Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman are officially going their separate ways.

TheLove on the Spectrumstars, who met during season 1 of the Netflix series in 2021, have reportedly broken up after five years together. The pair quickly became fan favorites and remained the show’s longest-running couple, appearing across all four seasons.

Over the years, viewers watched their relationship grow, as the couple celebrated milestones together and even returned to the zoo for their four-year anniversary in July 2025. Abbey shared a sweet clip of David surprising her with a gift.

The couple also made frequent appearances on social media, including a December 2025 video from Universal Studios.We’ve loved having an annual pass,Abbey wrote alongside a clip of the two dancing.

Abbey Romeo Opened Up About Marriage Before Split

Despite their strong bond, Abbey previously shared that the couple was not rushing into marriage.

“Neither one of us are ready to get married,Abbey said during season 4.I don’t want to be a divorced lady like my mom, so that’s why I don’t want to rush it.”

Still, the two had talked about their future, even floating ideas like a wedding in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. Abbey once said they already feltmarried in our hearts.”

Abbey’s mother, Christine, also discussed a nontraditional approach to marriage during an appearance on The Unplanned Podcast.”

“It doesn’t have to be in the traditional sense,Christine said.You can have your place, he can still have his place… so that they can make that commitment without having it to upheaval everything else.”
