Wouldn’t be surprised if this is true. Winnetka is a very affluent suburb right outside of Chicago.

As someone from about 45 mins outside of Chicago I would be irritated if they called it Real Housewives of Chicago and it was in Winnetka. They just don’t represent the same area. Winnetka represents the real rich rich suburbs so it’s perfect for a new cast, however, I’m sure they’ll visit Chicago at least once!
