Kyle Cooke is setting the record straight after fans speculated about a pointed comment tied to the leaked reunion audio from “Summer House” season 10.
Kyle took to Threads on Friday to clarify exactly who he meant when he used the word “schmuck.”
“This was directed at West [Wilson],” he wrote, shutting down theories that the remark may have been aimed at his ex, Amanda Batula, who is currently dating West Wilson.
The comment comes as fans continue to dissect the now-viral audio clip, which features Ciara Miller calling Batula a “(expletive) snake,” sparking major buzz ahead of the reunion episode.
Kyle Cooke Reacts to ‘Summer House’ Reunion Leak Investigation
Kyle also addressed the leak itself in a video shared to his Instagram Stories, making it clear that the situation is being taken seriously behind the scenes.
“Bravo takes this very seriously. They’re doing a full-blown cyber investigation. So, if you’re the one who leaked [it], you might want to seek cover or council,” he said, reacting to what he called “wild” conspiracy theories.
He went on to shut down the idea that anyone from the cast or production team would benefit from leaking the clip.
“This was not a phone on set. Everybody — if you do have a phone on set, it’s stuck behind a pillow or a couch cushion. So, the cameras can’t see it. I don’t really see why anyone would gain [from] having leaked this. That goes for producers, crew, and Bravo,” he explained.
“This was someone clearly acting on their own. It doesn’t even look like they got paid because the audio clip is everywhere.”

Kyle even offered his own theory about how the leak may have occurred, suggesting it likely came from outside the immediate cast.
“This was someone who took their phone and put it up to a speaker, where there was a live feed,” he said.
“There’s only a couple different rooms with monitors. And, of course, then there’s the actual set. It kind of sounds like they were trying to be discreet because you can hear them fumbling their phone in the beginning and the end.”
He added that the audio quality points directly to production sources rather than a cast recording.
“The audio itself, from all of the cast, sounds like it’s audio from our mics,” Kyle said, noting there’s “just no way” someone on set could have recorded it themselves.
The “Summer House” season 10 reunion will air the week after the finale May 19.
