If you’ve been feeling like season 2 of The Valley is a little more intense—and a lot less fun—you’re not alone.
Former Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, and Dayna Kathan recently weighed in on Bravo’s spinoff series, saying it’s taken a turn into uncomfortable territory.
‘This Is Making Me Feel Icky’: Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney Aren’t Holding Back
On a recent episode of the “Disrespectfully” podcast, the trio discussed how the current season is leaning too far into chaos without offering enough emotional balance or entertainment value.
“It’s so intense that like everyone is, like, out for blood,” said Maloney. “It’s f***ing nuts.”
Schroeder agreed, calling the season “so f***ing dark” and explaining that the content has started to affect her personally. “I’m just like, this is making me feel uncomfortable. It’s making me feel icky. Like, I need to tap out, otherwise I’m gonna have to talk to my therapist about what it all means.”
While the women acknowledged that divorce and drama are part of the reality TV playbook, they argued that The Valley is missing something crucial this time around: heart.
“Also, to have beef and hard things happening, I feel like there needs to be a balance of like real love and connectivity,” said Kathan.
Schroeder replied, “Which I thought was there for them the first season. But I guess like now watching, I’m like, you guys don’t give a f*** about each other.”
Maloney added that part of the problem may be the cast’s lack of shared history. “It seems like everyone is willing to throw each other under the bus and say horrific things, and everyone wants to be the morally superior one.”
