As Brittany Cartwright’s split from Jax Taylor continues to play out on “The Valley” season 3, Brittany is already looking ahead—and admitting there are moments she’s not exactly excited to revisit.

Speaking to BravoTV.com, Brittany opened up about her short-lived relationship with Brandon Hanson, which unfolds on the show. “I feel like the fact that I was in like a ‘mini’ relationship for a second is kind of cringy,” she admitted. “So, I’m a little worried about that.”

The relationship, which later ended in October 2025 after a few months of dating, became official during the April 15 episode. Brittany defended the decision at the time, pointing to their long history. “I keep going back to the fact that I knew him for so long, and, like, he was a really good friend to me, back in the day,” she said on “The Valley After Show.” “And I felt like, I actually know this person.”

Looking back, Brittany acknowledged there were warning signs. “I mean, drama was happening as soon as people found out that we were dating,” she said. “There was a lot of red flags.”

Now, Brittany says she’s fully embracing single life. “I’m not in a relationship. I have situationships, but not relationships,” she told BravoTV.com. “So, just having fun.” She added that she is “single as a pringle.”

During a February 2026 appearance on Lala Kent’s “Untraditionally Lala” podcast, Brittany shared that she expects her outlook to shift once her divorce is finalized. “Honestly, I think once my divorce is final, it’s going to open new doors for me in a weird way,” she said. “A lot of stuff I do is in private.”

Brittany Cartwright & Lala Kent Bond Over Dating Advice

As Brittany navigates dating, she revealed that Lala Kent has become her go-to sounding board. “We still believe in love, even though we’ve been treated like s—t,” Brittany joked.

She explained that the two are in similar places. “I think me and Lala actually talk about dating a lot more than with everyone else, because we’re in the same place,” she said.

Lala echoed that sentiment while speaking to BravoTV.com in March. “I would like to find my person,” Lala said, adding, “I’m finally just out here ready to mingle.”

Brittany said they often share their thoughts on potential matches. “We’re ready to date, and you know, we’re always showing each other the guys that we think are hot,” she explained. “And just like, trying to take our time, but also have fun, because we deserve that.”

Lala added, “Like, we’re both a little freaky. So, there’s no judgement there,” before joking, “I need advice from Brittany on like, ‘Do I send the nude, or do I not send the nude?’”

Despite her own relationship ups and downs, Brittany pointed to one couple she admires on “The Valley.”

“I think Janet and Jason have a wonderful marriage, and it’s not shown how great it is actually very often,” she told BravoTV.com. “So, I think they have a great marriage.”

New episodes of “The Valley” air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
