With the reunion wrapped, Married to Medicine is set to begin filming its 13th season in the summer following a mini break. Producers are waiting until May to see how Dr. Heavenly fares in the primary election for her District 13 campaign. If she wins, the show will continue without her. Otherwise, not much will change: Dr. Jackie, Dr. Simone, Dr. Contessa, Dr. Mimi, Toya, and Quad will remain full-time. Brandi, who is being promoted, as well as a new doctor, will join them as FT as well.

Anila Saija is also returning as a friend following a 3 year break off the show, while Angel will stay a friend.
