71. Summer House’s Lindsay and Carl’s Separate Statements; Marriage Trouble in Charleston? It’s Getting Salty in SLC

The Summer House breakup continues to be messy. Carl’s email to wedding guests is “leaked” to People Magazine, and we break it down. Is he accepting fault for calling the wedding off? Then, Lindsay shares a statement on Instagram…saying she is “humiliated” and has “no answers or closure on why”. Ouch. Southern Charm is premiering this week, and is there a couple in trouble in Charleston? Plus we have an update on Naomie Olindo’s court case. Okay, so we today has been an interesting day. Today is Thursday, we got the Lenzi statement coming, what a couple of days off of I feel like email being leaked. So I feel like you’re gonna have to read the email, which by the way, guys, this was posted to cocktail party, we have the full email, which does reveal something which is that you know, you’ll hear it. Yeah, email first, right, because that email first Lindsey statement just came out an hour ago. Yes. You know, there are some weeks where Amanda and I like text each other and we’re like, do we have enough and like, you know, in the summer, it’s kind of slower. This week is not one of those. It’s not, it’s definitely not yet planned to talk about Salt Lake City. We had some Beverly Hills stuff. And yeah, the people want summer house so that people are gonna get what they want. Well, and there’s been a lot of activity. So yeah, so I guess it was Monday that there was a leak of an email that Carl sent to all of the wedding guests from the joint wedding email account. The name on the email account is Lindsay and Carl Radke. But he did not run this email by her or speak with her about it. And it was in fact, sent to her as well. Can you imagine being
we don’t know if he tried to contact her and she just was giving him like icing him out. But he did send it out before her approval. And I have to imagine that if he had contacted someone close to her and said, like, Listen, I’m gonna send this email because you guys will see at the end of the email. Yeah, he did work it out with the resort that this was sent on Monday, if people cancelled by Wednesday, the 13th they were gonna get a full refund, which he had to have worked out with the resort because guests did share that. I believe in August, something it was like, if you cancelled after that it was you’d only get 50% back. So obviously the resort worked with them. Yes. And the scenario could be that Carl did try to reach out to her couldn’t get a hold of her. But let me read the full letter because we got the full copy that was leaked to us. This is not what was in people mag, we got the full thing. Okay. Family and friends words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been. For Lindsey and I. We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves. There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made all this all the more painful. But sadly, at this time, we are not moving forward with the wedding. The fact of the matter is Lindsey is devastated and I’m crushed with how all this transpired.
I graciously asked for some patience and grace to heal and recover. While we navigate this extremely difficult time, I know your commitment of money and time was already a lot, which I don’t take lightly. We are super grateful for the love and support you have shown us. And we’ll do what I can to help with any costs associated with changing plans. I know many folks are going to make the most of it and still go on a vacation, given the great group rate. And since travel plans are already in place, if you decide to go, your airport transfers will still be covered by us as a courtesy. Below are the options available to you sent to us by beachy vows. Option one, keep your travel plans and reservation at the negotiated group rate. You don’t need to do anything if this is your selection, your reservation will remain intact, without any next steps from you. Option two, if canceling by this Wednesday, 913 at 12pm. Eastern Time, a refund of the room costs will be provided by the hotel, you must submit this form there’s like a forum which will be which will remain open until Wednesday. This is the only step you need to take if canceling option three, if cancelling after this Wednesday, the original cancellation penalty from the hotel will remain in place, the hotel will not be able to move your reservations to new dates, since negotiated rates are not able to be offered in the future, given the special terms around it. I’m sorry, again, this has become such a mess. Thanks for your unconditional love and support. During this tough time. We’ll be in touch with with further details further updates with love, Carl. Okay, my initial reaction beyond the fact that it’s very poorly written and clearly he doesn’t have any PR or assistant or whatever.
He goes in and out of speaking we and then he goes to i. And here is my issue with that. If you’re going to do we,
then do we all the way but I don’t think he should have. I don’t think he should have done we at all, because what he should have done was he should have taken accountability for the fact that he called it off at the last minute after people could cancel. And Lindsay wasn’t expecting it. And he was sorry. And he worked out with the resort. And he could even have said, I tried to contact Lindsay I understand why she was not ready or in the frame of mind to author this letter with me. So I am writing. I am writing it on my own.
Due to the fact that I worked out this deal that expires Wednesday, and I want you all to have the opportunity to get a full refund if you don’t want to take a vacation. Yeah. So it was purposely confusing. I don’t know it was ill advised. Well, nobody advised him he should have just everyone knows he called it off. Everyone knows she’s blindsided and devastated. He spoke for her by saying She’s devastated. It just he should have just said, I called off the reading. I apologize that I led you guys and you spent all this money, I worked out a deal with the resort. Here it is I’m hoping that in the future in the near future. Lindsay and I can talk this over and she can forgive me for doing all of this at the last minute. But as it stands, I have to get you guys your refund. So it’s just me sending it
so crazy, because in my notes, I’m like note, why is nobody talking about this detail? Which is Did you notice how he says and I quote, I know your commitment of money and time was already a lot which I don’t take lightly. So you reading it aloud to me highlighted that yes, he’s also wanting to take credit for In other words, if you’re going to do we do we all the way you shouldn’t have done it should have been I it should have been I threw in throw. And if you are going to do we the place to do it is exactly where he didn’t which is we know your commitment of money and time was already a lot. Right? He’s going out like a real motherfucker. Whatever you think about Lindsey.
Right now let’s read her statement. Well, I just had a couple of other things too. I just wanted to say about that. No, because I agree he’s he was talking for her, which is not cool. I think also though, it does kind of make it sound like based on that and a couple other things that he is taking responsibility for being the one to call off the wedding. Yeah. Don’t you think if it feels like that to me, I mean, to her statement, which I’m going to read he says
Certainly is saying I called it off, but he’s not. I can’t explain it. Well, no, he’s not calling. He’s not like taking responsibility for calling the wedding off in the most fucking awful way by doing it on camera.
And the other thing is like,
she had no input in this email. It should have just been from him and it should have been, even if just for his public image. It should have been like, I understand why I have to do this because I made this mess and I’m responsible to clean it up. So here is how you cancel. And why is he crushed? Good. It didn’t work out I guess. I don’t know. I don’t know. I think he felt probably felt like he sounded like a
total D bag if he didn’t say worded weird. She’s devastated and he’s crushed. Why can’t Why can’t they both be devastated? I don’t know. It is strange. Okay, we also got this email that said Carl was the one to call off the wedding like a douche. It says Pearl called off the wedding like a douche. Then he figured that they call it all off but want to quote unquote, work on the relationship. He’s humiliated her cheated on her and used her people close to Lindsay are seriously wondering if it was all an act for him. Because hell if he didn’t turn into a stranger overnight. So what a lot of you guys have said to me, is she doesn’t mention like she didn’t say, Okay, I’m going to read her statement. Okay.
She posted this to Instagram at about 11:50am On Thursday the 14th. I would like to start by saying thank you for allowing me the space and time to process my emotions heal and grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for eight years, the last two weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life. My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me. And I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all, with no answers or closures on why I feel humiliated by how it went down. And simultaneously heartbroken that had happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed. And coming to terms with that has been difficult for me. This was not my decision. And I do not agree with quitting a relationship in parentheses at this level, without trying everything possible. First, I have spent the last couple of weeks finding my own closure and peace. I am forever grateful to my best friends who have not left my side and have been picking up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fallout. I am still grieving and trying to process all that has happened. But I felt it was important to update you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the love and support for my friends, family, cast mates, and all of you for carrying me through Lindsay.
So she doesn’t she says there’s no answers or closure. So, you know, as far as the cheating
rumor? We don’t know that to be true. We don’t know if she just didn’t say it in there. We don’t know. Yeah. So his the email leaked on Monday. And you know what, Amanda? I just find it hard to believe that people magazine would print this letter if it came from a guest.
Yeah, just feel like the author of the letter would have given them permission. No, I think you’re 100%. Right, because there was actually not to nerd out on you guys. But that’s partly what I do. There was that court case that Meghan Markel and Prince Harry filed against one of the tabloids. This was a UK case, but they got they won the case, because the tabloid published the letter without the writer’s consent. So such a great point. B because it has to have been Carl who gave permission he had who leaked it and he had to be the one to get permission because People Magazine you’re exactly right. wouldn’t do it without permission. We know how these these, they all have different standards, right? And People Magazine has very high standards, and they’re not going to open themselves up to a lawsuit. Right. So it doesn’t make sense for them to have printed this without his permission.

the whole thing. I mean, yeah, I mean, it’s what happened and like that’s the thing is like because I one thing I am having a hard time
reading out in my head is that, you know, we saw Craig come on to an interview this week saying, yeah, it’s gonna make a lot more sense when you see all the fighting from this summer, however, okay, so All right, fine, but like, was Lindsay just so in lala land? Or was she really just so taken by the idea that wedding planning is stressful, like, everything will be fine after we just get through it like, is that what her headspace was? I’m gonna say something a little controversial.
I think that Lindsay is a complicated person. And I think that Lindsay has always had complicated relationships. I mean, we see her relationships on television. And I think that for Lindsay, I don’t think our expectation of marriage is that it’s just going to be a simple, easy run. So maybe although they were fighting, they always made up. And she just thought that was what her relationship would be. And quarrel led her to believe that they were getting married. So I really feel like the rug was pulled out from under her not that there weren’t issues in the relationship. Right. So what I’ve heard from more than one person, this is not coming from one source is that the reason didn’t Yeah, and we spoke, we’ve spoke about this on the pod months last season. The reason Danielle looks so crazy was because it was out of context, like Danielle had reasons to be concerned. But even when she wasn’t speaking to either Carl or Lindsey, she really protected those reasons. And she didn’t come out on the reunion and say them. And so it just made her look like she was projecting and she was jealous, when in reality, what we’re going to see from what I hear this season is there are a lot of issues in their relationship. And there is a lot of fighting. And I think some of it is I think a lot of it is that she is not sober and parties and he is sober. And I think that they have a spat and then they spend from Monday to Friday kind of making up. And maybe the next weekend, we’ll be okay. And it’ll go good for a couple of weeks. But then it rears its ugly head again.
Yeah, I also want to go so far as to say that there are people who have relationships like this, and Kyle and Amanda come to mind, and they’ve seemed to learn to,
like, move through it. Yeah, it’s been difficult. And we’ve seen them do it. And it seems they’re in a better place now. But some people, people have relationships fight, and obviously some relationships boyfriend and girlfriend, or married couple fight more than others. So one person’s throat, your threshold has to match the same way your sexual compatibility, like we spoke about that has to match. Like, if Amanda likes to do it every night. And her man likes to do it twice a month, they’re going to have issues in their relationship period.
So I do think there is something we talked about the scenario right? Where like they yes, they go to a party. Lindsay doesn’t want to go home because she’s still having fun. And she’s drinking and that causes issues. Right? I totally think there’s a, I think there’s something there. And like, I want to just come out there and say like, I actually guess wedding planning is stressful. But fighting all the way through it. Like that doesn’t sound right to me like, yes, there’s gonna be some things maybe you don’t just you don’t agree on or yes, it might be like, Why do we have to invite like, all 62 of your cousins, and I only have five like, and then like what you know, like things like that. But like fighting fighting feels to me, like, that’s a really, really strong word when you’re, you know, getting married. So that I always thought was kind of kind of interesting. I think they I think their financial issues had a big role in it, too. Yeah, I certainly weddings are very expensive. So certainly, that is a part of it. But like she said, she doesn’t have any answers, and she doesn’t have any closure. So there’s not an IT. Or if there is she’s not prepared to say it at this time. I just feel like so the part about it, I guess that everyone is so shocked about is why did he have the cameras go back up? Like he really wanted to get it on camera. I don’t even if there is an obligation, let’s say Amanda, that there’s an obligation and that he and Lindsay signed a contract. That said if you don’t get the cameras back up, you can never be on Bravo television again.
I’m fairly certain that you can negotiate something after the fact or say okay, or even
not let anyone know immediately leave everything quiet, give it a couple of weeks, let her go to Portugal with her friends. And then in two weeks call Bravo and be like we called it off. They don’t, they wouldn’t there’s no way they would know, right? Your closest friends that she would tell are not going to reach out to me or you or anybody and tell them, right. So it was him who got this out. It was him who allowed us two weeks to speculate. It was him who allowed time for all of these emails to come into my inbox to be posted for all this speculation and false narratives and all this. And another thing I want to say, you live your life on reality television. And you know, when you sign on that dotted line, it’s all good. It’s good. When you get in partnerships, it’s good when you get in business, it’s good when your brand takes off, but when shit goes down, you’re gonna get the same attention as when you release a new product as when you do an ad with TJ Maxx. So the good comes with the bad so I think Carl is responsible for this getting out but I don’t think myself or any other gossip outlet, all the accounts and whatever. Like I’m not supposed to feel bad he should feel bad.

He blindsided her pulled up the cameras. didn’t give her any warning didn’t do the scenario you just laid out. Let me ask you a question. Do you think there is a scenario in which the cheating rumors are true? But that he has not been truthful with her about that? Sure. Could that be part of why it’s just so like, light everything on fire overnight kind of situation? If you want to ask my honest opinion, I in my gut don’t think it’s cheating. That’s my that’s my opinion. I had the emails come in. I haven’t had I had those girls say they saw the girl in the bathroom and in a Loverboy event and she said she was pregnant I posted all that. I don’t think it was cheating. I think that I you know the thing about it is the thing that I’m trying to reconcile is his statement sounded angry like what you pointed out I know what a what a financial come in. I like that. And then the cameras going back up. And just the way that the sense is that he just like shocked her with this and did it in a nasty dirty Wait, even his classmates reactions. Page liked my repost of the statement. Danielle posted like she compared herself to Charlotte York, if this was done, where people felt like listen, Lindsay, I know you’re upset because you wanted to marry him. But this is the best decision and he did it in a in an appropriate way. The cat their mutual friends, these you know what I’m saying? So the fact that people are siding with Lindsey, nobody’s really spoken out. But we’ve seen enough to know that that they’re siding with Lindsey. Yeah. Yeah. We haven’t heard anybody publicly sided with Carl. I guess my question is, what is he so angry at her about? Because you can come he could have come to a point where he’s like, You know what? I love her. But our fighting and her are volatile weekends, and I can’t live like this. It’s not healthy for me. Right? Yeah. But it isn’t the same as being so mad at her. Right? Yeah. And I mean, people would understand to feel like, you know, like, she doesn’t want to stay sober. And I really feel like I need to stay sober. You know, and I need a partner who can support that. And like, people would understand that. Right? So I want to know why he’s so angry at her, or did he do something such as cheat? And is he sort of like, I don’t know, deflecting? Or right? Like, or could there? Could he just be like, I don’t want to hurt her more. So I’m not going to tell her the full truth. Well, like, why would he tell her the full truth? I mean, if he’s capable of doing it behind her back, if this is a thing, and again, we know that it is like, you know what I mean? Like, he’s not going to tell her why. So she can make a statement, so she can bring it up. I mean, she’s gonna find out I think, ultimately, yeah, if it’s true, we’re all gonna find out. I mean, this reunion will be interesting to say the very least, I know everyone’s statement. Now. His statement was that letter, he’s just going to duck out of it. Do you think they will fast track the recording of a reunion to get at peak anchor levels at peak shock levels? Or do you think they will wait, because at this point, we’re not going to see, they usually do they usually feel no union after the show has started to air? Right. So we won’t be looking at that filming? Until that wouldn’t be happening until at some point in 2024? Will you have to this isn’t the only storyline. So yeah, hands on. You can’t film it now. I mean,
I suppose they could do something like get all the girls on a couch and have Lindsay tell her story and have them do input and like get it raw and then show us after the fact Bravo again, call us. We got ideas over here. Well, because they need to get right they need to get that peak you’re you’re totally right that there’s other storylines. It’s kind of hard to even think about that. It’s unlikely other people haven’t seen anything play out. So like Paige doesn’t know that Amanda said something snarky about her and she won’t bring that energy. I’m making that up, obviously. But But ya know, we but we, at the same time, we were gonna see the guy the new guy in the house that she was hooking up with also made out with Danielle and they didn’t see her and now her and Danielle are pissed. Yeah, but we need the we need the peak outrage and peak shock. So they’ve got to do something interesting. I’m, you know, I’m I know it’s two weeks. And I just I’m just shocked by how it transpired because it’s really sad because Lindsay really trusted him and, like believed he was her best friend and she has trust issues already. And how does somebody like her who already is healing from the relationship of abandonment
with her mom, how does how does she? How does she move past this? And even his mom being on cat who she was so close with, even before they were together? I mean, she had a very close relationship with Carl’s mom. How does she How does she trust again? How does she find somebody else and trust them and trust their family and trust in general?
I mean, if I were Lindsay, I would be like, like, was Carl just wearing a nice guy suit for the last couple years? Like, what the fuck happened? You know? Because like, I don’t think anybody would have been that surprised if old Carl had done something like this, right? Because we’d seen him act like a total dick.
But it did seem like I still think he was a dick. But he was very committed and in love with her from what we saw from what she saw. He was wearing a nice guy suit. I don’t know, like, I don’t understand it like it is. It’s very jarring. What if all, can’t imagine used her for relevancy? And to stay on the show and to have a storyline and he was never really into it? And he freakin duped her the whole time. How about
villain, like, I don’t believe this was all fake on Lindsay’s end. I really don’t. Because I think that Lindsey is a is a woman in her mid 30s, who wants marriage and wants a family? I don’t think she’d waste two years of her life. If she was 28. Knowing her personality, would she maybe do this phony? Maybe. But I think that she’s somebody who wants a real relationship. I don’t see her at 35 years old, freezing her eggs wanting a family and wanting to be married? Why would she waste two years of her life? She wouldn’t. Now would he? Did it start he was into her. And then the train just started going. And he was like, Well, you know what? Look at us. We’re like, one of the top couples on Bravo. Like, all right. And he went and he went and then one day he woke up and he was like, Nah, yo,
there is a there is a piece of this puzzle that is missing. I hope it gets revealed. Because there’s something there’s something that we shake something maybe she did. Maybe they had a secret between them. I’m not. I’m not gonna say what that is. Is it? Is it that he had fallen? I’m making this up guys. This is my speculation. Is it that he had fallen off the wagon? And she told the girls in the house this summer, and he found out somehow from production? And he was like, Are you fucking kidding me? And that’s why he’s angry with her. And that’s why he called it off is Did she do something? That’s just an example of something that I would see as crossing the line in where you would call off a wedding? Did she in some way betray his trust to where he doesn’t feel bad about how he handled it? And is he not coming out and saying it now? Because he doesn’t really want people to know that thing? Because it’s a private thing? Or an embarrassing thing or a personal thing or something? He’s hoping he doesn’t have to admit to publicly? It could be? It could be it could be that it could be that there was cheating. It could be that. You know, I mean, the only other thing that would make any sense to me is that he actually realized back months ago, and realized that he wasn’t he didn’t want to do it. And then finally it got to the point where he was like, I can’t, you know, I can’t be in this charade anymore. That is the only other but like, there’s some I don’t know if there’s just a missing piece of information that we need to find. Yes. And it sounds like Lindsay needs to find it too. Because it sounds like she doesn’t know. I mean, that’s what she said in her statement. Oh, so so it’s a lot. Yeah. It’s a lot to move to southern charm. Yes. It’s premiering tonight. We haven’t seen it yet, guys, but it looks damn good. Yes, it does look good. I’m excited. I kind of want to start watching and actually, again, from the beginning. There were some folks talking about that on Discord on cocktail party. And so much of the cast has changed. That wouldn’t even like you worth it. But it was so crazy and chaotic at the beginning too. And like I kind of do want to just watch that stuff again. Anyway. Okay. So this email we got about Southern charm, it said someone’s husband was out and very flirty. He was not wearing his ring. Honestly, when I got the email, I thought the only person married his lover had completely forgotten that Madison is now married, right? Coincidentally, after I posted it, she posted a story. She was laying with her son and she’s like, ladies, we don’t need a man. We just need our son’s boy mom or something. Yeah. Immediately. I was like, oh, that’s what it’s about. That’s who it is. Exactly. Now, here’s the thing. People are speculating it’s Madison. Obviously it makes sense. She’s doing these cryptic posts. I don’t to be honest, I actually have Madison blocked because the whole a rod stuff that was the time that I was getting reported a lot so I just blocked everybody. But followers told me that her name on
Intel used to have his last name with hers and it’s not there anymore. Could she be doing this for attention for the upcoming season? Like if everything’s fine between them, and she knows he’s not out? Flirting? Is it possible that she’s just like, whatever. I mean, she’s thirsty. I wouldn’t put it past her. Or she just super dramatic and like mad that her husband was out, you know, watching college football day, and just being dramatic, you know, like, I could see her doing that too. And yeah, and we also remember her with Austin and how, like, small things will become huge flights fights where she would act like a loon like people can only change but so much. Yeah, but yeah, it is true. Do Hiren awesome. Get back together.

crazy that Madison and her husband will be calling quits it quits already. I mean, they just got married. Like, I don’t think they’ve even been married a year. So, Charlson peeps, you guys always come out for us in full force. Like we need you. We need more tea on this for the cocktail hours, please. Yeah. So knowing that Southern charm was starting this week, I wanted to share with you guys all an update on the Naomie lawsuit. So for those of you who might have missed those episodes, over a couple different episodes, we talked about this lawsuit that is happening where Naomie Olindo, who was on Southern charm, had an ex business partner slash employee. And I say that with purpose because that is what is at issue here. The Her name is Ginny. Ginny is suing Naomi for cutting her out of the business. Naomi is saying that Jenny was never a partner, Jenny is saying that she was without going into too much detail, definitely check out the podcast because we go into a lot of detail. But that’s pretty much what the lawsuit is about. So if you’ll remember the last time we talked about this was last spring, when it looked like they were going into some kind of alternative dispute resolution, which eight they also call it ADR which is you know, often mediation arbitration. So this means aka like, they’re not going, they weren’t, they were not necessarily headed to court, there was an ADR order. And it looked like that was going to take part in May. At the time, my prediction was like, they’ll probably settle, you know, either as part of this mediation or some further mediation, because court cases like this are expensive, expensive, but I was wrong. The case has continued to go on all summer. And the it’s super, super active. There are documents and their subpoenas flying back and forth from both sides, orders, objections, that kind of stuff, including Ginny, which I think is very interesting is asking for documents from Naomi’s lawyers, from all the way back to 2018. About her partnerships slash employment with Naomi, which the reason I think this is also interesting is Naomi’s lawyers are making a good point that saying like that was privileged information between a client and a lawyer. But I think Jenny is trying to say like, I want to see what Naomi was saying to you guys, because she’s telling me I was a partner. And she’s probably telling you like, how do we get out of you know, actually making her a partner is what I’m guessing Jenny is getting at? I think the case, I mean, it’s got I just don’t even know how Ginni or even Naomi, I mean, are paying for this because this is just looking at all these documents. I’m like, Whoa, this is a lot. And every time you file any kind of motion that like there’s 10 People that touch it more probably when you look at both sides. So I think the case, I would imagine it will still settle looks like Ginny actually put in a request for mediation. Based on what I have seen just going through all the documents and stuff in the past. I think there’s enough out there to make it look like Naomi did call her a partner. I think Naomi will have to pay something. But I mean, at this point, whether or not it’s even gonna cover legal expenses for Ginny like, I’ve got a question at which is probably where Jenny is right now where she’s like, let’s just go to mediation because it feels like there’s no end in sight with this case. It’s almost like they’re both going on principle like Ginny was hoping that she would just settle and pay her out. And when that didn’t happen, which to be honest, I assumed it would too. When that didn’t happen. She was like, Well, I’m just gonna keep going. Yeah, on principle
All and Naomi’s kinda like I got money to burn and you want to go and we’ll go because I have more money, which gives me more power. So Naomi filed a one of the documents I saw, she filed a thing saying, like we request that there is, you know, like, nothing happened during the week. It’s like essentially now until like, like, the week of like, 912 and 917. And then like two weeks in February,
February, like, Oh, God, like, we should like planning vacation, a vacation. Yeah, it’s like because of vacations, like, please, you know, we request that nothing be planned during these weeks. But to me, I was like, that was kind of a baller move on Naomi’s part. Because she’s like, oh, yeah, you know, well, I’ve got this thing planned in February. And like, we could go that long. It’s I wonder if that’s what made Jenny be like, I don’t they all have to see each other. And I imagine they have mutual friends. And it’s just met. So it’s time is messy. We know Naomi is newly single. So her rich boyfriend, Frank, keen, or whatever the hell his name was, that owns the breakers in Palm Springs. And like, I don’t know, a building on some fancy college campus. I feel like Yeah, something like that. He’s not helping her with the bills. So her family has money. I mean, how much money she wants to sink into this when she can just settle. And it probably would have costed cost. The same just shows she’s doing it on principle, right, because you could have settled for 200k. And you’d rather spend it on legal fees and potentially have to give her a settlement. Still, you have to Yeah, so yeah, genius. She’s not but stubborn. Yeah. Yeah. She’s stubborn. I mean, based on what we’ve seen on the show, so it doesn’t really shock me. Right. She’s not coming back. I don’t think she’ll ever come back. I think she just had such a bad showing because it really looks like she was like trying to get back with Greg after all that and then he was with Paige and messy messy. Yeah, agreed.
We have some Dancing with the Stars news, Amanda.
The cast was announced. Yes, some behind the scenes stuff. I don’t even know who’s on the whole class because to be honest with you, Dancing with the Stars is really in the gutter as far as I’m concerned. But, but you know, God bless somebody over there Likes me and has been sending me stuff. Bad news is there’s two crew walk offs. Three celebrities switch shops in the past two weeks alone. This is all right before they announced there was a same sex couple that didn’t know go celebrity confirmed and met with his partner but due to a production conflict he dropped out.
Also, a female contestant dropped out a week and a half ago, Jamie Lynn Spears was her replacement as it from a personal request from casting.
Okay, the same sex couple I heard it was David Archuleta. Now, when I was told this name, it was vaguely familiar. I had to google him to you know, see on the voice or like, Okay, I know those I don’t even know because I just looked at his picture. He looked vaguely familiar, but I’d like to know what his production conflict was. Because if we don’t hear of him, What could he be doing bigger and better than Dancing with the Stars? If it’s good enough for Queen Ariana and Mauricio Umansky? It’s got to be good enough for David Archuleta.

What if she is doing this completely on purpose because she’s not ready to talk terms of a divorce. Because she knows she can take him to the cleaners if they do follow through with it, that he’s kind of in this like powerless spot, and that she can kind of do whatever the fuck she wants to do. Because they were married for so long. And they live in California. We’re entitled to ABA everything. It’s not a fault state, no matter whether either side cheated or anything. Yeah. And then other you know, the other option is Amanda. They’ve always had a freakin open marriage, and are not always not always. But in recent years, it’s been an open marriage. And they’re all confused. I was listening to our girl, Heather McDonald. And she had Dr. Drew on. And I you know, there’s not enough time in the day to listen to like everything you want, because Dr. Drew was so great on it. Yeah. And, you know, you always want to be like, you don’t want to assume that because you’re a certain way. Everybody’s that way, right. Like, I know, an open marriage wouldn’t work for me. But like what Dr. Drew said was, and he’s a relationship expert. And you know, he’s done studies, read studies, whatever. And he said, like, open marriages are just not sustainable. Like it just there’s like a 0% and never worked long term success rate, right. So if that is the case, this we could be watching the breakdown of that. Like, I think that people with a lot of Hollywood splits, we say like, oh, they have an open marriage. But I think when we start to see cracks, whether it was a closed or an open marriage, at this point, it’s no longer working. Right? The Marriage isn’t working in whatever form it was in. I find it hard to believe it’s all bullshit. I think there is stuff going on there.

And he loves his family. I mean, he’s, anyone who watches the show knows that he’s all about his daughters.
and I hope they work it out. Because, you know, marriage is complicated, especially when you’re in the public eye and yeah, all of that. So they work it out meantime Farah, which we had posted about, it’s been confirmed that she has split from her fiance. He never really seemed. I don’t know. They could under seemed like a man. We’re gonna get married maybe. Yeah, I agree. Like, it’s too bad for her. I you know, that’s heartbreaking for her but it you know, sometimes, you know, when a door closes, and you know, a window opens and like crawl through that window Farah because there’s, there’s something better waiting for you. Oh, for sure. Okay, let’s talk about Salt Lake City. I mean, I was cautiously excited, because the first week was really great. Second week. Even better. First, Amanda. I would like to focus on the Trixie motel.

I loved it. It was like bubblegum pink. Even like on TV. It was blinding me. It would probably be so cool in person. If we should ever do a cocktail or get together. Definitely a contender to Trixie motel. Where’s it? Palm Desert? Palm Springs? Palm Springs ish. Yeah, that’s like when they’re, they’re close to each other. Like when? What’s his face? Brock says, Why don’t you get a wet suit? They serve there and married. It’s a desert. There’s like, Oh, that’s right. It is a desert. Okay, so setting. Awesome. Yeah. And then we have the wacko Monica, who I’m really enjoying, I probably shouldn’t call her a wacko. But she’s so pretty. By the way, when she was just sitting there with her mom. Her mom’s very pretty, too. And her and her mom look a lot like, yeah, I and I actually was very, very endeared to her that she’s like, I’m going on this trip with all these women who have so much and I just felt like I needed to go and buy a Louis Vuitton so that I could have something nice too. I was like, good for you. Like for at least for saying like, Hey, this is not, you know, like, this is not I’m not trying to put up any friends. Like, I’m not going to wear all the fake designer stuff. I am I you know, like I am. I am starting kind of over financially after my divorce. And this isn’t something like I don’t leave this like, and I’m not trying to put up any funds to leave this crazy aspirational lifestyle either. I think so often we’re used to women pretending to have when they don’t that I guess it’s refreshing to see someone just be honest. Yeah. And you know, the perks of having somebody like that on there. Like she’s gonna give it to us because she knows that she doesn’t have that aspirational life for us to watch. So she’s got to give us juicy content. She was great in a limo when Lisa lost her ring. And at first she was like, I mean, she went through the tampon ill to find it. And, you know, I like Lisa and Lisa is like Lisa’s very camp and kitschy and, but like
to really be friends with Lisa. It’s almost like she talks at you. Mm hmm. Right, right. Yeah. Even with her husband, even with her children. It’s, it’s hard for me to tell if she’s like that in real life, or if it’s like just how she comes across on television, but we’re kind of she’s been on TV a while now. And I think she’s just like that, ya know, I’m sure she’s probably like, how are you? Here’s what’s been going on with me and then launches into like a 30 minute thing about herself. Like, I agree, she doesn’t feel like it would be a two way street friendship. I do think that Lisa does is able to engage appropriately and communicate appropriately when she deems someone on her level. Like if you notice when she’s with Meredith, she’s much more connected. And it’s more of a reciprocal conversation than when she’s like talking to a Monica or even a Whitney or a heather. Like something about Meredith to her feels like they’re on an equal playing field. And so she tunes in. Does that make sense? Yeah. Yes, it does. Actually.
Everyone else, she sort of just sort of talks at a great point. Speaking of Whitney, there was that scene where she and Heather are in the hot tub at the very beginning. Did you notice she had like a huge bruise on her shoulder that Whitney did like it looked like hand hand marks like somebody grabbed her shoulder? I didn’t notice it. And I don’t like that. Like do we think she had a tussle with one of the women do we think? I don’t know. Well, it’s funny to me. I only bring it up just because the black guy was such an issue. And then like for her tonight
have the presence of mind to be like, Oh, I should probably put some body because like, who knows, it could have just been, you know, rough sex with her husband whatever. Like or like she ran into like a wall like I mean, I have bruises on me. Because I literally walk into things. Yeah, yeah. And I’m I too am clumsy are always rushing funny to me that like the black guy would have been such a big issue. And that like she wouldn’t have had the presence of mind to be like, I should probably put some body makeup on this and like because nobody had the presence of mind to be like that’s picking up on camera. It was strange, unless somehow be some sort of storyline later, which I? I certainly hope not unless it was like she was in a skiing accident or something. Yeah. And that I mean, I get in skiing. I love to ski as I’ve talked about like, and that could it could have been to ski poles who knows that? We’re right next to each other? I don’t know. I feel like you’d mentioned that and be like, do you see this from my skin? Yeah, I know. I would do it and it got caught. I don’t know. Oh, that could be okay. Let’s have a heather. Yes. Okay, I found her comments about Jack’s mission, incredibly out of line.
And I really I know we discussed it last week, I was trying to come into this with like, some grace for her because in confessional she can be very self depreciating. And, and funny, and there’s something about her that you sort of feel like she’s always trying to fit in and trying to find her way even though you know, she’s a grown woman. She’s sort of lost because her Mormon identity was such a part of her that it’s almost like her self now is like a kid right? She’s like developing herself. But do not make your storyline someone else’s child.
Like, if she wants to go after Lisa, which she has every right to and perhaps reason even go right ahead. But this this is an IT. And I just really didn’t like it. And Whitney was sort of like, um, why did my freaking stuck in this conversation?
Yeah, I mean, I agree. Don’t go up to the kid. I think what Heather was saying, like I, because I think that’s why Lisa. Is Lisa is upset by her son going on this mission. Yes. And what it seems that partly she is upset with is that he’s like, I mean, Mom and Dad, I’m not like you. And I think essentially what he’s saying is like, I am a devout I identify as a devout Mormon, that I want, you know, to have this more devout lifestyle. I want to go on the mission. I want to, you know, not drink, not drink caffeine. Not do drugs. I didn’t know that. I know. You’ve studied the whole Mormon religion, but I don’t know. You can’t drink caffeine. No, they’re not even. I mean, they do. A lot of them. A lot of Mormons do anyway, but yeah, they’re, they’re technically not supposed to. It’s like I forget what draws a line, like doctor prescribed substances fine. And then like, remember, we talked about there was this whole thing about DMT? And how DMT fell into the like, it’s okay, kind of, which is why the whole Mormon talk thing and like, anyway, that’s a whole different subject. But you know, I think what Heather is saying is what Lisa is actually upset about, but it’s not Heather’s place. It is not her frickin, it’s not her place. It’s not her place to talk about it. Like I think she’s zeroing in on what least I think she’s right. But I don’t think she’s right to talk about it. Exactly. And she knows she’s not. Yeah. And I know that she would not take kindly to anyone having a conversation. And, you know, that I think the part of what bothered me about it was that she herself, was a Mormon. She’s no longer part of the church. She has three daughters herself, her daughters, at some point could decide that they wanted to become
more religious or go back to the church or may meet somebody they fall in love with and they raise their family in the church, they may decide to go on a mission. So I am surprised from that point, that it’s almost like
bad karma. I, I don’t know. I think it just surprised me and not in a good way. Yeah. How about the fact that Mary actually wrote on the bus and flew on the plane with them? Okay, and now we know that she’s the way okay the way she is
Right now she definitely was slated to be full time which we had heard. Something happens where she starts filming I think at first, listen, Mary so batshit crazy that everybody kind of walks on eggshells around her. It’s like the one thing they can all agree on. Like, let’s not aggravate Mary. But there must come a point where she’s around a lot that somebody just throws that out the window. I’m gonna guess Whitney?
Yeah, it’d be my guess. I feel like Lisa’s just like staying away from it. I can’t Meredith Meredith pretends to be her friend. Obviously, they’re not really friends. Meredith is just like she’s too crazy for me not to be on her bad side. I don’t see how they’re doing it. I certainly don’t see Monica doing it. I think it’s got to be Whitney.
Because she doesn’t film with them as much, which is why she’s only a friend. But like, what about her son sitting there with the hood up laughing and they’re calling? And she’s asking about Dawn Perry on? Yeah. And what’s with the eyes? Is that a thyroid thing?
All right, because the only person I remember famous that had it was I remember Wendy Williams always would say because people would be critical of her eyes. And she would always say like, I have a thyroid condition. And that’s why my eyes are like this. So that’s the only reason I even know it’s a thing. But her eyes are crazy. I mean, there’s so many little just weird details from this episode, including that and like her calling about the Dom Perignon, which I thought was hilarious. And when they say it’s a motel, and again, she does the face.
What about Angie, and her husband’s sleeping in the bed with the dog and the 11 year old?
In the giant, giant bed? I mean, I think that is probably kind of realistic, but also funny.
I mean, listen, I don’t have I my cousin’s an only child, and she slept with her parents forever. So maybe that’s why I think that I don’t know what having a sibling has to do with sleeping in your own bed. So maybe it’s just a coincidence, but
very good looking, by the way. Yeah, he’s really cute and not Greek. I don’t think because she’s all into the Greek. Yeah. Which is fun. Again, I love seeing different nationalities and cultures. And the Greek culture is such a fun culture. I love like going to the Greek fair they have Yes. Best. So do you know exactly these are? Remind me. Okay, so Zeppeli is a fried dough. It’s an Italian thing. Like you’ll get it in an Italian fare. And it has powdered sugar on it. Okay, so Greeks have and I’m going to totally destroy the name of it. But it’s like, Look commodities. Greek followers at me. I know I’m saying it wrong. But it’s basically the fried dough. And then they have honey on them. And then the powdered sugar. Ooh, so good. That sounds delicious. Oh, good. Give me all the Greek food. Oh, I love the cheese that they led on fire. How bad Oh, the Saganaki huh. Wait, funny story. I was when we were younger, my husband and I like I say younger. Like when we were either dating or like newly married. But obviously, you become more cultured, and I don’t know, adjusted to eating out. Like when you’re young, you go with your parents, whatever you order it, but whatever. So we’re young. And we were at a Greek restaurant, and we ordered the Saganaki. And they did it tableside. So they put alcohol on it. Like I want to say brandy and then they light it on fire. Well, the guy that did it, like, did it wrong. And we’re sitting there and it’s this piece of cheese that’s not fried. And it’s just soaked in brandy and like so we’re kinda like eating it. And like, we were like, 20 or something. We’re like looking at each other. Like, is this like supposed to be like this? So we like eat it. The another waiter comes over. It was like a young kid that did it next to our table. And he comes over he’s like, oh, what it was that good. We’re like, now we’re like, Blitz, because
brandy like you were already like, had had a cocktail. And we’re having wine with dinner. So we’re like, it’s kind of tasty beer. They took it off. Anyway, they took it off the bill. But I always remember that. Oh, it’s like it’s part of the show. It’s like,
my cheese on fire. Yes. How bad? Did you want a Greek salad last night? I mean, it looks delicious. And then I was like, What is she making in the blender that she then doesn’t serve to anybody? Like what is that? I need to know what it is? I don’t know. I’m just very interested in like, what other people are serving for their families because that Greek salad did look delicious. I find it funny because you could see that all the way that all of them but the majority of them are pissed that she got full time because they really wanted her gone for whatever reason, but I think she’s going to be great. I think she’s going to be a great housewife. Yeah, I think she’s going to be a really good pot stirrer. I think she doesn’t have anything to lose as far as like friendships and things like that. So I think she’s gonna say whatever she wants to say and she’s gonna go there and I think it’s going to be I think it’s going to be good. I don’t like
Do I want to like go out and have like a glass of wine with her? I’m not so sure. Especially because I just think it’s very strange that she has a custom bed and custom bedding. So that I mean, I just I find that so strange and like, I need it history. Yeah, it’s very I don’t know, it’s very strange to me. And I was an only child, I did not sleep.
Why do I you know what it is? It’s because my cousin, I’m trying to remember when my cousin I think my cousin stopped at like, 10. But she had felt like, I’m two years older than her. And I just remember feeling like, forever. And I would sidenote, like, when I was like, two, I would be scared and my mother was like, You’re in your own bed, do not come in here. And always like, it was like a point of contention. Like, well, Katie still sleeps with her parents and my mother being like, yeah, she’s 10. That’s not normal. Like
you wouldn’t even let me when I was a baby and whatever. Yeah. Oh, memories, anyway. Well, I think it’s gonna be Yeah, I think it’s gonna be a great season. Yeah. All right. So listen, what are we looking for this week? We’re looking for what in the hell is happening with Carlin? Lindsey? I think he doesn’t make a statement after this. Say last coral, say less?
