Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is returning next month — and the women of MomTok are leveling up in a big way.

Season 4 premieres March 12 with all 10 episodes dropping at once, and several cast members are now officially executive producers. Jen Affleck, Jessi Draper, Taylor Frankie Paul, Miranda Hope, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, and Layla Taylor have all been handed executive producer credits for the new season. Season 5 has already been ordered, so this power move appears to extend beyond just one cycle.

‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Stars Score Executive Producer Upgrade Ahead of Season 4

The upgrade comes after the show’s first two seasons earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Although the series ultimately lost to Netflix’s “Love On The Spectrum,” the recognition was a major milestone.

Rob Mills, EVP of Unscripted & Alternative Entertainment at Walt Disney Television, felt the women deserved additional credit after working closely with producers to shape the hit series, according to Deadline.

One notable name missing from the executive producer list? Demi Engemann.

Demi still appears in season 4, including the premiere episode, but she is billed as a “friend” rather than a full-time cast member. She also does not appear in the season’s key art.

In the season 4 “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” trailer, Layla is seen asking Demi directly, “Are you done with the show altogether?” Viewers do not get an answer — at least not yet.

Contract negotiations have already been part of the on-screen storyline.

Last season included drama over Whitney allegedly not wanting a pay raise, but instead asking for Oscars tickets and a role in a scripted series. Jeff Jenkins, who produces the show, previously told the outlet that including contract discussions was “a little inside baseball.”

“Usually, a cast signs a contract for two, three, four or five cycles or seasons,” Jenkins explained. “They are supposed to complete that contract and then when it’s up, it’s an opportunity to renegotiate… Sometimes, when a project is really well received by viewers, the reps for the talent… say, ‘We know that our contract is still in play, but these cast members have delivered you a hit, so we think they should be given a little more attention.’”

Season 4 will follow Taylor as she steps into the spotlight as “The Bachelorette,” Jen and Whitney as they appear on “Dancing with the Stars,” Jessi navigating relationship struggles and Mayci heading out on a book tour.

MomTok is clearly not just surviving — it’s thriving.
