The “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco” may have never aired, but according to Vicki Gunvalson, it left her and Brandi Glanville with more than just drama. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum recently claimed she believes she has the same parasite that Glanville has been battling—and she’s blaming it on their Bravo trip abroad.
Gunvalson shared her health concerns during a candid appearance on “Jeff Lewis Live,” where she revealed that ever since filming the unaired Morocco installment of RHUGT in early 2023, she hasn’t felt the same.
‘OG of the OC’ Vicki Gunvalson Opens Up About Her Symptoms
During her SiriusXM appearance, Jeff didn’t waste time getting into it: “Did you say you have a parasite and you blame Bravo?” Gunvalson laughed, but didn’t deny it.
“Well, Bravo, I love you. Please do not get me in trouble,” she said, before confirming that Brandi Glanville is suffering too. “Brandi is in so much pain. I mean, she’s got a very large parasite.”
When asked if she truly thinks the parasite came from the Morocco trip, Gunvalson was blunt: “100 percent. We all got sick when we went to Morocco, and it’s been two years.” (For the record, the trip took place in January 2023.)
She described her own symptoms as debilitating, saying, “My stomach’s bloated. I don’t feel good. I feel tired. I feel lethargic.”
She went on, “I don’t go poop. It’s very hard for me. It might be once a week, if that.”
According to Gunvalson, even her son Michael noticed a change. “He said to me the other day, ‘You are not the same since you’ve been back from Morocco.’”
‘Real Housewives’ Parasite Problems
Gunvalson admitted she hasn’t officially been tested for parasites—yet—but a staff member at her colonic irrigation office told her, “You have parasites. We can tell what’s coming out. You are loaded with parasites in your gut.”
She added that she’s been taking Ivermectin monthly to no effect. “I take Ivermectin twice, two tablets once a month, every month. It’s not killing it. I think this parasite likes to be in me.”
As for what she thinks caused the alleged outbreak? The food. “Every morning there was a buffet with fruit, pastries, and eggs. Covered in flies,” she said. “Even my production company goes, ‘Yeah, it’s pretty bad.’”
Despite her initial hesitation, she admitted to eating the food: “I mean, you couldn’t get around it. Every restaurant we went to is… flies. Flies everywhere.”
Gunvalson said that nearly everyone on the trip got sick, and she believes the footage would have confirmed it—if it had ever aired. “If it would have aired, we would have seen all the flies all over everything,” she insisted.

She’s trying to stay relevant.
4 years? You’re literally full of shit, Vicki. Drink what they give you before you have a colonoscopy. Parasite now gone. Carry on.
colon cleanses do not kill parasites
Why is everyone disputing this? This could highly be true. I had a friend visit Africa and when she returned started slowly getting progressively sick. Within 8 months she was dead.
Sounds more like poor diet and old age 🙄
Those questioning this- it sounds strange to U.S. Americans bc we don’t encounter it here often. It’s possible when visiting other countries. She could have eaten street food or could be the flies like she claims. It’s possible.
