The tides are turning on Kyle. We have an exclusive about Dorit and PK’s divorce. The ladies of NYC are petty betties. On Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Mary is Marying. Oh, cocktail ers, we have some breaking news. We are recording Thursday afternoon, as per usual. Yes, hi guys, hi mailers. Okay, so today you posted, oh, I guess we should probably also say, like, just a little trigger warning. Yeah, so abuse is involved in what we’re about to talk about. So feel free if this is a topic that is tough for you to fast forward today be posted a blind that sounded James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules was arrested after Kathy Hilton’s Direct TV Party, which she does every year, I believe, and invites all these reality stars, which just seemed like everybody seemed to be posting today, and, Yeah, even Beth from all the way back from the real world. Was there young cocktails are like, Who’s that best for when I was a little kid? So Beth been around. So I had heard from a couple of people at the party that James was completely out of control and acting crazy. I actually had somebody, a totally anonymous person, that I couldn’t verify. DM me that he had been arrested after the party ally last night went to it looked like it was something to do with astrology, some event, James was not with her, but she was posting normal and then today I was again tipped off, so I did write the blind and hoping it wasn’t true. And sure enough, a couple of hours later, TMZ posted that James was, in fact, arrested at his home after Tuesday evening, just this past Tuesday, after the Direct TV Party at Kathy Hilton’s house, and looking at a picture. Because I was like, gosh, I saw him in something. I’m like, Oh, that’s right, because Heather McDonald was at the party and posting pictures with people, and I’m looking at this picture of James, and his eyes are really glassy and his face looks red. Do we know if there was alcohol involved when the with the acting crazy? Yes, and he’s off. Who knows?
Is what else I’m getting gas. It’s about the pasta. Oh, goodness. I hope,
I hope everybody involved is okay, and that anyone who needs the help is getting any kind of help, is getting the help that they’re that they need. I think it’s too early to comment on. We don’t have a lot of details on what actually happened. And so Kristen dowdy react actually reposted my so I posted the blind. And then when TMZ posted about it, I posted their their screenshot of them confirming that he had been arrested for domestic violence. And Kristen dowdy reposted my post and wrote, finally, both Kristen and Rachel have alluded to physical violence with James, but neither ever outright said it, and just so devastating sad for any woman who has ever had to experience and I did pull up the phone number and I We apologize if this is triggering, there is a National Domestic Violence Hotline. We’re done with you. I We don’t know how this is gonna shake out. And we you, and I never spoke on it, because months ago, around the time that Rachel had a podcast, she alluded to things, and Kristen has alluded to things. And I have to tell you that I honestly assumed, I thought that we all know that James has tried to get sober, or, should I say, has tried to not drink, because he always smoked. And I was under the naive impression that maybe he was somebody who we’ve seen him verbally abuse people on the show. And so, I think, tried to rationalize that he was somebody who did this in the past verbally was aggressive and said mean things. Because I really couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that friends of friends, okay, are posting like people who have podcasts and are in that circle and saying that everybody knew. They’re saying everybody knew. And so for me, I’m like Katie and Ariana certainly were on the outs with James for a long time, but around scandaville, they all befriended him. And I just feel like I find it shocking if all these people knew and they still hung out with him, and we can’t know what people knew. And I’m not saying that Katie or Ariana or anybody knew something and but they are all friends with Kristen, and Kristen did repost my post and say finally, and she has alluded to it. It’s just a lot of ick around this. I think that the fact that the show has been rebooted is a convenient timing where I think we’re gonna hear more about this. I think we’re gonna get details that we might not if a new season was coming our way, and you and I were just on the pod proponents of him DJing at sir and being on the news reboot. We’re for sure, not anymore. We’re not from we’re not proponents for him being on any television sets. Yeah, I’m reading in US Weekly. A witness reportedly saw Kennedy, 32 arguing with a woman and allegedly grabbing her so it sounds as if somebody else called the police. According to TMZ, officers who responded to the scene did not see any visible injuries. The Bravo star and his girlfriend Ali Luber, were in attendance at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party the night of the arrest. It has not been confirmed, as she is the woman involved in the incident. And so if it’s a domestic violence incident, it’s always almost the partner or the spouse. Is it? Is there a possibility that there was an after party at Jax? You say I’m calling him Jax already at James’s house, and that he was violent with another woman. Sure, it’s possible, but it doesn’t really matter who it was, yeah, so I feel for whomever the victim was, presumably ally, but again, not confirmed, not confirmed, and that’s not all. Amanda,
you guys will remember a couple weeks ago, somebody, a source, told me that Jax was headed back to rehab. It hasn’t been posted publicly, but I’m hearing that he is, in fact, in rehab, but he sleeps at home, so that’s an outpatient program. He is another person who has had his rage on full display over the years. I suspect James is gonna do damage control and head off to rehab. Listen, we hope all people that need help get it. Yeah, with that said, I do not want men who are violent on my television screen. Nope, I absolutely do not. I couldn’t agree more, there is no spotlight that needs to be given to people who are hurting other people in that way. I.
Been wondering, just personally, if Jax was okay, because we’ve seen the videos of how paparazzi actually caught him in a hit and run with his truck, and then you see him riding around on like a electric scooter, going to what looks like the liquor convenience store. He just doesn’t look he doesn’t look like he’s well, he’s doing okay, yeah, I hear he’s really not. And you just wonder how much of this stuff that Britney just hasn’t, she just hasn’t really talked about it, because I understand it’s her son’s father, and she
probably doesn’t want to bring some of his behavior publicly to light to protect her own son. Of course, of course. Who could blame her, but she looked fantastic. I saw pictures of her at the party. Oh, and I don’t I didn’t see any photographs, but I was also told she brought a new guy as a date to the Direct TV Party. So good for her. Yeah, another thing that’s been popping up a lot of California news is there was the rumor that came out this week. Because I don’t even know if you even posted anything about it, because I think I know why he didn’t, but that dorit and Mauricio, the whispers about them, have started again, this time saying that she was spotted sneaking out of his condo. But we don’t see any pictures or get any actual receipts of this happening. Okay, I want to be very clear, because somebody posted this on Twitter or something with a picture of Mauricio is building, and they’re asking me, and I actually did repost something and said, This is nonsense. If derive banged Mauricio at any point, Kyle would have made sure she was off the flipping show. Stop it. This is ridiculous to me. First of all, Kyle almost succeeded in having dorit cut from the show simply because she was no longer a soldier. Don’t you think she’d definitely be gone if she were sleeping with Mauricio? Yeah. Second of all, Mauricio and PK are really good friends. Do you think PK would be traveling and hanging with Mauricio on a weekly basis if he were stopping dorit? Ha, it just doesn’t even come on after scandal. It’s like everybody wants the next whatever, but it’s, it’s not true, not It’s not this one. I’m sure there’ll be an air scandal, but I don’t think it this, ain’t it, right? I mean, do we think somebody was maybe seen sneaking out of this condo? Okay, sure, was it? Dori, come on. No, that really helps. So it’s, I mean, I do read just literally came in on fire this season. They continued to get into it, which I found really interesting, because dorit seemed to want to just get everything out on camera. And then she even said her process is, I want to say everything I want to say, and then we can start to talk about making up, which I understand, and I think not just because dorit wants for a moment, but doesn’t want to let Kyle continue to get away with sweeping things under the rug and not getting exposed. But obviously this beef is, as we’ve been talking is so deep and there’s a lot going on that we are not hearing about reading between the lines. We know that this isn’t really just about Teddy and making the joke about the Richard sisters, Bose even calls it out in her confessional that this is very deep and layered. What’s going on with these two women? I don’t believe that this is their last spat. I think dorit completely exposed Kyle. I think Kyle. I think as viewers, we see that Kyle expects a certain loyalty, that she has double standards with the LVP situation. She made it out with most of the audience, either calling it a draw because LVP has similar double standards, and they did it for each other for a long time, or people felt Vanderpump was in the wrong with the Kyle situation, because at that time, Vanderpump was like the main diamond holder. Maybe it’s because she’s older, but it definitely felt that way. As time goes and the list grows and production has more of these flashbacks, which, by the way, production is doing Kyle dirty. They are, that’s right, pulling up all those scenes, yeah, like, it’s just very obvious that there is a shift in the viewers perception of Kyle that has started last season, and now it’s really evident she’s got one set of rules for herself, one for everyone else. I.
I do not believe there is a snowball’s chance in hell she is ever actually forgiving Dorit, who has now fully exposed her. I think Kyle, as we’re watching her during filming, is shitting a brick, because I think dorit does no private things, and I think that Kyle sees dorit doing the most and exposing her own husband as an alcoholic and bankruptcy, and she is letting it all hang out. And I think that Kyle is rightfully panicked that if she doesn’t make nice with her, and even if she does make nice with her, Dorit is gonna, like, really spill the tea, and let’s see how the season unfolds. Yeah, Therese obviously clears down so far away. Oh, I do, oh, here. Oh, no, that was my volume. Ignore me. It was your volume. I’m sorry, guys, ignore me. I thought I was making it louder and I was making it lower. Can you tell that it’s almost Christmas and I’m completely shot? Okay?

Here’s what I can’t figure out, because I feel like the mystery to me is why Kyle doesn’t have more self awareness. Because even if she does it in a manipulative way, and this isn’t just out of her pure intentions of wanting to do better,
I feel like she’s got to realize that this is looking really bad for her, and that viewers are going to see this and turn on her, because we’re.
We’re already seeing it happen. As you said, that’s a very good point. Does she think we’re stupid? Or is she stupid? Or is she so used to having yes people around her yes and like, maybe she’s just so used to getting the good edits and is assuming that she’s going to and this might be taking her by surprise as well as she’s watching, yeah, as she’s watching exactly this trip. Gotta love it. They’re in San Diego. The big activity of this episode is they go out on this yacht with the hot captain. Sutton thinks he’s Hap. He’s hot. I thought he was cute. He was cute. Yeah, you like, I don’t blonde men, just don’t do it for me. Here we go again. I know Kathy is being the cathiest A lot of people were in my DMs. Like saying, like, her thing with telling the chef how to barbecue was not a catheism, and it was actually just showed how bossy and rude she is. What did you think I feel like, if you’re throwing the party and you’re throwing everybody that you’re doing the yacht, it it is within your purview to be a part of how the sausage is being made. It surprises me, and I don’t I didn’t think it was so much as her being quirky as more of her just being somebody who entertains a lot, but see, and I don’t have a ton of hired help, because I’m not at Hilton, but I feel if I were privileged in the way that I could, I would be totally hands off. But maybe I’m wrong, maybe because my husband and I are the ones manning the barbecue and making the drinks and everything like I see that, and I’m like, Girl, go sit down and relax. This is why you hired somebody. No, I’m not a detail person like that with parties. I don’t want to have to deal with the details. I want to have a drink. And, yeah, yeah, yeah. She just continues to amuse me. We have Erica, who is being soft, and then we have Sutton. So Erica is really, I think, being playing the supportive friend. And I don’t say playing in a way to imply that she’s not being genuine, but I think that’s really where Erica is right now is that she’s being the supportive friend, and is probably a little bit relieved that the spotlight isn’t on her and her divorce and the cases and the earrings, et cetera. But Sutton, who has often been at odds with Dorit, sits down with dorit says she’s here for her. Even offers that if things go that far, to go and sit in the divorce mediation room with Dorit, which I thought was it’s it. We’ve had so many conversations about divorce before, and to just to offer to help her through that, I thought was great. And then she sees how much dorit is hurting, and tries to get everybody to rally around her, and then for all of their friendships by doing that binding ceremony,
which was odd, but yeah, right on cue for for Sutton. Listen Sutton and dorit conversation on the boat. I loved it. I think that dorit as Sutton’s wing girl when they when Sutton had the little crush on the captain. I loved all that energy. So then when they started fighting in the Sprinter van, those evil little Sprinter vans, listen to read is beyond. On edge. Yeah, on edge to the max. And she’s saying that she’s I feel alone. I am overwhelmed. And I really liked Erica acknowledging her situation and how difficult it is. I think that Erica also relates so much to dorit and feels for her, because, unlike Sutton’s experience with divorce and Kyle’s experience, Dorit is having serious money issues, as Erica did, and I’m sorry that is a whole different layer. Yeah, yeah, coupled with the fact that dorit has two young children that she has to be concerned about paying for their futures. She’s fearful for a lot of reasons. And I just, I think that we’re all enjoying seeing because there was a point in Erica even acknowledges it in her confessional, where she was so hard and so explosive and so volatile with the viewers, with her castmates, like with the whole thing that we forgot that Erica’s always had an ice princess way about her, but we used to see the softer side, and we’re seeing that again, yeah, and I like seeing it because I do believe, I think Erica probably is a really good friend to her friends, and I’m liking seeing this side of her. I have to agree with you that Erica also understands what dorit is going through and this extreme fear she must be feeling because dorit has been lived in a certain level of luxury, but has these two children, while she doesn’t seem to acknowledge her money.
Problems. It seems to be pretty well known that they’re happening. Yeah, I do think Erica understands, on a different level what Dorita is going through. The crazy thing about that fight on the Sprinter van is that Sutton actually was trying to bring up the fact that Erica said something under her breath and was really just trying to call her out for it to say, don’t say something in a stage whisper that we can all hear. Don’t talk behind somebody’s back in front of them. But dorit is seeing spread that everywhere she looks. She just tries to jump down Sutton’s throat without actually hearing her out because Sutton was actually trying to stand up for dorit again. you know what it is, Amanda, and I’ve said it since the first episode of this new season, and seeing Dorit, his reaction to her split. Dorit is realizing the split is for real, in real time, because they’ve been split for a lot longer. I think I have that in the notes. And we’ve talked about, I mean, we had talked about him living in a hotel orphanage all the way back when she was in Broadway, yes, but I think that dorit had an implicit trust in PK, and I think she really believed that they would work it out. And I think she feels like she’s lost that, and she’s very lost and doesn’t know who to trust. So even in that conversation where Sutton was sticking up for her, she didn’t hear it like she is on the defensive in such a way? Yeah, I think I agree. I also want to get your feelings on Garcelle. I’ve always loved Garcelle. I really do not like the way that she is treating dorit. It feels straight up mean girl. I Everybody knows she’s had her feelings about tariff, but why does she feel the need to pile on to dorit when dorit is going through all of this, I’m with you. I think that it’s a situation where she doesn’t need to necessarily give her support, but she doesn’t need to make it worse. Yeah, like, that’s the saying of you don’t okay if you don’t want to be her friend, but you don’t have to be her enemy either. It’s mean spirited, and it’s not how I’ve seen Garcelle, and it really puts her in a different light. For me, I agree with you. So the rumor that PK and dorit split is just for the show, a solid source with inside knowledge tells me that, for an absolute fact, the split is real. Dorit grew up in a very tight knit family, and this is very hard for her. She did really think the split was temporary and that she and PK would work it out, and they’ve, as we just said, been split for a lot longer, and now on camera, she’s learning that PK is done and their marriage is over, and it’s a real choice of his to allow his wife to really comprehend the ending of their marriage on camera. It’s a real choice. What do you say? Are you saying? You think it’s cruel that he Yes, is making it final, and that she and that he’s doing this on camera. I think he needs that check so bad. And he knew that she was on the verge of being cut. And again, this is my opinion in how I’m interpreting what we’re seeing that he almost you saw when they were sitting out, when they were out to dinner. And she was like, but we talk five times a day. And she was going with this whole narrative that she started with, we support each other, we blah, blah, blah, blah. And he was like, that’s not going to be happening. That was the first time she had heard that. That was the first time that it wasn’t a screaming match, and they were sitting having a conversation, and he said, You make me feel it. He you make me feel emasculated, and all of these things. She said, this is the first time I’m hearing it like this, and we’re not in the middle of a fight, so you mean to tell me Amanda, that he couldn’t have carved out a time without the cameras there to say, Listen, this is how I’m feeling. And so then if he says it on camera, it softens the blow, yeah, and then they’re not, she’s not gonna, she’s not gonna flip out and get no a huge, nasty fight with him in public or on camera. So that rumor started.
Carlos King, who you guys might remember, used to be a producer for New Jersey, and I want to say Atlanta. Yes, Atlanta. He was actually Mimi’s first producer. Oh, that’s right. And he was Teresa’s producer. So he’s got a couple of icons under his belt, yeah, and I do enjoy him. He said on his podcast that this PK alcohol thing is because they need the money and that the divorce is a fake storyline. He says that dorit has nothing to lose because they are in such dire need of fun. I’m wondering. I actually could see them playing up the alcohol thing. So that dorit has a storyline? Yes, Part I agree with, although I think he probably is an alcoholic, so yeah, but they’re letting him her talk about it and and, like I said, a lot of people want to have a little reason that you can just put in a box for why people get divorced. It’s easier for people outside of divorce to understand something like that, that, Oh, he has an alcohol problem, so they’re getting divorced. That is a more Pat reason. But no, I’m with you. I don’t think that the divorce is fake. She seems to be truly in pain, and I’m feeling for her. I 100% agree, and I’m happy we have Jennifer Tilly there, because she’s bringing like, quirky energy and funny, really enjoying bars. Wow. Yeah, I want to see more about this guy. He’s such a, yeah, that’s cute in that picture. Oh, I like that. I was like, Okay, we’re gonna get a real full housewife here. She’s just very interesting to me. And I think that her, I think that she’s clearly, she’s very smart and very accomplished, and she just, she’s getting it right away, like meaning getting the women and getting the dynamics, and because it’s It can’t be easy to walk into that and find your footing, even if you’re a fan forever, and you walk in like to actually be there. So yeah, I think this is a amazing season so far. And being new her, being new to the whole group and the situation lends her a position to be able to be the one who can come out and say this fights about way more than what they’re actually fighting about on camera. Because the other woman can’t really say that, because they’ve been involved to a certain extent of what’s going on, and they don’t want to touch it, but Bose can. So I’m enjoying I am really enjoying her. And I agree. I think Jennifer Tilly has this just lightness and like this light hearted spirit about her that I am very much looking forward to seeing we might too, if we were cashing those Simpson checks. Oh,
no, seriously, New York, let’s talk, because Puerto Rico is finally here. And it was weird watching the episode for me, because I’m like, I know, because and the cocktails know that the Puerto Rico trip is where this season ends. And they actually ended filming earlier than planned, because of what goes down in Puerto Rico, and we know that there is going to be an explosive clip or explosive fight with Brynn and Uber, and it’s coming, and we’re not there yet, so we don’t see that yet, but what we do see is, my God, these ladies are being so petty. Uber Cy Bryn are being so petty, Erin trying to keep the peace, all of them talking behind her back. Something that stands out to me, and I’ve noticed that the last couple of episodes is how much Psy eggs on the anti Erin conversation, but then doesn’t say much. It’s like Psy really can’t stand her. And it’s funny because on their Instagram size like posted, I think, like she’s closest with Uber and Erin talk about doing the most to try to stay on the show, like postseason, because it’s my feeling that the show’s getting a shake up, and it’s my feeling that, of all the women, Erin is the safest. It bothers me. Uber has the patience of a gnat. She seems to hate being on reality television, and I just don’t want to watch somebody like that. And she obviously, I understand why they cast her, because I’m sure she has a fabulous, interesting life, and God knows, she’s beautiful, but we don’t get to see it, and we just see her trying to shut down stuff and trying to hide stuff and call everybody pigeons when they try to make the show interesting. And bye, yeah, I can’t. I really can’t stand her. I don’t really, I don’t want to enjoy it when she’s on the screen. I don’t think what she is saying. I don’t like it. And like we see Erin tiptoeing around her to not have her blow up. And even said when they were doing the food pantry, I think it was her and Brin, I don’t even want to go there, because she’s allowed to yell and scream at us however she wants, but if we say anything to her, it’s so offensive, and everything else, I think. And God knows, brynn’s not perfect, but I think that we know why they have a huge blow up, because everything’s a huge blow up. Picking a room was a huge blow up, too. That’s right.
Mom, I could not with I patty is so true with Erin. Then end up ending up taking that room, by the way, Erin had or sharing the room. Erin has a lot of kids. Erin has been going through a terrible time, personally with her mom sick at this point, I think her dad is was just having some health problems, but is still living and it’s just funny to me that the self centeredness of all these women, which, of course, makes sense, because that’s often who’s going to make good reality TV. Cy is just so smug and just has this, I don’t give a shit. I think, I don’t think she likes anybody, to be honest. And Uber, does she, though really like her? Yes, and it’s, I don’t know. She’s playing her friend. And she eggs her on. She does not try to calm her down. If that’s the closest person to her, which seemingly it is, she eggs her on. It freaking annoys me. And she sits there, cool as a cucumber, while Uber is completely in meltdown mode. Yeah, I was literally right there with Erin when she had her outburst, calling it like saying that she’s in Looney Ville. I’m like, this is the most bizarre conversation. It’s just odd and that. So I can’t even come up with reasons why she’s saying that Erin does bizarre stuff, but she’s, oh, it’s just bizarre. Yeah, so strange. Uber refusing to stay in the room, throwing a fit. I am over her diva behavior. Brynn, I get it. She just went in there and took the room, very Ramona esque. When Raquel said I saw Uber’s apartment, I don’t know what she’s flipping out about. She lives in a little apartment, I thought that was funny shade. Can we all can we discuss how there’s Uber and cy are saying Erin gaslights them? Erin, in my opinion, is trying to make a good show. And yes, she’s resorting to pranks, which, God knows the pregnancy prank was a bad one, and repeating what people say, because she’s trying to have a show. And Rebecca is an absolute bore. Jenna is just there. It’s okay if she’s like a neutral Narrator type, but then the rest of them need to be interesting, and cy isn’t, and Uber’s annoying me. Raquel awesome. She’s bringing ed per Jessel is quirky and can get in the mix. So as of today, I am keeping Erin Raquel and Jessel, maybe Jenna as a friend of narrating things. You know me, I’m not a huge fan the rest of them. Rebecca, who Uber have fun in Connecticut with your man. And I actually think of all of them, Uber would be the most inclined to walk because she seems to really hate it. And if things are going well with her man, and he’s wealthy and she’s has a successful career, she may just bow out. Psy is the, like, biggest joke to me, because it’s so obvious that, like, between seasons, that she wanted to be on it, and she’s acting like she’s too cool for it, and you’re not just a lot of cool women in New York City. Yeah, for sure, I’m conflicted with Bryn, because I think with other women, Bryn could be good, like we really enjoyed Bryn last season, so I’m conflicted whether or not we take her or leave her we keep her in our cast. Yeah, weirdly enough, Jenna admitting that she is having some money problems makes me a little more interested in her. You know what? I mean? Yes, we’re we see a little more, maybe vulnerability from her. Yeah, it was annoying me. Rebecca, complete snore, sigh. I could, I’m on the fence, actually, with her. She’s, I think she’s just fine, I will say, because you guys know I have been a big run fan, and even at the beginning of the season, when a lot of people are turning against her. I’m like, Oh no, I still like her, and I actually think I see her point. But this specific episode, I feel like I really saw this manipulative and kind of mean side of Brynn, and I’m not having it. Yeah, she does. She takes one kernel of truth and then she’s poking Erin and getting Erin all twisted up when it’s just not really necessary. And as ubis tells everybody that they just made up friends tell me everything you think Aaron’s a bitch, yeah, oh, that’s not at all what she said. And I didn’t, I didn’t love this. I’m the teacher. a new initially with Rebecca. First of all, I think Brynn is deeply jealous of Rebecca’s success with her brand like she tried to shade her with Nordstrom Rack. Listen, I can call Rebecca a bore. I can say that the Scientology part’s a little weird. What I will not do is discount the fact that she started a million, a billion dollar business. Rebecca Minkoff is a brand’s name like Michael Kors, like Kate Spade, like so many successful she’s a boss like Brynn is jealous of that period. End of story. I get the sense that Rebecca probably wasn’t warm initially. I bet she’s probably a bit of a stop. Who knows? Maybe Rebecca has snubbed her in the past. Bryn did brand marketing and all that kind of stuff. So there may be some like history there that isn’t like deep history, but enough for Brynn to dislike her, whereas, like someone like Jenna, she like pandered to her success with Rebecca, we’re seeing the complete opposite. Maybe it’s because Brynn sees herself as more of a known person. Now maybe she wouldn’t pander to Jenna if this was her first season. You know what I mean, if it was Jenna’s first season, it’s cheap to take shots at her sixth off. Yes, and I agree with everything you said about Brynn. But something that really bothered me was because I saw it. I saw Rebecca’s comment as fairly innocent, even though we all know not to say that, like as moms. Yeah, you guys. So for you guys. So you guys, know, Rebecca and Bryn get no fight because of the room situation. And Rebecca is saying, I was hoping to have my own room because I have four kids. Bryn just discounts that and says, I am busy, too. And Rebecca says, You’ll understand when you have kids to bring. So in my head, I’m like, okay, Rebecca probably instantly regretted this, but I really thought it was nasty in the pool when I don’t know which one, if it was Erin or Jenna, they were like, yeah, she didn’t mean you didn’t mean it like that. You just meant, like, we get it when you’re when you have young kids that crawl into your bed in the middle of the night. She’s Oh no. But they were like, knowing what Britain’s going through and how she wants kids and froze her eggs, and Rebecca goes, Oh, that’s why I said it. And I was like, ill, okay, nasty bitch. Yeah, I honestly, I was on Rebecca side, me too. I was in that was a slip up, but Britain’s making too much of it. But then when she said that, I was like, fuck her. And having had small kids, you understand, it’s just being able to sleep in your own bed feels a break, like a vacation, but doubling down and saying that she meant to say it that is nasty is exactly the word yes. Okay, so quickly and we’re gonna wrap up on New York. But a cocktail messaged me and said, can we pull the story? Can we pull the folks on brynn’s behavior towards Jenna and Raquel? If that was a guy going up to female and stripping down and pushing head into cleavage, people would react differently. Say, assault. I think it’s very different. Obviously, men and women, regardless of your orientation, it just is. But here’s the thing, it’s playful. And like at first, I did see it as condescending or patronizing, but then going back to what the Bish therapist said when she was on our pod about how Brynn does, what did she call it the baby routine, sexy baby routine. And it made me think, a light bulb went off when this person sent me this and I said it actually makes me sad for her, because she’s made flirting and her physical attraction like the way she navigates socially and the way she appeals to men, and so it makes sense that it translates for her with women and why we see her have a harder go of it with her platonic, and I don’t want to say platonic, because obviously she’s platonic with Raquel and Jenna, but with straight women, Brynn clearly has a harder time, and it made me feel sad for her, because she’s made like her trauma so much a part of her how she views people accepting her? But right? Apparently, yeah, no, she can’t go over to Aaron and motorboarder. That would just be like random she could, but it wouldn’t have the same effect. And now that we know that she’s been sexually assaulted, flirting with lesbians probably feels like a safe way to do the sexy baby.
Your routine, because she doesn’t have to worry about being hurt again, being assaulted. But apparently, Russian billionaires love her. Oh, my God, it’s so true, though, how many Russian billionaires are there, and why are they all calling her? But that also goes back to her being intimidated or feeling less than Rebecca. When she’s I’m busy, I have a puppy, Russian billionaires call me in the middle of the night, and I’m like, No, you’re just she doesn’t understand it. And it’s that I wouldn’t say it that harshly the way that Rebecca did, but it’s true, and you have small children, and it’s just there’s almost that, like you sleep with one eye open all the time too. The thing about it is I do understand where people who either have chose not to have children or have fertility issues can have children don’t yet have children. I do understand how it can come off, because even myself, I post things sometimes where I’m like, every mom gets this and like, cocktails will message me and be like, I get it, and I’m like, perfect example Mary and Robert’s conversation, which we definitely have to happen to Salt Lake City. Because I know people are like, enough with Roni. But I posted like, every mother felt this. And to be fair, after I posted that, of course, when I post things, or when anybody does, it’s from my perspective, but certainly I’m an aunt as well. I’m a surrogate heir to my friends. So certainly when and many DMS did say, like, I don’t have kids, but I have a nephew, or I have a niece, or I have my best friend’s kid, and so I can relate, of course, right? So I try to be mindful of that, because I do think it comes off condescending. As a mom, I feel like when I hear things like that in my head, I’m like, Well, that was condescending, but it is something that if you’re not a mom and you don’t have kids that crawl into your bed and listen, some moms are freaking very lucky, and their kids don’t. Both of my kids crawled into my bed like I get it. Yeah, I had many a nights where I was touched out, and you just, like, I said, you sleep with when I open because you’re just so used to like being somebody, or if they don’t call in bed with you, like somebody I don’t feel good, and they’re answered when they’re little and they have a fever, and you’re like, oh God, like one of my children had a febrile seizure when they were A baby, and I have never slept well since, yeah, yeah, that happened with my son too. It was, yeah, so scary. Scary, so scary. Okay, let’s talk about Salt Lake City, because we haven’t been talking about it as much. So we got to start with and it’s so good. We’re not talking about it because it’s that good. It’s so timing hasn’t worked out right with when the show comes on and when we’ve recorded, because it is so good. The scene was Mary coming late to Meredith Bat Mitzvah, and can’t see inside, and poking in everybody can watch her through the window. It’s Mary’s gotta marry. And that was the merriest of Mary moments. I was really happy to see that she and Meredith genuinely made up. I saw a meme that said something like, If Salt Lake City was any more silly, it would be a freaking cartoon. There are parts of it that are so silly, and it’s what makes it so good. The new Mary is incredible. I loved that she was there for Meredith, and it seemed to be a really genuine conversation, and that’s something I like about Mary, especially now that her guard’s down. Because me, I don’t believe that Mary is capable of faking the funk. I think that she is a person that is mostly what you get. And yes, their friendship is a little bit odd, and it did seem Meredith was trying to throw her a life vest, and maybe production even was like, listen, you’re the only one who Mary doesn’t have an issue with. But from that, I think a real friendship did evolve. So Meredith, we haven’t seen the biting remarks either. She definitely has her kind of shady things that she still says, but it’s that that being on edge and quick with the mean remark is we’re not seeing that as much from her this season. She’s boring us this season, but Angie, okay, now I love Angie, but she does do a lot. When they showed the clip of her throwing the chair and all like those little things, the high body count hair comment was hysterical, but I think it’s always where it’s coming from. And I do think that Angie as a woman married to the same man for 20 plus years, hurling that at a divorcee who’s in the dating world, it felt icky. And I did get where Meredith was coming from, and I get Roman’s point that Britney started it, but it was behind her back. It wasn’t like it’s different. It did feel a little slut Shamy to me. It did to me as well. And I used I think Brittany is just an easy target. I think if Heather said it, because Heather’s also a divorcee, and in the dating world, I don’t think I would have seen it that way. I think when a married the way that a married woman, and not just a married woman, but somebody who’s been with, it’s almost the implication that Angie is.
Just like a Puritan because she’s been with the same man her whole life, kind of thing that made it seem shaming, yeah, and when she was clearly dressed like a slut herself, I’m just saying. I’m not knocking it, Angie looked gorgeous. I loved her dress. She’s got the body. If you got it, flaunt it. I 100% am there, and if I had that, I would wear it. But with that being said, it’s not like she was wearing a turtleneck herself, like her breast implants were completely out, and they looked lovely. And I say I think her boobs looked great in that dress. did want to quickly touch on this week’s episode on Mary scene with Angie, where she tells Angie what’s been going on with Robert, and she also has some they cut in some scenes from the confessional, her genuine her grief, and this feeling that it’s her fault and that it’s her responsibility to help him get help because He asked for it. These are feelings that, again, we don’t want to say that any mother, we don’t want to make anything exclusive to him, really, any person with a loved one, right? And to hear him say that he felt like he was a stain. And Mary says, I tried for four months to have him, or for she say four years, she’s four years, maybe, yeah, and he’s an only child. So you make from that that she wasn’t able to have more because she so enjoys being a mom, and clearly she can financially afford it, that it makes your mind go, Well, maybe she wasn’t, and maybe Robert Jr was the only child she was able to conceive, just that feeling of helplessness and yes, and then she confides in Angie, and Angie, so far, at least, seems to be keeping that secret with her. I got to imagine the other woman have to know that there’s something going on with Mary, because she doesn’t come. She doesn’t come on the plane with everybody to Puerto Vallarta. She says she’s coming, but she wants to make sure that Robert Jr is okay. And I really enjoy that they’re not speculating and gossiping about it, because this isn’t something that is gossip worthy. And as a matter of fact, on Watch What Happens Live. Was it last night? I think it was Wednesday night. Heather, who her and Mary have certainly had a roller coaster friendship. Heather said, she said that Angie and Mary’s relationship is very real, and it’s a very special connection, and that she is so happy that Mary has that at this time, because she really needed it. And, yeah, I just thought it was really, you can see that Heather really felt for Mary, and you can feel for somebody and yet not be the appropriate person to be. Like, in other words, it was like, Heather was like, I’m so happy she has Angie, because if she didn’t and she were on the show, it would be really hard for her to navigate it. And Angie really helped her, yeah? So I thought that was really nice. Yeah, it was really nice. What Heather said, Southern charm is back. I am really happy about it. I have to say, watching, yeah, it feels like home. Watching that first episode gave me a lot of hope for the season, because I think there’s been a lot of talk about, can they continue to go on this way? And I am. I think it’s just, it’s a good cast, and I think it’s some people just make good reality TV. Yeah, like Austin Shep and Craig are just good TV. Craig doesn’t need to be sleeping with Taylor. Who’s Sheps ex girlfriend for it to be good? Yes. Does that make it extra good? Yes, but it’s not necessary. They’re always going to be good TV. Yeah, I agree. But with one, it.
Oh, exception. I Let’s talk about weirdo JT and Vanita and their relationship of convenience. Listen to me. It reads like they’re both looking to remain relevant. Without Olivia on the cast and with leva not a main player, Vanita isn’t tight with anyone. I personally. I like her. I enjoy her. She’s just not filming with her close group of friends, and it shows we know now that JT quit and that him and Vanina are no longer speaking, and I wonder if she was in on the fake dating interested in each other’s storyline that we’ll see later in the season, because I just don’t get the vibe that she’s into him in that way. I think that she finds him silly, and maybe she likes him as a friend, and they really do chat. And I think that if the show didn’t exist, they probably wouldn’t. So they’re like allies for each other, but romantically, come on. Yeah, no, there’s no way. And I also think that it’s pretty clear editing. When he says, are you interested in me? And she says, Yeah, or whatever, and she’s looking off, I think that’s just an editing thing. I think we’ll see that. I just Kiat with him. I see his face, and I want to look away from the screen. He just gives me the ick there is. I have a real aversion to that dude. Yes, really. And we’ve got a lot of icky dudes on over the years on Bravo. But he’s up there. There’s just something in there that I’m like, I just think there’s something, you know, you just get feelings about people, and I just don’t think there’s something, I think there’s a lot more that is we’re not seeing. I don’t think we would like anyway. So Shep, Craig and Austin go to Chef’s farm, which is yet another piece of property that Shep has that we haven’t seen. We’re actually pretty this family have like, I feel like every season we see a couple for real, so obvious, they’re old money too. Because if you ever know anyone with old money, they drive Volvos and they don’t have brand new kitchens, but they have 15 houses. You know what I mean? So old money, so true. But shop has now apparently turned a new leaf after doing an Ayahuasca awakening experience in Costa Rica Shep, who has he’s lost weight, he’s jogging. He feels as if Craig and Austin weren’t there for him when he was at his lowest after bravocon, when he was blackout drunk all weekend. Listen, I thought it was nice to see a mature conversation between three grown adult men, but it felt a lot like Shep was bullshitting. He talks about changing, but both Craig and Austin are like, Dude, you’re still out on King Street acting a freaking fool. Austin even says, people don’t see me trying to get him out of the police cuffs when he’s acting wild and I understand. He says, Oh, my journey isn’t perfect. Got it. I got pictures and emails a couple weeks ago about him in a sorority house, like wasted, like you’re 45 maybe older, and why is Taylor back? The fact I get, okay, I get Olivia, oh, because she had the boyfriend in Dallas, and now it’s a fiance and whatever. But she was such a she was a more interesting person, and she would film with Vanita, and I just She’s friendly with Madison. I really liked Olivia. I think she’s a person of substance. And I just find Taylor to be like a gnat flying around my head, a beautiful gnat, but a gnat nonetheless. She’s another one who doesn’t seem to have a real connection with anyone on the show. Now, yeah. I really liked Molly, the new girl. She seemed a little quirky. I liked though, how she talks about having been a model and that she’s had some health issues, that she’s gained weight. I like that too. I felt like it was very relatable, especially on this show where the women are always like, picture perfect. Yes, exactly. Not that. Molly isn’t I don’t mean she say that there’s very thin, but I guess conversation like Southern charm is a show that I watch, and I’m like, How to all these women stay so thin. Yeah, this is pre ozempic, guys. Pre ozempic. Yeah. Okay. Question for you, do you think this thing where she says that she’s interested in Whitney? Do you think this is real? Listen, I gotta tell you something, Whitney, let’s not forget is a producer on the show, and I do think there is this thing, whereas if I sleep with him, I can get on the show. Does anybody believe that he’s ready to settle down? No, do I think it’s possible that beautiful, smart women like Molly, are attracted to him? Yes, because I think that when you get in his orbit, I think he’s smart and he’s interesting, and he’s very wealthy, and he has a lot of power, both in Charleston and with the network as a producer. So I do think that it can be genuine that she’s into him. And I can tell you that they had the New York City, they had the premiere for the show in New York City, at Austin and Craig’s restaurant, carriage house, and she and Whitney were spotted at the mark Hotel. I’m not saying they were like, going in the room together, but they were hanging together after hours. Yeah, whether they’re having a sexual relationship or not, or just it, you’re right, it’s it. It wouldn’t. It wouldn’t.

I know Larry went, but listen, it was midweek. It is December. I’m between kids and Christmas concerts and my husband’s work schedule and my work schedule. I couldn’t make it happen. I wish it would have been during a different part of the year, but it looks the restaurant looks beautiful. I can’t wait to go and check it out. I’m very excited. I think southern charm season looks really good. I love Madison too. I just love when she’s on the screen, she’s so funny. And it’s really just a good show. It’s a feel good show, and it’s almost in a way, easier to watch than housewives, because, I think, because it’s men and women, breaks it up. Yeah, I agree. I think the drama doesn’t feel as maybe dramatic. Oh, and congratulations to Lindsay Hubbard on the birth of her daughter, Gemma Britt. That’s right, such a cutie. And I want to say something, because some of you guys messaged me. I believe she was born maybe on my birthday. By the way, she was either born on like the sixth or the seventh. But I want to say something yesterday, she posted from the hospital bed with the Jimmy John sandwich, and it was obviously a paid ad. And they were like, how tacky Mama’s gonna eat like she is, has baby, and this is her career. I don’t think it was tacky. This is what? Oh my gosh, too, guys, too. All you want is a freaking deli sandwich. Yes, pregnant because you can’t have it. Yes, that, to me, that was literally one of the that sushi. Yes, and were the first three things that I wanted. And we had a we had sold sandwich delivered to the hospital. Yes, I had a bottle of a second. Yes, same I had, I had Prosecco, wine, salami, like Italian hero.
