Kim Zolciak ‘Not Happy’ With Ariana’s Accusations on ‘Next Gen NYC’
Kim Zolciak has stayed relatively quiet amid her messy divorce from Kroy Biermann—but her daughter Ariana Biermann is doing anything but. During the premiere of Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC,” Ariana shocked viewers with the claim that both Zolciak and Biermann took money she earned from brand deals during her teen years.
“Unfortunately, my parents took my money,” Ariana, 23, said in the debut episode. “I can’t say exactly what they used it on, because I just found out that it was gone two years ago. I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went.”
According to Us Weekly, Zolciak, 47, is “not happy” with the way Ariana aired the family’s financial issues on television. “Airing all this dirty laundry doesn’t make sense to her,” a source told the outlet. “Kim has been very quiet since her divorce, and she doesn’t like airing her family matters for public consumption. Kim doesn’t understand why she is talking about it.”
Ariana, however, told viewers she gave both of her parents a heads-up before speaking about the issue on the show.
Ariana Doesn’t Hold Back—Even With Her Own Family
Since “Next Gen NYC” premiered, Ariana has become a breakout star for her candor and down-to-earth approach. But she’s also been unflinching in calling out what she sees as financial betrayal—especially from her parents.
In Episode 6, Ariana revealed that she first learned about her drained finances from her father.
“My dad told me and my sister, ‘You have no money,’” she said in a confessional. “I was doing all these brand deals. I thought I was coming up in my life. But in reality, I guess I wasn’t.”
Even now, Ariana says she sometimes helps her parents with bills. “Sometimes she asks me for help,” she said of Zolciak. “But my mom asking me for this puts me in such a tough spot.”
Her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, didn’t hold back either. “She’s plenty capable of making her own money,” he said, later encouraging Ariana to set boundaries. “As much as it upsets me and that I want to say something, I’m not going to go disrespect her dad or disrespect her mom because of the choices that they made. They’re adults.”
Despite everything, Ariana still expressed loyalty to her mother during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live”. “My mom, no matter what, will be my best friend forever,” she told host Andy Cohen. “Money should never ruin a relationship with your family… I have my mom and that’s all that matters.”
“Next Gen NYC” airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Yeah, I’d be pretty silent on the fact that I stole my kid’s money too. Kim is a despicable human being.
Kim doesn’t like “airing her family matters for public consumption”? Okay lol
Kim has lived her entire life on others enabling her behavior and paying for her lifestyle. Her kids unfortunately grew up being expected to give mom money whenever she needed it. She will never change! Kroy finally had enough of the mental abuse and wants to protect his other kids from her behavior.
Since when does Kim “not want to air her dirty laundry for public consumption” LOL.. she just doesn’t want it aired if she looks like the bad guy
But on Kristin Cavallari’s tour appearance Kim made it sound like KROY is the reason they went broke. She said she had way more money than he did. Guess that doesn’t matter now that she’s broke and borrowing from her kids.
