After nine seasons of hookups, hangovers, and house drama, the cast of “Summer House” is finally spilling what life is really like behind the scenes. In a new interview with Bravo Insider, the current Hamptons crew—Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon, and West Wilson—broke down everything fans have always wanted to know, from chaotic packing strategies to who’s hoarding the Diet Coke.
How They Pack for a Summer in the Hamptons
Turns out, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to packing for “Summer House.” Prior to her announcement that she was leaving the show, Paige DeSorbo described Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s method as “insane,” explaining, “They literally come the first weekend and bring all of their stuff. So Amanda will bring a ton of clothes and just put them in their closet.”
Paige couldn’t imagine doing the same: “What if on a Wednesday I’m in New York City and I need that pair of shoes and it’s in the Hamptons closet?! I’d freak out.” Carl Radke agreed, saying he brings a large roller bag every weekend and rotates items. “Because it has happened to me before—you get back to the city and realize one of your favorite shirts is still hanging across the pantry. And that’s annoying.”
Cooke sees it differently: “I’m the last guy that will ever plan an outfit. So I like to just pack a couple suitcases full of stuff that will last me almost through the whole summer… I wear it and then I bring it back.”
Amanda added that her packing process starts “a week or two leading up to the summer” with lots of online shopping. But when it comes to actually packing? “It happens the night before. If I prep too much, I will overwhelm myself.”
Meanwhile, West Wilson kept it unfiltered: “I was taking red-eyes… I’d land Friday morning and then throw (expletive) in a bag.”

Paige dubbed Ciara Miller the go-to for costumes and party prep: “Ciara always has arts and crafts going on.” As for Lindsay Hubbard? “I’ve definitely borrowed underwear before, so I feel like I’ve probably lent underwear as well,” she confessed.
Amanda Batula took credit for the house vibes. “I’m the one that brings vibes and the music,” she said.
Ciara gave Jesse Solomon props for keeping it real: “Jesse can’t help but say whatever he wants to say. I appreciate someone who has a hot take and isn’t always trying to sugarcoat things.”
As for who’s hoarding the good stuff? Paige said it best: “We hide a lot of our drinks because the boys go through them. The girls are always hiding Diet Coke.”
