Islander here… MV is being difficult about allowing filming in some towns. A couple of movies are in preproduction and they don’t allow projects to happen at the same time (small island). Town meetings/ votes should be completed in the next couple of weeks.
Wish more people watched it. I enjoyed seeing a different culture and how they all navigated their friendships. Bummer

Yikes. I think it’s the wrong location for a summerhouse show considering they have to take a plane and boat to get there which means they can’t just have people show up like the Hamptons can.
I’m having a hard time believing this. MV is sooo good! I like it better than regular Summer House.

From what I understand, that area has extremely strict guidelines when it comes to filming. A friend of mine works for a production company ( very low level) and there is tons of red tape to even film movie scenes in the area.

maybe they can move the cast to a traveling format like jersey shore bc they are awesome and awesome together. I love the show. They’re just getting into the swing of it.
Hoping it’s just the strict rules of MV. Bravo really needs to branch out from the housewives. Cancellation of Shahs and Family Karma was not a great look. Hopefully rheh can keep the concept, just elsewhere. Loving the break from the toxicity of some of the housewives.
I loved Jordan. She’s a star. I hope Bravo finds another spot for her. I could see her hanging out with the SH Hamptons crew.
I watched S1 MV and started this season but fell off. The cast isn’t great IMO – guys are kinda lame with the exception of Preston & Amir. Shanice is the only girl who seems to want to have fun. Bria & her dog are lame, jasmine despite being preg wants to have fun but they always give her a hard time, & summer & Jordan just don’t bring it for me…. Every time I want to like it, they lose me 🙁
