Kristen Doute Calls Her The Valley Co-Star ‘Insane’ For Comparing Jax to Jesse

Kristen Doute isn’t staying silent after Scheana Shay made a bold claim on a recent podcast appearance. The Valley star took issue with her castmate comparing Jesse Lally’s behavior to Jax Taylor’s—especially as both men go through messy divorces on the Bravo series. In a series of heated posts, Doute made it clear she sees no comparison between the two, and she didn’t stop there.

While appearing on Reality Checked With Kiki Monique, Scheana, 40, recounted a recent moment between Jesse, 45, and his estranged wife, Michelle Saniei. The incident occurred around the time Michelle’s mother passed away, and she had asked Jesse to take their daughter, Isabella, for the day so she could grieve.

“It was her day with Isabella and she asked Jesse, ‘Can you please take your daughter? She just lost her grandma, but I need one day,’“ Scheana said. “He had an election party to go to in Orange County and said, ‘No.‘”

Scheana then added that Michelle’s situation might be worse than Brittany Cartwright’s, saying, “Everyone knows how bad Jax is.”

That quote quickly reached Kristen, who took to Threads to respond. “It is INSANE for you to say Jesse is even comparable to Jax, Scheana. INSANE,” she wrote, as seen in a post shared by Cici Loves You on Instagram.

The Valley Star Doubles Down on Cast Criticism

Kristen didn’t stop with Scheana. She called out Jason Caperna, 41, accusing him of deflecting from Jax’s issues by focusing on Danny Booko’s drinking. “I’m so embarrassed for Jason in this episode. Both Jasons,” she wrote, referencing both Jason Caperna and Jax Taylor.

When a fan posted, “Jax isn’t good TV… he’s an abusive monster,” Doute replied, “I totally agree but don’t leave us!!! My engagement episode is coming up soon!”

Kristen also supported a viewer who blamed Janet Caperna, 35, for the show’s mood shift. “If Bravo is wondering why ratings are down, I’m happy to clue them in. It’s Janet,” the fan claimed. Kristen responded, “Ratings aren’t down but please don’t let her deter you from watching!! ilysm.”
