Former “Summer House” star Danielle Olivera is making headlines after being sued over alleged unpaid rent—though a source says the situation has already been handled.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, landlords Csaba Kanyaro and Ana Kanyaro filed a lawsuit claiming Danielle owed $16,650. The filing alleges she failed to pay her $5,550-per-month rent for November 2025, December 2025, and January 2026 on a Brooklyn apartment.
The landlords also requested that Danielle be removed from the two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,246-square-foot unit. However, there has been no movement in the case since January.
A source close to Danielle told TMZ, “Rent is fully paid,” adding that she remains on good terms with her landlords.

The lawsuit comes as “the founder and CEO” prepares for her next Bravo chapter. Along with current “Summer House” stars Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, and Amanda Batula, Danielle will be back on our small screens in the upcoming spinoff, “In the City. ”
Ahead of season 9, she announced she was leaving “Summer House” after being on the cast since season 2.
“I wanted to share that I’ve come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full-time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House,” Olivera, 35, said in a statement shared via Instagram, noting the decision “didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought.”
She said she needed to “trust” her “gut” moving forward.
“If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity,” she explained. “The network, production, [her] cast, and especially all of [the viewers] deserve that.”
Danielle also opened up about shifting priorities.
“Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me — my company, my people, and of course myself,” she added.
She also thanked NBCUniversal, Bravo, and Truly Original for “understand[ing]” and “support[ing]” her decision.
“In the City” premieres May 19.
