I have it on good authority that knows a close source to the fan favorite on the cast. They informed me that the stresses of job were getting to her and she strongly considered leaving. The extended break is productions way of easing the tension for the cast.

Garcelle…poor gal.
Garcelle 🙁 I’ll be sooo sad if she leaves. This might mean Rinna is finally out!!! They can’t afford to lose her.
Rinna deserves all the bad karma coming her way
More like Kyle. Garcelle is great for the show, but I don’t think they’d delay the show for her. She isn’t an OG. It’s clear the Kyle is close to production and Andy
This is written to lean towards Garcelle. VERY understandable if it’s true. I am shocked she’s returning because it seems that she puts family and peace of mind above everything. But I could also see Kyle wanting to delay filming. She broke down during the reunion. Hopefully she sees that Rinna and Erika are not only fake allies with her but they are totally against her and wants to see he work for her check.
Garcelle, girl bye.
I was thinking she might leave as I watched the reunion, and they mentioned HR looking into the petty KH/LR drama, but not the very real threats to her family. Kyle and Dorit not really having to answer for laughing at E telling her son to F off. It was a lot. I wouldn’t blame her for leaving, though I’d be sad to see her go.
