she I was trying to get her because we like all week had been talking first. Porsche and Simon split. Just the skate the Sandoval house, the him and Ariana is house. There was a whole thing with that which I posted about I don’t even know if we’ll get to the house part. Mm hmm. In any event, I was like, Can you record with us tomorrow at three and unfortunately, she was unable to. But we’re definitely going to work something out. Because I feel like I often quote a lot of what our attorney cocktail hours tell us. So we’re definitely going to get and you could always go to the Bravo docket. They’re fantastic. But if our listeners have asked, they’re like, can you get an attorney on to break all this stuff down? So my girl is going to come on, but she couldn’t make it this week. I mean, and there’s I mean, I know we don’t even want to talk about it. But there’s the Leah McSweeney case. I am actually going to talk about it because two cocktail errs broke it down for me in a way that is very easy for us lay men to understand. So I mean, it’s just, it’s just breakup it’s and lawsuits. Every time I open my Instagram app, it’s smacking me in the face. I know. I feel like we need to know what’s going on from an astrology standpoint, because I was like, What is going on? Like there’s been? It feels like chaos in the Bravo world for the last like two weeks. Yes. Oh, yeah. So we got to talk to Papa straw. And then, of course, the Rachel.
I see. Are you proud of me? I said her name right. I am. We just heard today that Rachel
All of this is taking Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, both to court for revenge porn, eavesdropping and invasion of privacy. So there was a 19 page document filed. You know me, I love to read the documents, but this just happened. So I haven’t had a chance to read the whole thing yet. But what it says is that there is apparently there’s more to this story, that so this is from Rachel’s publicist, and I even took this language from deadline, shout out to deadline. Yeah, I believe they had it first. Thank you deadline for sharing this so that we can have this chat at the top of the show. So it says that, that Rachel was a victim of predatory and dishonest behavior of an older man who recorded sexually explicit videos of her without her knowledge or consent, which were then distributed, disseminated and discussed publicly by a scorned woman seeking vengeance, catalyzing the scandal. loveth ultimately checked herself into a mental health facility and remained there for three months, while Bravo evolution and the cast milk to the interest in her excoriation. The interest that it piqued.
Okay, so my initial reaction to this and guys, this literally came out a couple hours ago. I’m sure we’re gonna be talking about this in weeks to come as we get more clear information. We don’t even have a response yet. From Ariana, or Tom, we are at Thursday at 3pm cocktails we’ll be hearing this about this time tomorrow. By the time it’s out Saturday, they may have a response. What I find interesting is she is not naming Bravo or evolution in their name throughout the lawsuit. But the people she’s bringing to court are Tom and Ariana, not the network, not the production company. As I read that, I’m sorry, go ahead. Oh, no, go ahead. I was just gonna say like, I think that makes sense. Because Bravo didn’t show it. Yes, they talked about it.
A this was a video that Tom took without Michelle knowing. And then I fell again. Oh, shoot, I’m sorry. Rachel did not know Right. She was on FaceTime. But she didn’t know that he was screen recording. And then Ariana.
And it’s, you know, stories seem to vary on whether she actually sent the video to anybody or just showed it because she sent it to herself to her own phone. And then the story is that she either sent it or showed it to people from her phone. So that, yeah, go ahead.
Now, here’s what’s very interesting. What I learned when this came out, is that
in California, she had one year to file this Tomorrow marks one year that Arianna found out. I know, the date I posted it was March 3. But Ariana actually found out two days before, if we remember correctly, I believe she found out on a Wednesday and it got to us on a Friday. I remember the third because that is the date that our cocktail party went from what we had just started the community a couple months prior and it grew by
three to four times overnight. I mean, I’ll never forget that day. I mean, the site crashes we got so much traffic we recorded to emergency podcasts. I mean, it was it was a day I will never forget. I think I’m going to repost everything over the like coming days on the third for everyone to go back. And the third has consistently been like the first week of every month is crazy for us. That’s hubhaus break up.
Too many things for me to remember, but it’s always crazy. And this last week, well and welcome to all our new cocktail errs. We love our community growing and it’s we’ve been busy. And this week is I’m trying to wrap my head around her suing Ariana, because number one she’s gonna have to prove and perhaps Ariana did send it to somebody. And Raquel, Rachel can prove that Ariana disseminated it. I actually think it’s harder to prove that Tom Sandoval recorded it without her permission because that’s one person’s word against another.
I think she has to hope that there aren’t other
have videos that he has that work and you know what I mean? There’s like a lot of ways this can go. I think maybe it’s more of a revenge tactic, a relevancy tactic. Maybe she is looking for settlement. I think we know that Ariana will not settle. She’ll go all the way to court with this because
unless, of course, she knows that. Rachel knows that she sent it to somebody. Yeah. Right. Like if Rachel has proof that she sent it to so I
hear can i She have just sued Tom, although if she really has proof that Ariana sent it then I mean, I understand Ariana was scorned, but it is revenge porn. So she does have a right. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it’s, I think, in and this is where it would be so helpful to have like a legal expert weigh in? Because yeah, I think it’s, it’s, I don’t know if intent is different. And if it matters in a case like this, where the classic case of revenge porn is somebody takes a you know, sex tape or pictures that you know, somebody sent, and then posts them and or sends them out to a lot of people with the intent to, you know, humiliate and pop me to make public right. But one of the things that I think could be an Ariana is beaver in this case is that we’ve never seen the video. The video has never gotten out publicly, because trust us like it, it did, we would have seen it because people send us all this kind of stuff. So we have talked about this, too. Like, I remember talking about this after the reunion, like why aren’t we talking about that being revenge porn? Like, it always seemed strange to me that there wasn’t a bigger deal made out about that. So my theory is that it’s only revenge porn, if it’s true that he recorded without her consent?
I don’t think so. No, I think because I think you can still record like, let’s say, you know, they did a sex tape, both of them knowing right? Where it becomes revenge, or she sent him a nude over a text. Right? Right becomes revenge porn is when it can then is distributed to other people. Right? Oh, that person’s permission, is my understanding. That’s my understanding. And she has to be able to prove that it was distributed right now. I’m wondering, who could
Ariana have sent it to? That would let Rachel know, right? It could be that in the heat of that. And what’s that whole thing that like when you kill someone in the heat of passion, you can get off for something like if in the heat of the moment when she found it? She just blasted it to her entire
you no phone, iPhone address book, you know what every phone number she has? Yeah, there is the potential that she sent it to somebody who decided to share that with Rachel at some point. I and I’m trying to remember if they talked about this ever, like, I feel like there was were different takes on this on whether she did send it or whether she showed it because I think he I think she admitted that she showed it to other people. Right. Yeah. So you know, I don’t know I I can’t help but wonder if a lawyer in some kind of a money grab is a pro well or to say your case. Now here’s the kicker. This this lawsuit brandies lawsuit, Lea McSweeney’s lawsuit are all with the same attorneys that represent Bethenny Frankel. Oh, geez. Now, do with that information what you want. But additionally, I know there’s some people saying like, how can brandy afford the attorney? It depends what kind of case it is. But number one, any law firm knows they’re getting great publicity, right? And number two, in personal injury, you don’t get paid until there’s a settlement. Right, or, you know, a verdict that you get a third of whatever attorneys will take a third of you get a million dollars. The attorney gets a third of that, right. So in that case, she wouldn’t have to pay up front. And like Gloria alread, Mark Geragos, who I believe is the lawyer who was involved.
They are both known for taking on high profile cases right on contingency just like personal injury lawyers do right. So yeah, I don’t know. Because what that mean interesting one to follow. And what that means is they know that
Like so, if Amanda hired me as her attorney, which clearly she would do, I would say to her, you don’t have to pay me a dime. But when you get your settlement, you owe me a third of it. Right. So that’s what that means on contingency. So, on the heels trying to read through the deadline, I had a couple of DMS, the first DM shared with me that so, when we were away, there was a rumor swirling that Brittany and Jax were separated. So this was based on the fact that people were picking up on it look like Brittany was at a different house when she was posting pictures. And then Jax took a picture with their publicist. Now, F like it when they were hugged up and it wasn’t a picture that is touching yazar grasses you harass my Cressy against him yet. Like I
was out with girlfriends last night like I did not I don’t touch my face to my girlfriend’s faces even though I love them. And like literally, I mean touch skin to skin on like it was I thought it was strange.

they came out after this. And initially my reaction to it was the shows coming out. This is a great way to get media attention. This picture is with his publicist. Britney is very good friends with a publicist. It’s also her publicist. This the woman the publicist is married children. This is just to create a buzz. They both came out and said Brittany and Jax. She’s our friend. We were all out she takes pictures like that with all her clients, women men straight data data. in the DM right above it was a source who told me allegedly the chatter of him being unfaithful during events when she’s not around because we know that with the show coming he’s picked up in popularity again, he’s out on the road a lot. So this chatter got too loud. In addition to that parently she was sent some damning evidence, allegedly a while back. On top of that, his new income has him indulging in some extracurricular activities that he used to indulgent that we all remember wondering why he was so hyped up.
He hadn’t been doing that. Of course, when he was doing that was before he had a child and all of this and he calmed down a lot. You know, his whole family man, man Schpeel which translated to on which translated to I no longer have the funds to keep up with these extracurricular skiing activities. This is all allegations. And then there are people saying this is a media ploy. I don’t see Britney going as far as to say they’re separated if there’s no truth to it. Yeah, I agree. Do I think that she will divorce him? No. I think that he done messed up again. And he’s in the doghouse and she’s kind of issuing a warning. I think then being on reality TV makes it so that she’s maybe more willing to do this because she knows it will. The podcast is gonna make a lot of money in ANSYS week because everyone’s tuning in as we speak.
The people are going to tune
into the show, because they’re going to be like, well, how were they before this happened when you know, but ultimately, I do not see Brittany, divorcing him or even like really separating for a long period of time. If she didn’t leave him when they didn’t have a child, if she married him after he not only cheated on her, but there was audio of him saying how he didn’t love her and blah, blah, blah, if she stayed with him when she was the breadwinner, because there was a time where he was not getting any endorsements wasn’t on a show. And she was making money from her endorsements and had a very sizable check coming in from Jenny Craig, she didn’t leave him, then. She’s not going to leave him as their stars on the way up. I think she’s mad. I think he’ll do better for a while. And I think that this is the sort of toxic relationship they have and will continue to have. I don’t know, I think it’s interesting, because I kind of wondered why, you know, just seeming like how all in on the family like, like, well wonder why they haven’t been talking about having another kid or, you know,
I don’t know. And I guess we’ll see. And I think I’m now interested to tune into their podcasts just to hear
what it’s going to be like, how they continue to do a podcast when they’re separated and pissed off at each other. Right? You know, like, I don’t know, I don’t know how you if they’re just gonna start taking turns, I don’t know. Or if they’ll have a therapist come on, and they’ll start making it like a marriage therapy. Like, it should be interesting. I don’t know. That’s, that’s a good point. That’s a good point. And I think we’ll know more when we see them. And we hear them talking about having a second child. And maybe we hear Brittany say, No, you’re out all the time. And then I’ll be home with two babies. Like we have to wait and see all of that. Or maybe we’ll hear her talk about how she’s having trouble getting pregnant the second time, or that they’re not ready for a second child yet, you know, so what we’ll say the show will definitely shed some light on whether this was real legit, or I think that when they were off the show, there may have been a period where their relationship was probably the most stable it ever had been.
But I think Jack’s doesn’t do well with the limelight. I think it goes to his head. I think that when he has money, he has a sense of self importance. I think he’s clearly always been somebody who finds monogamy. Hard. Yeah. And like I’ve heard, listen, we’ve had a lot of emails about him. Okay, even when he was off television, there are girls at these events that don’t care that he’s married. Oh, yeah. You know, it’s what it is. Because I think that’s, I think interesting about them is, Jax loves her. And he loves his family. Right? I just think he’s got terrible impulse control. Right. And just like you said, this inflated sense of self importance that comes with more of a spotlight and more money. And I think that when you have impulse control, it’s much harder to control when you’re drunk and skiing. Yeah, exactly. I think that he was legislated. Allegedly. I think he was mostly at home. When queers was young, and they weren’t on TV, you know what I’m saying the opportunity. What is that expression? Some people are as faithful as their options. Oh, Mm. Hmm. I don’t know. I don’t believe in that. I. Well, I heard some, I think that some people, yes. Like I have always said like, it just, I was having this conversation with girlfriends last night. Because we happen to go to this cocktail bar. And we are laughing because it was like, the four of us. And like 25 men. Oh, brother, and one of us is single. And the rest of us are not right. But I mean, it was non stop the end like finally, I’m just trying to catch up with my other one of my girlfriends and I are like, we’re just trying to talk about our kids. Sports. Right? Right. I’m like, This is so annoying to me. I want nothing to do with it. I want I am like, No, thank you. But then, you know, like, some people are like, Oh, they love it. And like, I just I don’t know, I think people just have different. I think if it had been Johnny J and you were at the quiet woman you would have been more into it.

Okay, all right. So we talked
A little bit about Portia last podcast about her announcing her return to Atlanta. And I want to say we, like I know, we talked about her marriage, and I want to say like, we just saw her, like galavanting around in this like jetski car thing in Dubai. So, you know, we’re very interested, just to get a look inside what that marriage and what that home life is like, because Simon, I think likes the spotlight, but just seems to have as more like, traditional kind of attitude. So we are, you know, just kind of interested to get a look inside what’s going on in that marriage. And then, a couple of days after we recorded, we see the reports that Simon Obadiah had a federal court and Atlanta deny his petition to overturn the denial of his citizen application.
So the court documents go into some details about why there are a multitude of allegations and charges of bank and credit fraud. He is even accused of using a fake identity and lying on an application to stay in the US and have you know, his green card or his citizenship. So be was the deep diver on my No, it’s so rare for me to dive Yes. So all the credit goes to be for this would you like to read the timeline? Okay, so 1982 Old man.
The old man arrives that so he gets here 1982 First time on a six month visa 1985. He marries his first wife in an alleged attempt to gain citizenship through an adjustment of status application after overstaying his visa. It was denied by the Immigration and Naturalization Service due to speculation that his marriage was a ploy to stay in the country. This is according to the woman that he married. He then voluntarily returned to Nigeria 1986 He returned to the US on a visitor’s visa and again fails to leave at its six month expiration date in 1987. He is arrested for alleged bank and credit card fraud, he pleads guilty to felony charges in 88. He is accused of failing to disclose his criminal past and using a fake identity on a temporary resident pass through the ins special Agricultural Worker Program. In 89, he’s arrested for alleged unauthorized use of a vehicle. In 90 he is arrested for fraud, triggering the ins to begin deportation proceedings. 91 He’s accused of committing credit card fraud 92 He’s deported but received a Green Card via the approval of his 1988 application. So there must have been something in the matrix there where he got deported but then his paperwork from four years ahead went through, right. In 2016. He applied for naturalization using an alias but was reportedly denied because his temporary resident status was unlawful unlawfully granted, I guess they realized that he had been deported and got the green card unlawfully you spent

So he figured well, from 1992 to 2016, maybe they forgot they did it. In 2020. He applied for naturalization again, but he’s denied immigration courts decision was based on his being not lawfully admitted for permanent residence under his alias. I mean, you know, I’m going to say it wrong alias, and that disqualifying criminal inadmissibility that was willfully concealed. Okay, so what this means he was denied his request for naturalization based on fraud. He used a fake identity and lied about his criminal record record on his application. In 2022, a court hearing regarding his citizenship application is held. Again, he is denied permanent residency. In 2023, he files a complaint challenging the decision, which was ultimately dismissed most recently because of his criminal record. So then I was like, what businesses does this man claim to have, according to his Wikipedia, which we all know we can do ourselves? He says he founded sym, coal petroleum limited company in 2010. It is a regional fuel supplier. It’s headquartered in Atlanta. It also mentioned that he worked alongside Academy Award winner Spike Lee to executive produce a film in 2020. AKA he gave sprightly somebody, right. And he got a credit. In 2017, he opened a restaurant called Simon’s restaurant because when you’re here illegally, what you do is open a restaurant in your name.
They closed in 2020 during the pandemic. So now his company the petroleum company just got sued by another company there that runs a fractional aircraft program, which allows for multiple owners to contribute to ownership. Simon’s business as of now jatis mostly heard of NetJets Yeah, so Simon’s business stopped paying for their plane and net jets is demanding 814,000
in interest, so plus interest plus interest. Okay, now all it just happened. I think that lawsuit just came out Monday. So this week, so this man has a history of being a criminal, DD as far back is essentially Porsche’s before she was born because I think she’s Yeah, so what I had a lot of followers send me You know, I have so many folks in Atlanta I love my Atlanta peeps. They’re like my Charleston peeps, they told me everything. He’s a very well known scammer. Nobody is surprised by this. So immediately when I saw this, come out, I said his Porsche you’re gonna leave him? Yes, she’s gonna leave him and then the next day it was announced. My question is this portion get Porsche get the same heat as Erica Jane. Her lavish lifestyle was based off fraudulent money. Of course she would they were only married 15 months.
But at first I did think before I deep dove, I was like, maybe she didn’t know it would be impossible not to know that that this man is a crock.
Let me ask you this, as you know, Porsche 7 million Instagram followers, right? If you are as famous and well known as she is, do you don’t get background checks on the people that are around you? Like? I’m not saying everyone in just like normal life should do that. But like, what do you think so or wouldn’t her lawyers and just doing like, it’s just really interesting to me that
she wouldn’t have done that, you know, and like,
or if he did, she knew,
if multiple multiple followers are telling me that he’s known as a scammer in Atlanta, that means that Porsches heard it. So? Yes, certainly in that case. Now, I think it’s different if she was dating somebody who was
didn’t have any, like smoke around them. And there wasn’t all these rumors that they were not on the up and up, right.
Let’s say she met a heart surgeon, you know, although after that crazy documentary on that heart surgeon, but I’m just saying like, there are some reasons why maybe she wouldn’t need to, in this case. Certainly. It’s I feel like she knew something she may not have known everything. Yeah. What I’m looking back at your timeline. So his looks like the last criminal things. Were in the 90s and late 80s. And I’m seeing arrested accused. I’m not seeing convicted too, so. Oh, wait, no, that’s not right. He pled guilty to felony charges in 1980s.
Seven, which, which is probably the year she was born, and yeah, you know, maybe she looked at it like he did. He messed up the law when he was young. He was trying to make it in America and 30 years later, he’s a successful businessman and people change. Right? Okay, so Simon then comes out after Porsche filed saying on an Instagram post, I will stop loving my wife when the divorce is final. So he’s clearly
trying to paint the picture that he doesn’t want the divorce, you know, not taking any, you know, responsibility, I guess would be another way to put it. So what I find very interesting is that Portia and her divorce filing requested that Simon, not destroy or conceal or alter any financial documents relevant to their ongoing separation. According to documents obtained by People magazine, shout out to people
in the filing, Simon was notified other requirement under Georgia law for him to exercise reasonable care to protect and preserve evidence and relevant to the case which includes financial records, income records, tax records, expense records, as well as any documents reflecting relevant conduct by him or Williams. I will say that sounds like kind of standard language, I don’t what I don’t know is if that is more specific language than as usual, because you know, in a lot of doors, filings, people try to hide money. So you know, from writer. And then it also says that Williams is requesting that her prenup with Obadiah be enforced by the court part of the filing. So I also kind of wonder, like, I’m imagining they had mutual prenups, right, like any portion of stuff was Porsche is before the marriage, any of Simon stuff was Simon’s before the marriage. So I wonder if too, like, she’s more worried that he’s gonna come after her because she has business as she’s, I mean, 7 million followers you’re getting, you know, like, she’s gotta be doing well, just based on on that. And then now with the show. So what I heard was that, because what’s interesting is her deal with the network. And she’s not just coming back to housewives, she signed a deal with the network for scripted shows, and I heard it was a big money deal. I was told the language used in that contract
was intended to make it so he couldn’t go after it. But of course, the court of law decides that right? We know that prenups aren’t always followed to the letter. So I don’t know. I don’t know what this looks like. Is it that she wants it to be enforced to protect herself? But also, I would be surprised if she didn’t say like, at the 12 month mark, she’s entitled to a million or 2 million. You know what I’m saying? Yeah, I mean, it’s again, I wonder if she really didn’t know when she signed
that they were going to split I hate.
I just feel like and I said it when she was asked back, I never felt that he would let her go on the show. So I feel like she knew this was coming out. She spoke with Bravo, she secured her contract, she secured her bag. And

So apparently back in August, Kim D and Teresa re followed each other. And then I guess they met at rails because Louis lawyer Teresa’s lawyer, set up the meeting to broker peace. So this is after all the awful things. I mean, it’s awful. They both said about each other including Teresa colleague, Tim or Kim, a sewer rat. And Kim D being on podcast where she bad mouths Teresa and Louis
frequently and she has her own podcast now that she bad mouths them. Oh, geez. I have a theory. Okay, I’m ready or a is 100% from my own for my own brain. I shared it on our zoom call. So you you know what I’m talking about, hey, this is not confirmed or even rumored? I am saying I think this so was shared a few weeks ago that we heard Theresa is planning on parting ways with her namaste pod co host after this season airs. On this season of Jersey, they’re going to show her pod so her co host Melissa Spicer is going to be shown. I understand from what I understand Teresa obviously doesn’t want to like ditch her and then have to answer to why she’s gone. We know that Louie doesn’t like the co host. My theory is that Theresa asked Kim D to do a pod with her. I think from a ratings point of view, initially it would bring in listeners
it just seems like something that would make a PR splash. I’m thinking maybe it’s like sometimes she does it with Kim because I do think that Louis wants in on a podcast. So I don’t know. I’m just spitballing guys but

But at least Kim DS in name and at least Kim DT associated with jersey. Yeah, I just gotta wonder to like, because I think your theory is very interesting and plausible. I also just wonder if there is some sort of take down a brewing, because Kim seems to have a lot of information on everybody in New Jersey. So I don’t know, I think both could be true. Oh, oh. So I or bringing her back on? Well, oh, I think I know that Teresa. And the food is when added this season. So that could be something. Yeah, it could be. Okay. So
back to all of the legal issues, because everybody seems to be suing within the Bravo verse Lea McSweeney’s lawsuit, which was that? Yeah, that was this week as as well.

She has in her own highlights a clip of her on a talk show I believe Tamron whole saying how supported she felt by Andy and the network when she got sober and how they welcomed her back. And now she’s suing and you have to laugh because all of these things are admissible in court. It’s taped footage that aired on television her saying that she She also says on the first season she started drinking before filming started. So what Lea file
This is under the Americans with Disabilities Act. And she claimed she was discriminated against what the cocktail who is an attorney said was ironically, this person, this person is an expert in this because she actually teaches this New York state law to judges. So it’s about accommodations for whatever her disabilities are. So this lawsuit has nothing to do with that thing that hit the media about Andy doing drugs and sending dick pics that was all just to get make headlines essentially, and and smear Andy’s name. Right. So the attorneys like I’m not sure what disability she has, but this law provides now we remember her saying on the show, she shared that she was diagnosed bipolar. So it could be that or it could be alcohol, it could be what have you could be alcoholism. So this would provide a physical or mental impairment that limits your activity. So she would have to ask for an accommodation based on the disability that she has or perceives to have. And she would need to be denied that accommodation. So this is all filed in the south Southern District of New York. Basically, what this means is, this lawsuit is only viable if Lea, before she ever went on the show, went to them and said, I have blank disability as a result of blank disability. I need blank accommodation. And if the network said no. Now based on what we know, she didn’t ask for that. So I say all this to say I think she’s probably looking for attention looking for relevancy. Her companies are not doing well. Her married to the mob. My followers telling me they get emails every day. She’s trying to get rid of her merch that has like all her
slogans like her sayings from the show. And from over a year, it’s just been the same stuff they’re trying to get rid of to restock. So our businesses aren’t doing well. She’s not making the reality check. We saw a second season She upgraded her apartment, she put her daughter in a fancier private school. So her income took a hit. And this is a money grab. A lot of people pointed out remember how she started her business in the first place when she sued NYPD for what she claimed was a false arrest. She got like $15,000 And that’s the money she used to start her company. So I think she’s hoping for a settlement. Let’s see how it goes for her. Yeah, I don’t know. I mean, all the things you pointed out about her publicly saying that. Bravo and Andy were very supportive like it, it just doesn’t. It doesn’t look good for her. It just doesn’t. I wanted to talk about Wendy Williams, and her documentary. And the reason that I want to talk about this. If you guys have been listening to us since the beginning, in my very first hour of excuse me, our very first pod. Amanda asked me like, how did I even get the idea?
And
I have been listening to Wendy Williams since I was a kid way before she had her television show when he was on the radio in New York. And she would gossip and she would gossip about hip hop artists and actresses. And on what oh 7.5 And she wrote books. I went to two of her book signings I met her I am I’ve always been a huge fan. I always wanted to like be a talk show host or a radio personality. I never actually thought that I would have anything like that. But like, in my head. So in the words of Wendy Wendy has always been a friend in my head because that’s what she would always say. So as hard as this documentary was an is for me to watch.
I hope that by her by it being out there and all of us content creators who are fans of Wendy because when he is a pioneer in the industry without Wendy there would not be be no podcast. She is the female Howard Stern and more importantly, she is well more importantly, she’s a woman right? So I relate to her more. And her section of pop culture has always appealed to me more than Howard Stern, right because he would start like sports and rock and roll or like whatever like Wendy was like hit
Pop Pop housewives. She loved her housewives. So essentially if you haven’t watched the documentary her family was denied guardianship. She has been diagnosed with dementia.
Her son, we heard is who? So guys, I have not watched us. I am planning to I just there was so much content to catch up on who does have guardianship of her right now. So, what happened was when she was unable to do her show, she was under the guardianship of her son.
She was diagnosed with dementia at that time. So her son in with her her father, her mother has passed with her sister and with her adult niece and adult nephew, her her son is also they’re young adults, you can they were taking care of her. They were getting her healthy. She has a problem with alcohol, alcohol may have exacerbated her dementia. So they had her not drinking, they had her eating healthy. They had her not stressed not working right. And she was in a good place. Now the state took guardianship away. It’s a very complicated process. And in New York State, many attorneys have shared with me that it’s very much a broken system. I will leave it for, you know, the attorneys and the Bravo docket to explain those details. But what
I understand is that her son was taken away guardianship and here’s the kicker and you haven’t watched so. This is what’s really going to get you. Her son was spending her money. Now I’m going to tell you, this is some bullshit. Wendy is a successful wealthy woman. She has one son.
Her son was spending her money I’m sure he was saying Mom, can I get this mom? Can I take this and whether she has dementia or not? Yeah, yeah, her son who was raised in a life of privilege, right? If you are a fan of Wendy’s, I remember. Okay. He was born in 2000. I was a freshman in college. I remember listening to Wendy and her talking about her baby, her entire life revolved around her one son. She threw him birthday parties. It Her sister said her son’s using her money. She threw him a birthday party last year it cost $120,000. Do you understand? So when they’re saying he’s spending her money, it doesn’t even make any sense because it’s his money to spend, like, of course, legally because she has. But the state basically turned around whoever filed is probably her handlers who wanted to get the money themselves. So now the state looks at it very black and white cut and dry and says Oh, her son took money out. She’s not in the she’s diagnosed with dementia, she can’t fully comprehend. So we have to remove him. Now we’re putting a stranger, the stranger is getting paid. As a guardian. The stranger is being sued for stealing $30 million. Now for Wendy, this is a whole Yes. This is a whole huge mess. And it pisses me off because as a mother, I can tell you, every penny I have is going to my children when I die. So if I were to be in a situation where and more to the point when you watch, you will see that her husband, her husband, excuse me, her ex husband’s a piece of trash but her son, first of all, he’s so handsome. And he looks so much like Wendy and he’s so handsome. But he is a student. He is an intelligent, well spoken, well mannered wants the best for his mother. It’s not like he’s some kid who’s like out in the club and like, you know what I’m saying? Who’s Yeah, like, he is a student. And
he’s a spoiled kid who always spent a lot like, in other words, him spending money. How he does is the same as my son being like, Hey, can I have 20 bucks to go to the movies and get pizza with my friends? Right? Right. So it’s absolutely asinine. It’s a broken system. I venture to say,
I’m not an attorney. I don’t know a ton about the system. I really wonder if race plays into it. I just feel like it does. And when you see it, you will see her father’s a retired teacher. I have a follower who shared with me that her father was her mom’s teacher, lovely man. Her sister, her niece is a an anchor on Florida, I believe.
When you see them, they’re all accomplished, educated. These are not people trying to take advantage of trying to help their family member. Yeah.
The latest statement came out this week is that her manager and the publicist who are both pieces of garbage are no longer working with her. For those of you who don’t believe the manager is a piece of garbage. I’m just gonna say this. He plays it very well. But at that lunch scene,
when her son and nephew weren’t there yet, and he said, Oh, they’re late. Do you think they’re even coming when he started to cry?
He set that meeting up. When her son got there. He said mom, I was in school. He set that meeting up earlier than he told the boys
so that it looked like they didn’t care. Okay, grab a piece of trash. So if you don’t listen to Andy, and if you’re not a fan, I’m sorry if this wasn’t really your cup of tea, but
I feel that
I have this platform. And the more of us that speak on this and that urge the powers that be to I don’t know if she has access to her money, Amanda. So like, she needs an attorney who can pay her a contingency, like, you know, but she needs somebody to help her get her away from this guardian. I hope that whatever lawsuit This is, we just know from Brittany and obviously totally different situation, but we know how hard it is to get out of a guardianship. Well, I wonder if the lawyer who helped Brittany is licensed to practice in New York? Maybe I hope so he needs to get involved, because that’s what happened. Right? He approached her is my understanding and helped her because she was told she couldn’t she couldn’t afford, you know, the lawyer, you know, was appointed by the same crooked system that was keeping her in that guardianship. So at the end of the documentary, her sister and her niece were optimistic. They said that Wendy was in a good headspace, although they weren’t physically with her. So my hope, and they said that their hope they said it right on the documentary, their hope, with this being public, is that people help them.
So I grew up in New York, you know, so and I don’t think she was syndicated where I grew up. But, you know, have seen her show,
have always thought she was funny. And
not I don’t have the kind of like, you know, long experience being a fan of hers. But I watched a bunch of the clips from this documentary. And just from a human standpoint, it looks fascinating. I don’t think you need to be a Wendy Williams fan, to want to watch this documentary. And I think it’s great that, that we’re bringing this up. I mean, that’s how, again, like that’s the same Brittany movement is eventually what really pushed to get Brittany, out of that crooked guardianship. So yeah, it gets grayed out, right. You know, like, even though with celebrities, obviously, we don’t know them. But sometimes things feel personal. And with Wendy, it just feels very personal. And I’m like, crying now even talking about it, because it’s just so upsetting. And it’s upsetting because you have this strong woman who was not only taken advantage by her husband of many years, ultimately, was deceiving her for a very long time, if not the whole time and taking advantage. But now you have people who work for her, like her manager for many years, the publicist is new. And it’s just really unfair, that she has a strong support system around her and the state is blocking them from helping her. So it’s insane. And yes, hopefully the next time we speak on this, it’s good news. And I’m sorry to end on that kind of note. But
