Lisa Vanderpump is not losing sleep over Scheana Shay’s comments about her. After the “Vanderpump Rules” OG turned “The Valley” cast member slammed Vanderpump in her new memoir “My Good Side”—accusing the restaurateur of gaslighting her and exploiting her real-life pain for reality TV—Lisa had a blunt response for TMZ: “I don’t care.”
The longtime “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and restaurant mogul made it clear on July 22 that she’s focusing on what really matters to her, not “bullsh*t” from her former employee. The shade came just days after Scheana doubled down on claims that Lisa manipulated her throughout her time at SUR and “Pump Rules.”
Lisa Vanderpump Reacts to Scheana Shay’s Explosive Memoir
In a paparazzi video captured outside a Beverly Hills hotspot, Lisa addressed the controversy surrounding Scheana Shay’s new book and recent press tour.
“Guess what? I don’t care what she says. How about that?” Lisa told TMZ. “I’m more concerned about Ozzy Osbourne dying today. That’s the saddest thing. Important things are what matter to me, not her bullsh*t.”
The comment came after Scheana told Us Weekly that Lisa “low-key used [her] real-life pain to launch her TV empire,” referencing how Lisa introduced her to Brandi Glanville on RHOBH despite knowing about her past affair with Brandi’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
“She gaslit me about it for a decade instead of just coming to me in the beginning,” Scheana said. “That’s the thing with Lisa: She doesn’t make mistakes. She makes moves and then calls them coincidences.”
Scheana added that her dynamic with Lisa shifted when she refused to “follow orders” and wouldn’t defend James Kennedy after he body-shamed Katie Maloney during a staff meeting.
Scheana Says Lisa Treated Her Like Just Another Employee
During an appearance on Page Six Radio, Scheana Shay elaborated on how her relationship with Lisa Vanderpump fell apart after she left “Vanderpump Rules.”
“When she talks about me now, I’m just one of 700 employees she has, so I’m like, ‘Okay, well then you’re just my former boss,’” she said. “It’s hurtful… I was [her good soldier]. You know, if I was told to jump, I would say, ‘How high and in what dress?’”
Scheana also recalled a particularly cold moment at the Emmys when Lisa allegedly refused to take a photo with her. “She was like, ‘No … Why don’t you go take another photo with Kyle Richards?’” Scheana said.
In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Scheana claimed Lisa once pressured her to defend James Kennedy to avoid firing him over his comments about Katie’s appearance. When Scheana refused, Lisa allegedly gave her a “death stare.”
