I guess the difference is they do a range of other things with massive donations and support to foundations and research etc. so while it seems like hypocrisy how else do you get around?
I’m sure he flies private, as do many. I also know he flies commercial because my husband who is a commercial airline pilot has actually had him on multiple flights from LAX-JFK and LAX-SFO over the last 10 years. Also a lot of actors offset their private flying by making donations and purchasing carbon offsets. Not that it’s better or the right answer, just info from a different source.
