsche claims that the women were friends, and that’s the reason that they’re no longer friends. Either way. Super shady to, even if you had a Fallout, it’s super shady to business is business, but it’s your friend’s livelihood and she’s having financial trouble, and you buy it, there’s nowhere else you can buy a daycare. And it shows, obviously, we saw Porsche’s mom kind of not be a fan of Shamia. This shows us there’s a lot of different layers, like just in a general way, although they stop themselves from getting any further into detail. And I do see Portia as condescending towards Shamia, but now that I have this knowledge, I kind of see it like, well, you know, Shamia, his family, had the upper hand for a time, right? I imagine this was pre housewives, or like in the early days, and Porsche’s mom lost her daycare business, and Shamia his mom bought it out, and so now Portia was on housewives, so she had something over Shamia, right? Because she was a star, and Shamia was like the back seat to that. But Portia lost her grifter husband. Shamia is thriving with her husband, who’s very wealthy. Shamia is now a full time housewife, so it’s back to Shamia having the upper hand. Do I think this friendship will go back to normal? No, it already has a lot of issues, some that were not even addressed. I think they probably could have stayed cordial if Shamia weren’t a full time housewife. But I think a friendship with this many issues with family members now, under the housewife spotlight, this was just bound to explode. Let me ask you guys both this, Do you guys believe that Portia did or did not want Shamia to have to be a full time housewife? I feel like she did. She even said, even Andy, I feel like confirmed that Portia asked Andy, like to get her on the show. Get her on the show. I don’t know if I believe that she publicly told people she wasn’t happy about it, because I think Portia is smarter than that, and wouldn’t want that to come out, because it would make her look petty. Do I think in her heart of heart, she wanted Shamia to have full time on top of her having the legitimately wealthy husband and happy life. No, I don’t think that’s something Portia, legitimately in her heart of hearts wanted. I mean, with the closet that has an elevator, stupid, I’m sure Portia, I think you might have a good point in the upper hand, lower hand kind of shifting back and forth. And I think when Shamia built that house, I think that might have changed some things too, so and especially with Portia going through a divorce, I don’t know. I get the feeling that maybe Portia did at one point want that, but that then she wasn’t super happy about it at the time. I think with the moms and the daycare history, I can see not only why there would have been tension, but it made a lot more sense about why Porsche’s mom was in Porsche’s ear about Shamia. Because I always thought that was really strange. Porsche’s mom came down so hard on Shamia for sharing the news with Portia about Drew and Dennis. I was like, I feel like any good friend would do that. So it seemed so strange to me that Portia his mom, was like, Oh, the messenger, yes, but I think that I Porsche has not been the best friend to.
To Mia, I see both sides. To a certain extent. I think they both need to apologize to each other and maybe do like, Ayahuasca or ketamine or something
to get through it. Yeah, well, it’s sad when, like, a long friendship gets in the dumpster because of reality TV, like the roots are so strong. So it does give me hope that they can, you know, get back to each other, but I think one of them has to not be on the show for that really to happen. Like the ego is real and the whole daycare thing was really shocking. It definitely put a little bit of a different light on Shamia to me, but I still love her personality. She came in guns a blazing. So, right? I Yeah, it’s complicated. Bring them both back full time. Let’s have it out. Somebody get the details of this daycare
and tell them to both stop talking on social media. I think that would actually help, probably more than anything. If they really are trying to get back to it, they’ve got to just make a pact to just okay, we’re not going to engage about each other anymore on social media, because I think that’s when stuff gets so much worse. Yeah? And no alliances. It’s not big brother, yeah.
Well, the Atlanta ruiner rumors continue to swirl. We had Kenya do a live today, and she put out some more rumors. She says that as of now, she’s not going to be on next season. Here’s the thing they’re offering her friend of she’s pushing back. She’s holding out for full time. Will that happen? I don’t know. Will she give in? I hope so, because there are public documents circulating that she is being sued by the landlord of her hair spa. She is in arrears for rent, I would say allegedly, except the documents are out there publicly. I also don’t think these videos are helping a network that’s already on thin ice with her. I think they’re probably pissed off she said someone from love hop, Love and Hip Hop is coming on now. I actually haven’t watched Love and Hip Hop in a minute, but I watched it very intently for years, someone in the comments said, Is it K Michelle? She said, Good, guess. So K Michelle is doing all sorts of hinting. For those of you that saw love in hip hop, you know that K Michelle is a recording artist, very big personality. Here’s the thing, I don’t believe that if K Michelle were actually cast, she would be posting pictures of her in an orange dress, and videos of her dancing, hinting towards coming on housewives, right? I feel like if it were true, she’d want to keep quiet and let it be true. But if it’s not true, well, yeah, I’m going to get my clicks. I’m going to get people on my page, people that may not know me from Love and Hip Hop or don’t follow me, because a lot of my followers either didn’t know who she was or didn’t care, and now they’re following her, and they’re watching her, and they’re clicking on everything. So yeah, I’m happy to tease it and get the clicks and have people talking about me, because there’s no risk of me losing a job that I don’t actually have, whereas if I’ve secured the positions as an Atlanta housewife, especially because historically, Bravo does not take from the MTV, VH one pool. They never did with the Jersey Shore, although it’s always rumored and all of that. So if they actually did go and say K Michelle is a big personality, I think she’d work with this group. Let’s use her. My feeling is this woman would not be teasing it so much, because that’s just my feeling. Because I think you’d have a contract signed, and I think you’d say, Hey, I work for Bravo at NBCU K Michelle, keep a lid on this.
Yeah, and that’s not what she’s doing. So 100%
they don’t. We’ve seen it happen a million times where somebody starts filming, they don’t announce it or even hint to it, so I don’t believe the hype either.
I mean, with Cynthia, that’s Cynthia. Oh, man, Kenya, thank you. Pregnancy brain, like, sometimes taking the friend role is like, the best move you can make. You get to see more good than bad. You get to win the audience back. Like, look at Cynthia. She saw like, was the voice of reason this season, and it just could pave a way back to full time. And I feel like she should just be, like, counting her blessings that they’re even considering asking her back. Like, I think she just should just kiss the ring, but that’s a really good point, Tracy, because the thing is, if you’re off the show, you’re off my radar. I don’t know about your salon. I’m not paying attention to you. I don’t care whether you’re on the show as Cynthia is, you’re a friend, you’re relevant. People want you on their podcast. Maybe you can’t talk about your business on the show because you’re a friend of and they’re not getting a cut, but I’m invited on two T’s, and I can mention it there you’re on the show, so I’m following you on Instagram. When you post your products, I’m more inclined to click them once you’re off. Bravo. Shows you are not relevant. And I think what some of the women are short sighted because their ego.
Yes, and I’m going to include Nene in this, because the rumors are still swirling about her, and it’s the same situation with the friend of hers full time they want that big Bravo check. But it’s an ego thing, because when you are relevant, you make your money through other avenues. Smarten up, stay on the show in whatever capacity, collect whatever check they’re willing to give you, and partner with brands and do these things that earn you different streams of revenue, because once you’re off my TV, I don’t care, and I’m less inclined to buy your shit totally. I couldn’t agree more. I think, I think Kenya. I think Kenya has had a real, real big blow to her ego. I’m I’m really bummed to hear that her hair spas and doing well, I’m not surprised to hear that, because we had heard that it hadn’t even after the incident. It didn’t really even open. So I would not be surprised to hear that. I just, I would, I too would like to. I’d rather see her on as a friend of just like Cynthia, just like you said, Tracy, then, then not. But I do want to talk about Charles at the reunion, because I love him. Phaedra saying she knew him this season on camera, and him being like, I don’t know you.
Maybe we were in the same room together. That doesn’t mean we know each other, and she was just laughing and smiling like Phaedra, you were being shady about him and his wife, and you got caught in a lie, and she played it well. She didn’t argue with them. Listen, he’s a basketball icon, and especially when you live in Atlanta, the athletes and recording artists that are well known are treated like how I imagine in England, the royal family is treated right? So everyone on the stage respects him to his face, but they talk shit behind his back, yeah, well, or they talk shit about the wife and like, I really don’t like that. I think that it’s a really good example about how women don’t do a good job supporting other women. But in any event, Charles showed up, showed out. We love him. Do you guys love heat as much as I do? I mean, did I tell you guys? I think I told you guys offline. And I also told my husband this. I had a spicy dream about Charles Oakley. Oh,
it was like he kept asking me out, and I kept saying, Oh, I’m married. I’m married. I’m married. But like loving every minute of him asking me,
I love it. Yeah, I was really happy to see him because I I think he might have realized the way he kind of came off during the regular season, especially like when they were in Grenada and he was not really wanting to engage. I was really happy to see him stand up for Angela the way that he did. I think he did it very well. He did not overdo it, like we see so many house husbands just come in guns a blazing, like he was pretty calm, and he kind of called people out, but not in a That’s so annoying way totally. And though where your husband’s at line was amazing, I think we all really need to take note when a relationship on camera is not all touchy feely and in your face, it’s probably pretty stable. And because the ones we see that are like perfect. They’re a hot mess, like, they protest too much. So he’s so a matter of fact, he’s great. Go New York, go New York. Go New York. Knicks. And he set a new goal for house husbands. As far as I’m concerned, I agree. Yes, agreed. All right, we love you guys. I guess we’re gonna wrap it up and get to the cocktail pod. Ah, I was pregnant. I was as pregnant as you were, because I have an October and a September baby. So I feel the only thing I will say, I never was very pregnant in winter. So I never had, like, you know, to find the clothes. It is nice. I just wore Moo Moos. I hope that’s what you’re doing. I legit wore Moo Moos. I’m just wearing, like, leggings and T shirts or, like, jumpers, no leggings. I didn’t even wear a pair of pants. I just literally wore, like, very wear dresses and fangs tents. I Yeah, when I’m out, I’ll put on a dress phone. I’m like, sitting at home in the air conditioning. I put on leggings. Well, that all right when I finish, when I was pregnant, I was just in my underwear and, like a T shirt. So you’re doing better than I did.
