S**p just spent a week at Rythmia in Costa Rica which is an Ayahuaska resort. I went last year and follow their socials. It looks like a couple of other mild celebrities were also there at the time which is not uncommon.
Many people do believe aya helps addiction but that isn’t the main reason people take it. When I was there Bobby Brown was also there 😂😂😂 if that tells ya anything. The place is called Rythmia. Ayahuaska is illegal in the states so people travel to places like Costa Rica and Peru to take the medicine and heal.
Interesting that the week aligned with the the airing of the reunion. Probably for the best. You are basically off grid for 7 days during the retreat. It is Saturday to Saturday always.

So I work in the alternative medicine world, and my boss actually went on one of these retreats and said it like changed everything for him and is much better and happier and understands his path. I hope it works for Shep.
Hope it helps Shep find peace & positive change
I like to know what the poster thinks that people take ayahuasca for if it’s not for healing. I’ve done it three or four times and it changed my life.
I have friends who have been to Rythmia and had life changing experiences (one friend went for alcohol addiction). It takes effort & support after the ayahuasca healing journey to stay sober but can be a great first step.
Good for Shep trying to get help. Using ayahuasca is a great alternative way to explore some deep rooted issues HOWEVER it’s the integration and work that happens after that that creates change. I hope Shep can do that work and isn’t just trying this becuz he thinks it’ll be a quick fix. It’s really scary to see someone clearly have a problem and address is at the reunion, but not say they are quitting drinking
I hope Shep finds the peace he needs. He has a lot of potential and it’s never too late for changes. I hope to see him back next season in his happiest stage of life!
