Jo-Ellen Tiberi Addresses Swinger Rumors on RHORI and Reveals Truth About Her Marriage

Jo-Ellen Tiberi is setting the record straight — again.

The “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” star is addressing ongoing rumors about her marriage to Gary Tiberi after a moment on the show sparked plenty of speculation. During the After Show, Jo-Ellen made it clear that despite the chatter, she and Gary are not swingers.

Jo-Ellen said the rumors have been following her for a while, especially after fans noticed her wearing pineapple earrings — a symbol often associated with swinging.

“I don’t know where this came from,” Jo-Ellen said. “Gary and I are not swingers, ever.”

She added, “I would punch a b**ch in the face if they were f**king my husband.”

Jo-Ellen admitted the earrings were intentional. She wore them “just to f**k with people,” fully aware of the meaning behind them.

Still, she acknowledged one reason fans may be curious. Jo-Ellen previously shared that she and Gary had a threesome in the past, but emphasized that it doesn’t reflect their current relationship.

“Gary would never” be a swinger now, she said, adding that she wouldn’t want that dynamic in their marriage either.

The RHORI Star Opens Up About Marriage and Family Life

The topic first came up during a group outing on the April 5 episode, when the cast addressed rumors about each other.

“I hear this question often,” Jo-Ellen said on the show. “I am not a swinger. Gary and I are not swingers.”

She made it clear she has no issue with others who choose that lifestyle.

“I have nothing against it,” she said. “If anything, I’m like, ‘Tell me more.’ Like, it’s interesting. It’s just not for me or my marriage.”

Jo-Ellen also shared more about her relationship with Gary, revealing they met in high school. “I was like, I want to marry this man, and I chased him,” she said. “And then, finally, I got him.”

Now, the couple shares three children — and Jo-Ellen keeps it real about motherhood. “Having three kids might as well be having 500 children,” she joked.

Between the rumors, the jokes, and the honesty, it’s clear Jo-Ellen is leaning into the RHORI spotlight — on her own terms.
