“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is officially back — and season 17 is wasting no time turning up the heat.

Bravo dropped the trailer for the new season, introducing two new full-time cast members: singer K. Michelle and entrepreneur Pinky Cole. They join returning Housewives Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton, Angela Oakley and Kelli Ferrell, while Cynthia Bailey returns as a friend.

And yes, the drama starts immediately.

K. Michelle & Pinky Cole Stir the Pot in ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Season 17

In one eyebrow-raising moment, K. Michelle appears to take aim at Phaedra.

“I trust no lawyer that don’t practice the law,” she says in the clip.

Pinky quickly follows with, “I don’t trust no lawyer that eat dead people.”

In another scene, Phaedra reacts: “I eat dead people?”

Elsewhere, Angela tells Porsha that Drew allegedly accused her of “sleeping with a married man.”

“Oh, she wanna spread her own tea?” Porsha fires back.

Pinky also clashes with Angela, telling her, “I should’ve bought your foreclosed houses.”

Angela responds, “Okay, Mr. Clean, don’t do it, Papa Smurf.”

Romance, Receipts & Blowups Take Center Stage

On the relationship front, Porsha introduces a mystery man, saying, “I didn’t expect God to send a six-five-tall man with big arms and tattoos.”

Later, she is seen dining with her current girlfriend, Patrice “Sway” McKinney, whom she refers to as her “friend.”

“Sometimes we play the field too much, and then we look up, and we like, ‘What happened?’” Sway tells Porsha.

K. Michelle also shares a more personal side, opening up to husband Dr. Kastan Sims about career pressure.

“I’m on the biggest country music label, and I don’t think people understand that pressure, being the only Black woman,” she says.

Meanwhile, Pinky boasts about her accomplishments, declaring, “I’m one of the most powerful entrepreneurs in America. I built this 100-million-dollar brand,” and adding, “Behind every great man is an even better woman.”

The season escalates with multiple confrontations. Porsha accuses Kelli of “[sleeping] with a married man,” which Kelli denies. Drew is shown with her “friend” Black, presenting her with roses, while K. Michelle alleges he has been in her DMs.

Tensions explode, culminating in a heated moment where Kelli shouts, “Porsha f*cked every Nigerian in Atlanta!”

Season 17 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premieres Sunday, April 5, at 8/7c on Bravo. Buckle up.
