Casting for the next season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is actively being sorted out, and while nothing is finalized, producers are beginning to narrow down the direction they want to take.
As it stands, the current plan is to bring back Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Rachel Zoe, and Amanda Frances back full-time. Producers are also hoping Garcelle Beauvais returns, while casting one additional new Housewife to round out the ensemble.
Crystal Kung Minkoff and Jennifer Tilly are currently being looked at as “Friends of the Housewives,” while Kathy Hilton, Camille Grammer, and Denise Richards are ideally expected to make guest appearances throughout the season being that they have genuine connections to the current group.
Lisa Rinna’s name has come up in discussions, but she’s asking for significantly more money than the network is willing to pay, making a return unlikely. The futures of Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John remain undecided and will largely depend on how the final cast comes together. It’s likely that either one or the other would return.
Overall, the goal is to push the franchise forward with a refreshed dynamic rather than relying too heavily on the past. Expect 8 FT, 2 FOH’s, and some guest appearances.
