More news coming at the upfronts!

Yesterday’s announcement about four new Bravo shows was huge…and we’re hearing there is more news coming at the upfronts!

Bravo has more to announce on Monday May 12 at the upfronts! They didn’t want to announce so much at once that things would get buried so expect more exciting news! Also, just because RHONY and RHONJ weren’t on the list of renewed, doesn’t mean they were cancelled. But it does mean there are no immediate plans and the pause could be longer than originally expected. Hope not Miami style long but possible. Summer House among other shows weren’t there either. It just means they will not be on the planned schedule for the upcoming tv year. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs are the only RHONJ still in contract with NBC Universal – and are the only ones from Jersey in contract to attend BravoCon as well. Basically Bravo pays them a set amount during this holding period, to keep them engaged since they aren’t allowed to be on other networks.

***I received this Intel from a source regarding this email. The contracts have “tails” on them. Usually for Bravo it’s 6 months after their final episode airs. It’s an unpaid period. Now some of them could have development deals for future projects. BUT the ladies are not paid during this period.
