Winneka? Is that like for Chicago?
Yes!! That’s where the house from Home Alone is. It’s such a cute town. Seemed old money to me.
As a winnetka resident, I hope this is not true. Not a welcome development.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is true. Winnetka is a very affluent suburb right outside of Chicago.

Why wouldn’t they just call it Chicago? Like no one outside knows of Winnetka.
Same reason they call it Potomac and not Maryland, they’re being boujee.
As someone from about 45 mins outside of Chicago I would be irritated if they called it Real Housewives of Chicago and it was in Winnetka. They just don’t represent the same area. Winnetka represents the real rich rich suburbs so it’s perfect for a new cast, however, I’m sure they’ll visit Chicago at least once!
