Scheana Shay’s book tour is not going quite as planned. The Vanderpump Rules star, who launched her memoir “My Good Side” the same day as “The Valley” season 2 finale, has already canceled multiple stops—and the feedback from attendees isn’t exactly glowing.

Scheana Shay Cancels Tour Stops as Fans Slam Disorganized Book Events

Ticket holders in both St. Louis and Washington D.C. were notified via email that their scheduled events were scrapped. “I’m so bummed,” Scheana wrote in her cancellation note, without offering a detailed explanation. According to Reddit users who began discussing the changes, the most likely culprit is low ticket sales.

“The St. Louis, MO show in early August is canceled. Looks like a few others are as well,” one Redditor claimed. “Clearly, it’s low ticket sales.”

Another fan added, “I just got an email alerting me that Scheana’s book tour event in my city is canceled. I’m kind of happy about it because the refund is automatic and I was feeling a little weird about giving her my money anyway.”

Reddit Users Say Shows Were ‘A Mess’ and ‘Didn’t Flow Well’

Even for fans who did attend the tour, reviews weren’t much better. Several users shared negative experiences from cities where the event went on as scheduled, including Salt Lake City and Austin.

“You lucked out. I went tonight in SLC and I feel like I was punked,” one attendee wrote. “Half the venue was empty… it didn’t even feel like a rehearsal. The merch/pre-order books never showed up, and she kept saying it wasn’t her fault.”

Another fan who went to the Austin stop described the night as “an experience” but noted several logistical missteps. “It seemed disjointed and didn’t flow well,” they wrote. “She didn’t realize the venue didn’t have a projector/screen to show a video she had, but said she’d upload it to Patreon for us to pay to view.”

Some pointed out that despite the press push around her book release, Scheana didn’t land her own full spot on “Watch What Happens Live”—instead making only a cameo appearance during a group episode. One Redditor called the whole rollout “strange,” noting that even diehard Bravo fans are struggling to stay engaged.
